Week: 10
Songs to Remember: Lonely - Kanto, I'm Not Kidding - SUHO
I don't know what to do. I feel like I could be doing much more, but here I am, waiting, a lot. And sleeping.
For Dance, we actually got started on the choreography for our dance recital. I thought we'd be be wearing our jazz shoes or even just regular shoes, but I'm guess that's not the case since we kept on our tap shoes, and uh, what we've learned so far requires tap-dancing moves. Not sure if we're gonna have to change shoes during the recital or whatever, but uh, it's most likely.
And yeah, the choreo's pretty much what you'd expect. Stand here, move here, tap tap, move move, etc. It's to the song of "Route 66," that one song featured in the Cars soundtrack. Math, umm, basically what you'd expect. Break was what you'd expect, so was Digital Art, so was, well not really. English, we were told some stories, and then got into doing some more of those proposition presentations. The teacher told us this story of how he accidentally set off the school fire alarm one time (or mayber a couple days ago or whatever. In this century, at least).
He was in the P.E weights room, coaching his the school wrestling team. He had his backpack on the wall of the fire alarm and when he picked it up, it got snagged on the fire alarm handle and pulled it outwards a bit. He tried to reset it really carefully, gently pushing it back in so that it'd be flush with the box. He pushed it in, moved his hand away, and the handle just fell down, triggering the alarm, heh. So I thought that was pretty bootleg story. I've said this before but, I really do like stories. Each person tells it differently, it's fun to visualize what they're saying. The teacher actualy encouraged us to come up with some more stories to tell, to drag on class time, heh, otherwise we'd start on the proposition presentations again today.
And you might be saying, "Wow, what a bad teacher, he's not even teaching." I mean, you're always learning aspects about the English language every day, just from talking and shit. If I really wanted to "learn" learn more English and read more books, I'd have taken AP English. But like, this is just regular English, the 4th year of English here at school, of which is mandatory. So, there's not much you can do. And to be honest, I'd much rather have a teacher with character. Gives me something better to relate to, knowing they share some interests and beliefs with me.
Anyways, heh, lunch was the same. Gov, we filmed scenes for our commercial. We actually got a lot of clips in, I still will have to do a lot of editing, but, it's gonna be like 2 minutes in total, so nothing major. I'm just hoping my PC can handle the multiple tracks and layers of edits I'll be doing in Sony Vegas for this. Chinese, we had Chromebooks for the day and, we played a whole bunch of Quizlet Live and Kahoot. It games. Winner of 3 games out of the 7 or so that we played gets a cupcake. As for work, not really any work. Test tomorrow though, but it's not like anybody necessarily studies for it anyhow.
So yeah, I think this weekend's gonna be manageable, so long as I don't take my afternoon naps. Also for the past few days I've gotten about, 5 or 6 hours or sleep at most. This is at least better compared to last year. Well alright, it's 12:24 AM, I still got a long way to go. Can you believe it's already halfway through October already? Crazy. See ya.
