Week: 9
Songs to Remember: Prism - SHINee

This season started out with a large spike in fan discussion, then it went quite for a bit, and now it's a lot of fan discussion again.

Starting off, Dance was some nice practice. Right now it's not too much work (if a class doesn't have homework, I'd pretty much categorize it as not too much work), it's nice a steady pace, next week we're gonna be learning our dance that we're gonna be doing for the end dance recital in May. This is only like the, class choreography, that we all have to do. Also it ain't much action or whatever, just a nice mellow 50 minutes, considering it's 1st period and everybody's tired as fuck, heh.

Math, now this time I can say I was definitely, definitely carried. It wasn't that far into the lessons we've learned, so I was like "You know what, I think that it'll be easy after all." Nope. It was 3 questions, so if you miss 1, you're done. And uh, the questions were from the earlier chapters, the easier ones. But the questions themselves, weren't as easy. I mean, out of all the numbers and problems the teacher could've chose, she chose my least favorite ones: the letter "e," and limits.

First question I got it no problem. The second was iffy at best, and the third, I, had no clue at all what to do for the third. Luckily my partner did know, so, she saved my ass definitely. And it wasn't just a total copy either, like, I did try to understand it all before writing it down. Also my partner used stuff from the first question from mine's, so it was a good settlement. And yes, I did get a 100%, thank the lord.

Surprisingly there was break today (considering it's a rally schedule). Not so surprisingly, it wasn't that out of the ordinary. Digital Art, I got some more work done, English, we were scheduled to go to the 2nd rally, so we spent the period watching this bootleg-ass animated Beowulf movie. Animated as in like, the Shrek-kind of animated. Also it was like from 2007, the graphics were pretty good considering it was from 2007. But let me tell you, it is seriously one of the most bootleg adaptions I've ever seen. First of all, lots of sexual innuendo. Second, lots of naked-ness, especially from Beowulf. And lots, lots of blood, and gore. Definitely not for kids, and the teacher probably needed us to have a permission slip signed to watch this considering, this movie shows a lot more disturbing graphics than your usual R-rated movie in theaters, but whatever, no one's complaining.

When it was time to go the rally, Lw proposed we just ditch the rally go hang out in this one teacher's room. I was gonna go do that, but then fortunately (and unfortunately) I remembered I had to actually watch the rally and pay attention to it for Dance class. When I walked in (one of the last 40 people or so to get in the gym), the seats were all full. Like, all full, not one inch of space was available, heh. So, I ended up sitting on the stairs between the seats, which yes, is a fire-hazard. I was sitting next to Vh, but, I didn't really feel it anymore.

The rally itself was bootleg, as always. I realized during that time "Wow, I've sat through rallies on rallies for almost 4 years now." The thing is they don't really make a big enough impact for me to remember what exactly goes on. Except that one time I performed with KDT, that was something I could remember. So for this rally, they announced some awards for people, nominations from teachers for students who do some good shit, most of the nominations came from my Chinese teacher, because apparently no other teacher really nominated anybody. Umm, Homecoming court nominees were announced, nothing too important, there were some bootleg games, uhh, and yeah just your average boot-leg rally stuff.

After was lunch, of which, nothing too too out of the ordinary discussions of memes and current events today. Also today was "blue and gold" day, of which, I didn't really wear blue and or gold. There was no spirit point counting either, so it didn't matter. Gov was a lot of planning. First, we sent anonymous critiques of the teacher's teaching for uh, I don't know, whatever. Then we planned out our groups for the final project for the class, which was to make a law, starting with an argumentative paper, and, other research shit. As for groups, he gave us the option of picking 4 other people, of which at least 1 will be with us. Or you can just gather 3 or 4 others and make your group right there.

Surprisingly, I guess our group has bonded so well with shit for the past, few weeks or so, that uh, we agreed to do the final project as our table-group. And to be honest, everybody else had their groups already and whatever. But yeah, that really touched me, heh, I was like "Damn, so I'ma end Gov with these people. I'm actually fine with that." Finally, Chinese, where we do some hard-ass sentence-writing shit, and, our group (of course) gets selected to go up and interact with Google's "speech-to-text" (not text-to-speech) function, but with Chinese.

After school was the super-clean, KDT "Monster" practice. There wasn't as many people as I though it would be, which is good. I tried to keep my focus on being a visual guide but, god damn, that dude that's (I'm guessing) is with Mt, is sitting right there. He was in the back for about 99.999% of the time. Didn't really do much, say much. Mt didn't actually interact with him all that much except for some times. I'm still unsure of who the hell he is, or what's his name.

But for the practice, yeah it went pretty smoothly. Everybody pretty much got the dance down, which is good. Just a couple more weeks to strengthen the moves, then a couple more weeks to add exaggeration, expression, comfort, not bad. Then comes formations, transitions, etc, and, we're gucci. So, went pretty smoothly.

Tomorrow, might eat dinner with the cast before going to Homecoming. Yes it will be a special, not a movie. Currently the only members going are Jk, DrewN, and me (to the dance, almost everybody, maybe not Ag, is going to the dinner, which is at a bootleg budget Olive Garden). I'm putting my thoughts on low, putting them on low. Also, snowcones, which is what I'll be looking forward to at the Homecoming dance. Well alright, that's about it for today. Tomorrow, just gonna relax and prep for something I hope I don't experience again. See ya.
