Week: 9
Songs to Remember: YOSM - Kanto
So I've been issued a CalGrant form to fill out. It says that I need a California Dream Act ID, I try to sign up, it says I'm not eligible for it. I take a look at this list of financial aid forms and it says that the CalGrant requires the Dream Act ID.
Doing a bit more research, it appears that it's only for those who are or were immigrants, not for U.S citizens, which I am (I was born here in the U.S). So that was a nice waste of time. I'm now doing the FASFA and that shit requires the date of my parents' marriage. Really? Does that really help in determining how much money I'ma get? Really?
But anyways, Dance was just more practice and more steps. Math, that was just work-in-class-day. Also, apparently the partner quiz is on Friday, not tomorrow. Looks like I am losing it after all. Break was whatever, Digital Art was me just writing notes for my proposition speech, of which I didn't get to do today. We just read the rest of Beowulf in class, and then, that was it. It's nice that this class is pretty freelo, I mean, there are people with their heads down, sleeping, and the teacher's not minding that one bit while he's reading to us the book. It's nice that it's freelo, but, there's nobody to communicate with in the class. Like, at least give me people who somewhat know me. I know them, but they don't know me.
Lunch was the usual again. Gov, that was just watching commercials and then giving us some time to start brainstorming commercial ideas, in which, we gotta make a political campaign commercial. Oh yeah, today was safari day for spirit week, in which people either wore camou, animal-pattern-print clothing, or bucket hats, or binocular, or animal onesies. Seriously, who comes up with this stuff, heh. And finally Chinese, in which we just did nothing for the whole period, and uh, 5 minutes before class ends, my teacher gets a call from the office, which was for me to get my stuff and to go there.
My dad texted me earlier in the day saying I go to the office after school, talk or mention this one person, and fill out a form. The way he texted it, it was just hieroglyphics. It didn't matter though, not sure why he made it so urgent as if it were an emergency. I got there, my dad was waiting for me, he got the papers and a section for me to write my social security number and shit. I'm like "Really, that was it, you called me from class and texted me for this shit." I didn't even fill it out over there, we just took it home and my dad filled out that part.
Apparently it was to certify to the social security administration that I was attending school, proof, that I was, or some shit like that. Really random, really random. And so, I'm uh, I got some ideas, that I will hopefully enact tomorrow. It's 10:47 PM, still gotta do Chinese work but that's fine. And yeah, make some plans, plans, plans, and, see ya.
