Week: 11
Songs to Remember: 1 of 1 - SHINee, Strange - MASC,
You never know when there' gonna be a plot twist anymore. The writers are seriously trying to make this series unlike any other, whilst still keeping noticeable similarities from all the series combined.
Apparently my mom's gonna be at my grandmothers for two weeks, or at least, that's what my dad said. I think he meant one week because I'm not sure how two weeks of my dad handling the stuff my mom does for me, like, driving me to school and shit, will go. But I guess for the writers, there's a time for everything, and apparently it's, now.
So as already stated, today was filled with a lot of shit. Dance, we took a vocab test, nothing too special. Teacher performed a tap move, we had to write down what the name of that move was. Math, literally just work on work in class. Break, been the same, just, me meeting up with Jk and then walking to our lockers, and then to our table. However, upon meeting up with Jk, he tells me that "[indiscernable] follow [indiscernable]." I'm like "What?" "Vh, she told me she wanted me to follow her." And although I did hear what he said, I was still like "What?"
And then Vh passes on by, she's walking along with this dude. Not exactly too relevant to the past couple series but uh, to describe him, he's currently in my math class, however we aren't seated next to each other so we don't actually talk. He was with me and my boy Ad during the first KDT practice workshop I attended (sophomore year, when he was a freshman), as well as being there for practice and auditions for KDT last year, although he did not make it through auditions.
Back to the present, I see Vh and him, they were walking side by side. I tell Jk "Hey, that's Vh right there." My eyes basically turn into a pair of magnetized, magnifying binoculars, because I remember my attention being abruptly fixated on Vh's hand. It were holding his hand. And my mind's trying to calculate this, like I was doing multiplication in my head or whatever, except this time it was like "Hand holding equals relationship, but this is Vh we're talking about, and, error, and, error, error." So I was like a 75% on the "they're dating" conclusion. Jk explains to me "She told me 'Blank kissed me and I don't know what to do. Follow me and report back to me on what you see.'"
I see them holding hands, and, Jk just gets right into it and tells me they've already kissed. And it wasn't Vh who initiated it either. So at that point, Jk and I were following from a distance behind, watching them. I told him "This is on some next-level shit right here." Didn't wanna tell him how I felt about all this, mostly because, what good would it do? And I do this shit too much anyways that I end up, not doing anything. I just say things to make myself feel good and have it seem as if I did do it. There's articles and research on this shit you could look up.
Anyways, they uh, they went to go get brunch, Jk and I just walked to our lockers and to our table afterwards. I'm thinking "Unexpected. Very unexpected. Caught me off guard. The writers, they got me good, they are seriously, doing crazy shit this series, really going all out here." Third period comes, I just, drew, listened to music, whatever. English, we finally finish Beowulf, the movie. The climax battle was really, really hardcore, heh. Also the ending was more, mysterious than I thought it would be. Overall it was a nice-ass movie for its time (2007). I give it a 8/10, pretty good movie.
Lunch, umm, just the same old, same old. Gov, we had our uh, mock debate today. Six people had to get in teams of three's, with one person in each being a mock candidate and the other two being their team members, of which were decided a couple days ago, and, debate and be asked questions by us, the audience. The two winning candidate from each party gets to skip the next assessment. Then, the person who wins the next debate and election, between them and the candidate from the other party, gets to skip the next assessment AND, get a free grade boost equivalent to, I don't know, like 1/4 of a letter grade, which is really nice.
I would've done it had I known you didn't have to do much for it. I thought that I probably would not win, and uh, just, receive extra work, for no reward. Just maybe, just because the reward was pretty tempting. Anyways, An, the girl who sits next to me in Gov, wasn't here today so I was given freedom to talk to Cy, who was walking from her usual route. Her 5th period is Economy, which is in the same building as my Gov class, because it's the history class building. She told me 'bout how she won't have her phone for a few days as her parents are going to be sending it to New York for repair and or to get it reset because they think it's broken.
Now I know what you're thinking: NO I'M NOT BEING CUCKED HERE. It does seem ridiculous that somebody's parents think their daughter's phone is messed up and decide to send it to New York where it was made or whatever, to get it reset/ fixed. I have evidence that this is real and that I'm not getting cucked. First of all, she posted an announcement on her Snap story the day before. Second of all, she ain't that kinda person. So, yeah.
I do seem naive, yes, gullible, to some extent, but I know particular people, and she just so happens to be one of those people. Anywho, gonna have to get on that uh, "option" train quick, because shit is moving FAST. I'll explain later. Chinese, nothing too special, just, made a tiny paper book, wrote sentences in it, use vocab, draw, color, etc. After school there was the KDT group photo, for yearbook of course. Made it just in time, sat next to Jb and the rest of the cabinet in the front row. And yeah, took about 2 minutes (for me at least), and uh, I told my mom I was gonna be staying after school for maybe an hour 'cause I thought people would still hang around and whatever afterwards.
I forgot that there was KDT practice today for those in Red Velvet's "Ice Cream Cake," and so, I decided to stay for the full two hours, aka, until 5:00 PM. It felt just like last year, just, sitting there sometimes, on the rugged floor part of the dance room, on my phone, or, watching people practice. Other times I'd be standing, or, conversing, whatever, during break and whatnot. Really did remind of last year. Thinking back on it, holy shit was that a lot of wait time, heh. On days where there were multiple dances being practiced, I had to wait a while before getting to practice, and then only to sit down after the practice for the dance that I was in, was done. Crazy times, naive times.
Now moving onto the fast stuff. DrewN tells the group chat, ya know, with the cast and I, that he had a bomb-ass time (again, not what he exactly said, just, what he said but in my vocabulary and terms), that things went way better than expected, and, he'll tel us more on Monday. Didn't respond to us after that, on, anything really. About an hour or so later, I refresh my Facebook feed and see "In a relationship." Unfortunately, Heart2Heart's song "Facebook Official" (shown to me by my great Gov teacher), applies here.
Yeah I could'a seen this coming, but like, I didn't, like, think it was gonna happen. Or at least so early. Like shit dude, this is the first date. FIRST. And Homecoming does not count, that's, that's different. He said that he was gonna go to the movies with her this Friday, aka today, and I guess it ended up, like what he said, "Better than expected." But yeah, it's, it's hard to grasp. "Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality."
So far there's been, too many, way too many twists to the setting and characters within Precisely Refined. I can see why there's been so many casual episodes, so that the writers can slip in this shit without us expecting it. Well then, it's 1:08 AM, my mom's gonna be heading to the bus to LA in about, seven, eight hours, for one, two weeks. I've gotten the a bit of choreography done, as well as a coupe designs for the KDT apparel (of which, the article of clothing has still yet to be decided). Tomorrow, just gonna be all that, except with some work. See ya.
