Week: 9
Songs to Remember: Lollipop - IMFACT, Body - MINO, Strange - MASC, Back Again - KNK, Summer Night (Remix) - GRAY
Never in my life would I thought I would be excited to have the option to teach some dancing as an assignment/project.
I think it's because of the freedom of it, that I get to choose the song and shit. That and, I guess I like dancing now, heh. Anyways, the season's starting off with some nice twisted shit, making things a bit different than other seasons, to mix things up a little. First of all, for Dance, we practiced a new tap-dancing move, we're gonna be learning some new ones tomorrow and the next couple days, then, next week we're probably gonna start doing some choreo for the dance recital which is in May next year.
It does seem a bit early, but considering the teacher's gonna have to be gone for a couple months for maternal leave soon, she's gotta teach us as much as she can before we're gonna be left on our own, making our own choreo, etc, which I do like. Well, for those who want to choreo anyways, I think you can either choose to choreograph others, or be one who will be dancing to people's choreos. Anyways, good shit. After leaving the dance room to go to math, I go on my usual route which is the path passing the P.E locker rooms where Mt shows up out of and we do our "hand-wave" greeting.
Well today, after the greeting, she was like "Hey Drew do you have any grading rubrics on you? If you do can I have 'em?" And so yeah, I hand them over, they're gonna be passed out to people during practice today so people can see what they need to improve on, etc. In the midst of that, a dude shows up, hugs Mt from behind, he's like "Hey" and she was like "Hey." Now in my mind I'm like "Uhh, I'm hoping he's just a friend, a really friendly friend." To be continued, 'till 'bout the end of the episode. Math comes, we do the usual shit, nothing much else to say. Oh yeah, quiz today, short one, only 2-minute time limit. We write derivatives of trigonometric functions, that's it. Freelo.
Break was the usual, Digital Art was so calm and relaxing (or boring) that I had trouble keeping my eyes open. I was essentially finished with my design, so I was just staring at a Google Images results page for Angry Bird designs. Not sure why the teacher's giving us so much time, I don't think people would need this much time making their shit, considering, I've added bits and details into mine's and I still got mine's finished before a lot of other people.
And what's better is that tomorrow the teacher's gonna be on a field trip with the digital business academy people, so, we'll get a substitute, we can't get started on new design shit, I gotta just, wait it out, heh. English, the teacher talked about propositions and vocab for about 45 minutes, the rest of class time was presentations on propositions, like, California propositions. Luckily I don't have to do mine's 'till, probably tomorrow. Just a small lecture, like, 2+ minutes, depending on how complicated the proposition is.
Lunch was the usual, Gov, we actually took a class photo for those wearing pink (since this week is spirit week and today's theme was to dress in your class color, ours being pink). Pretty cool, haven't had one of those in a while, literally. And by "one of those" I mean a class picture, with a teacher and shit. Umm, as for class, we watched ad campaign commercials, talk about persuasion techniques, etc. No work or notes, so that's nice. Assessment on Thursday though, in which, I think I'ma reach a hard pile-up, since for that day, I'll be having a partner-quiz in math and a vocab quiz in Chinese. Also there's Homecoming on Saturday, so, yeah.
And you might be wondering "Dude are you even going?" The answer to that is- to be continued. Probably, tomorrow or something. Either that or Wednesday. Cutting it close, I know, but what can you do. And finally Chinese, where unfortunately I had to write on the board, but fortunately we didn't do shit but recite the book. Nice. Also fortunately (and unfortunately), the extra homework I did over the weekend of which I thought was due today (because it said so on Google Classroom), was not due today, but tomorrow. So, I got not-so-stressful-in-terms-of-work day, but, a pretty stressful weekend, heh.
And finally, the conclusion to episode 1 of season 9 of Precisely Refined. I walked with my buddy Jk from my Chinese class (he's not in it, but our routes cross after 6th period and going to our lockers) to the lockers, as usual. I then walk from the front of the school to the back of the school to, ya know, go home. I remembered that there was KDT practice today (not for me) at the L-circle, so I thought I'd cut by there to see what was just going on. I see that people were discussing their rubrics on their auditions, as I was walking past the railing of the English building, I saw Tu and he was like "Hey, daddy Drew!" Did not expect him to show up, heh.
I went down to just, hang out for a bit, literally, like, a minute. Mt gave me the rubrics for my auditions, saw that they both said I looked angry for my expression so that was something I needed to work on, heh (I probably looked angry because that was my "determination/focus" face that I make when I'm serious on concentrating on something). Unfortunately I kinda got my answer to the thing that occurred earlier in the day while I was there too. That dude that hugged Mt, yeah he was there too, sitting next to her. I was standing there, waiting for Mt to give me my rubrics, and he's right there. And I'm like "So, there's something going on between them, isn't there."
'Cause why else would he be there? No way is that her brother, although he looks old like some dude in college, he appeared earlier in the school day so he probably still goes here, and, why else would he still stay after school and be right next to Mt? That's it, the many hearts of the audience watching the series, broken just like that. Is it a R.I.P? It's definitely a rip in peace. No worried though, there's still options. I waved to Cy today, had a nice talk with Vh (kinda, kinda depressing how she was like "I didn't see the KDT audition acceptance list yet" while I knew for a fact that she didn't get into both of the songs she auditioned for). She did see the list after 4th period, I was, I was cringing on the inside like "Oh, boy." Luckily she took it very well and would even still go to practices on Fridays, just to go, so, that was, that was uplifting, heh.
But yeah, what a season starter. So what's the plan? Well, considering I didn't do any application shit today considering the free time I got and just used that to sleep instead, I'm probably gonna have to start on it SOMETIME. By that I mean, THIS WEEK PLEASE. I think I need to make myself some coffee or something, just some way to avoid that afternoon nap. Or, just dedicate a whole day to work some I get some breathing room to do other shit, like practice some dances or whatever.
Anyways, it's 10:57 PM, uhhh, yeah, finished with work early for once, even though I barely had any work today, still. Alrighty, see ya.
