Week: 12

Songs to Remember: Better Day - 100%, Hit Me - MOBB

        I realize that a lot of things is starting to come around by the end of this week. By that I mean plans for the weekend, Halloween, due dates, projects, the like.

        Dance was actually just an explanation of, you guessed it, a project. Just, just stack 'em all up for me fam, just stack 'em up like a Jenga tower. Anyways, we're supposed to research a type of dance, do a presentation about it, including a slideshow presentation, and uh, also demonstrate the dance (or a dance) of that type, as well as teach the class a snippet of it. And, as you guessed, I picked K-Pop. There were a couple others who wanted to do it, specifically Sc and her buddy, as well as this one girl who's new to KDT. Sc and her buddy settled on Chinese fan dances, and the other settled on J-Pop (which, is basically the exact same thing but, in a different language).

        It's not as bad as other projects since the teacher will be giving us like, two in-class days to work on it in the library next week, but like, I gotta learn some more dances and I'm already falling pretty lazy in uh, rehearsing the ones for KDT already. But, at least it's not like, a whole essay or a story, unlike some other classes. Math, fortunately it was a group quiz, and fortunately, I did get carried a bit. I mean I did know how to do it, it's just that, I just needed a little, "push," in the right direction. But for real though, I did know how to do them, just, needed confirmation on some answers.

        I'm pretty sure I got a 100%, which is nice. Umm, no break 'cause it was Wednesday, Digital Art, just worked on work, I still need to take a picture of myself so I can manipulate it for a future project. And yeah, it's due tomorrow, so just gonna do whatever, I don't have to try as hard for this class as I should. 'Cause really, why? Unless I got time to burn, or, I really, really want to. For this project, I don't. English, on the board it's been written "Epic poem due Thursday." Unfortunately, the teacher meant THIS Thursday, as in tomorrow, but fortunately, he said he'd extend the due date. So uh, that saved me a lot of coffee drinking today, heh. Like, it would not take me long to make up a story fitting the criteria, but, I do wanna make it good just for my intrinsic motivation of this being a project in which I get full creative uhhh, what's the word? Control? Full creative control, so I do like to take advantage of that.

        And no, I don't need to try so hard for just regular English of which I already have an A+ in, but, again, I just want to, because, I want to. Lunch, now you might be thinking "Ooo Drew, he 'bout to do it." Nah, I, I didn't do anything actually, the reason being I was just not in the mood, I felt like shit, I was not 100%, and if I don't feel 100%, I can't and don't give 100%. And I, I wanna start it off strong. Now, I already have created a sort of leniency with Cy. From 5th period to 6th, I do approach her and then walk along-side her instead of waiting for a moment to be like "Oh hey Cy" like a in "Oh, didn't see ya there, what's happening fam?"

        Lunch was whatever, and, Gov, we finished our simulation of an election. We each represented a state, the candidates approached the ones they wanted, asked us to vote for them, etc. And uh, yeah, it was, pretty interesting to say the least. It was a simulation, I got a hands-on experience of the basics of how elections work, etc. Still got an argumentative paper due November 2nd, so. And finally Chinese, of which we didn't really do much, just, filled out a worksheet packet in class, read, etc.

        I finished about, 2-and-a-half more KDT apparel designs, submitted 'em, we're gucci. I just gotta work on art for the story for English, finish some Chinese work, finish math, take my picture for Digital Art, and, leave the rest for after Halloween, heh. Specifically writing shit. Even when I have two to three classes which don't give out shit for homework, I still feel up to the brim. Not near-drowning like last year, but close. It's 10:50 PM, see ya.
