Week: 11

Songs to Remember: Dangerous - MC GREE (MC그리)

        I'm just gonna say it up-front: my parents are gonna get a divorce. Why? One, they ain't gonna live together forever once I leave for college, or, after.

        Secondly, it's for me to get more money out of financial aid. I looked it up and apparently you can do that. At first I was, well, shocked, at hearing that word. My mom just said it casually though, not like sitting me down and like, tell me all about it (this was yesterday by the way).

        My parents do get along on most things, but for some stuff, it leads to different views, and therefore, they just wouldn't click. They still are, to be honest, great friends. I'd say best friends. They're just, not really husband and wife anymore, there's no real "love" left. There is, however, companionship, and I think it's for the best, for everybody. I think everybody's taking it pretty well because, for one, I'm gonna be off to college and uh, my parents, they've done all they could for me for these 17 (will be 18 years soon) years.

        And two, I'm, I'm older now and I understand what a divorce is. I'd imagine if they did this when I was a bit younger, I'd, maybe cry. A lot. Actually, it's a positive on the cry, heh. Umm, the best thing about all of this, or, the most positive outlook on all of this is: that my parents are not doing this out of hatred for each other. It didn't, and will not, end with yelling or high-tempered heads. It's instead met with logic, and, what guarantees the best possible future for me, something mutual that they both agree. So that's nice, heh, I guess.

        But anyways, back to the day. Dance, we went over the dance again for those who forgot it over the weekend (like me sorta). Added a couple more moves, and, that's it. Math, unfortunately, the teacher did not check homework, so, I finished it for nothing. Sure, I uh, I didn't have to do math work today, but, I didn't really get to sleep last night because of it. And, I got a 60% on the test, which was multiple choice. I blame it on the tricky-ass problems that the teacher picked out of the possible ones she could've picked. Break, was fine. Digital Art, I wrapped up my pumpkin design, based the face off of Sans from UnderTale (but have yet to actually play past the first 2 minutes of it). And uh, the next projects are, taking a picture of yourself and manipulating it so you look like you've shrunken (think "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" or "The Ant Bully").

        Another project is putting images into text, which is pretty easy since I have done that multiple times before. It's gonna take me about 5 minutes to do so, there's that, heh. English, my teacher was in Oregon for something so we had a substitute. We basically just watched more of "Beowulf" (the 2007 version). It's surprisingly good. If you count out the nakedness of the Grendel fight, it's a legit movie. Lunch, was the same as usual. Gov, it was a workday, just, work on whatever project you wanna do, whether it be the commercial, or, research for the final project.

        My tablemates and I exchanged a few laughs about some NSFW stuff, heh. Brought up everybody's spirits, as well as revealing to me how descriptive one can be when describing NSFW acts. And finally Chinese, where we switched seats and I got an above average one. I'd rate it a 8/10, maybe even a 9 actually. That one girl who sat next to me, the one who knew how to take the initiative, the one where the teacher moved me for the skit project because she's as bad at Chinese as I am, heh, yeah I'm sitting next to her again. Which is nice. And in front of me is this one girl who hangs out with this one girl who used to partake in KDT but doesn't anymore.

        And KDT practice after school, that was alright. We just cleaned up the dance (for EXO's "Monster"), did formations, and, that's about it. Very, casual, and, help-y. Anyways, forgot to mention that I had my eyes closed for 2 hours straight last night and I could not fall asleep. I tried switching the track I was listening to, switch playlists, put on a commentary video, still nothing. I probably got about 3-4 hours of sleep in total, which is not good, heh.

        Not my fault though, I was feeling extremely drowsy, I could've just went to sleep right there, but I had to to keep myself awake to finish math work, then because of that, I was unfortunately able to stay awake while having my eyes closed and in bed, for 2-3 hours.
