Songs to Remember: All About You - Yuni Wa

Well my dad retired today. He's 63 this year (March 1st) and he's been working in the same company for a long time. Not sure how long, maybe like, 11-12 years or something. I don't know, a long time. It's this company called "Air Liquide", which supplies industrial gas to medical, chemical, and electrical manufacturers (yes I had to get it off of Wikipedia).

I knew it had something to do with like, supplying and stuff. Didn't know specifically what he did, and I never bothered to search up the company 'till now. Anyways, he's retired. Today is/was the last he worked. For working with the company for such a long time, he got a little trophy thing. It's in the display case to the left of me, where I'm typing this right now. Just last week (I think), he asked me to teach him how to play Candy Crush. I'm like "Oh come on dad, you don't wanna do this to yourself", heh.

Also, it ain't actually an April Fools. I'm guessing our school chose this week for spring break to happen so as to avoid having April Fools being on a school-day and all that shenanigans. Pranks don't actually happen all that much. People just are really lazy and it's just a lot of work. Besides practical jokes, April Fools does offer some stuff to do. Like, you can say "I love you" and then if they don't feel the same, just be like "Ayyy, April Fools!". Doesn't work as good as the Hershey's Kisses thing that Yn always does to me, but it works.

Also, been waiting the whole day for URF to come back. And finally. Move speed Skarner has never been better. Alright, think that's enough for today. By that last part was about League. And so, see you tomorrow.

Songs to Remember: Yeah! - Tendencies

Apparently a dude proposing to a girl to prom by bringing a horse is that special. I mean, it's out of the ordinary, but there's been crazier stuff. I don't know why, but that event was (and still is) reported by a lot of news sites, Mercury News, Fox, even Smosh Pit Weekly. I'm like "Really? Is *insert city name* that boring that when something like this happens, every news station and site reports it?"

Anyways, I watched a short video posted on Facebook of this dude that's like, pretty well-known in the Interact community. Like, that youth act thing. He went to this girl's house at 9:00 PM to congratulate her with a potted plant and balloons on being the new district governor. That made re-evaluate my life and see how it's boring and it sucks compared to other people's. But I know deep down... I'm still a lazy f***.

Alright so people who are in those youth act clubs (Key Club, Interact) generally always change their profile picture to a picture-ad to promote like, school events and such. One of my old buddies, Jt I think was her name, who go to that other high school, are having their spirit week this week I guess. Or next week. Not sure. But anyways, one of their themes is Avatar. Like, the last airbender. As in, you dress up to represent your "nation" (class). They get something cool like that, we get salad dressing. Hot damn.

These are just my observations, aight. I have like, nothing to do. Even though I kinda do (unfinished work), I'm procrastinating on that. By that I mean I'm probably gonna finish it on Sunday night or something. Remember when I talked about posts and pictures (including drama) on Facebook that made me laugh or thought differently? Yeah.

Woah, almost forgot to publish this one. Was actually watching Running Man 218 at 1:37 AM. Anyways, see you tomorrow.

Songs to Remember: Practice - Skylar Spence

This is the part where all of those pictures taken during the Key Club charity dinner last night, which I didn't go to. And damn, have I never seen a skirt with overalls before. Did not know that was even a thing.

I honestly don't know what I'm going to do for the next few days really. I just sit in front of my pc, occasioanlly lying down every now and then, and just refresh pages to see if new content pops up. I'm so lazy I don't even watch what I said I was going to watch. I don't even know what to talk about.

Oh hey, I could talk about spirit week. So this past week was spirit week at our school. Basically there's a different theme each day and people dress up according to that theme. There's a count done in each "homeroom" (SSR) for everyone dressing according to the theme. You get points for your class for dressing up (Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, etc). It's usually the Seniors and Juniors who dress up the most. And it's usually the Sophomores and Freshmen who dress up the least. Sometimes, Freshmen dress up even more than the Sophomores, just to show that Sophomores are probably the least-spirited class.

Soooo I forgot what Monday was, Tuesday too, Wednesday was "Hippie" day, where you wear like, Tie-dyed shirts. A lot of people wore just floral headbands and passed it off as it being "Hippie" -ish. There were some red and blue headbands though, and if this were in a not-so-safe neighborhood, this would cause a lot of problems, hehe. Thank goodness for no dress code though. Thursday was "Salad Dressing" day, where you'd dress up as different types of salad dressing. For example, wear all white for ranch dressing, or wear a toga to represent Caesar salad. Which isn't actually a type of dressing, it's a salad, but apparently it passes.

I didn't felt like putting the effort to doing all that (especially for "hippie" day), or I just forgot, but uhh yeah. Oh well, I'll do it next year. That is, if I can still function by the time spirit week comes. I am already regretting all those classes I chose. Anyways, I'm off to watch an episode of Running Man. Or two. It's 12:05. Yn hasn't posted anything on Instagram for a couple of days so she's probably out on vacation or something (usually she posts a couple TVXQ related pictures a day). So, see you tomorrow. Also, people who afk in ranked League matches. *sigh*, especially when it makes a 3v5. Alright see you tomorrow.

Songs to Remember: Practice - Skylar Spence

So I'm not as excited as I should be for Spring Break. Ahh who am I kidding, the amount of sleep I'm getting is amazing. Even when I do go to sleep at 12:00 AM.

Yes, my school is having Spring Break right now. Next week there will be no school, just me, staying at home, doing one of four things: eating, sleeping, League, breathing. And occasionally some other stuff like opening and closing the snack cabinet and seeing if new stuff magically appears.

Today I actually sat and did nothing for a while. I, had nothing to watch really, besides League matches. I didn't think of putting episodes of shows up, perhaps it slipped my mind. No one was on League, I didn't feel like sweating by myself (apparently I sweat a lot when focused on playing League). Oh- and today there was the Key Club/ Interact (I could never remember which one it is) Charity Dinner. You know, those events  hosted at restaurants and part of the proceeds go to a charity or something. Usually setup by clubs at schools. Anyways, a lot of people went to this one more than the dance from a month ago.

Zi went, Cd went, and a whole bunch of others (including the ones who carried me through at the dance) went as well. I was thinking whether to go or not, I mean, now that I think about it, the dance was actually not that long ago. I think it was during the beginning of March probably. I was like "Can I really handle this much sociality within a month?" My answer to that was no unfortunately. But whatevs. And so, I have now ran of s*** to talk about. I'm really drawing a blank here. Ummm. Yeah. I guess I'll start the marathon tonight, even though it's 11:43 PM right now. I think I'll start it with some.... League gameplay videos! Only because Running Man episodes are 30 minutes to an hour long oer episode. And I don't feel like watching anime right now. So, I'll see you tomorrow.

Songs to Remember: CITY - architecture on Tokyo

I wouldn't think that being in a gym of about 1500 students would be that hot. But now, I have. And yes, it was very hot in there.

So, first period. World History. I expected things to go smoothly, relaxing, hopefully watch a documentary or something since it's Friday and next week is spring break. I was wrong. My teacher is white and so us students in her class joke around about it. It's fine 'cause she jokes around about it too. Let's just say we got into discussions about how my teacher's super-hero name would be "The White Wonder" and her catchphrase would be this bootleg animal sound or something because one student's phone notification sound was that. Also, British accents. She likes to do those. And bad dancing.

English, was the usual. Work in the library, Chromebooks, ehhhh. Chemistry, we had a quiz that I was somewhat confident and somewhat scared for. Confident in that the equations would be easy to do ('cause they kinda are), but scared for the lab part. So he handed out the tests and told us the instructions. Quiz, 6 double-replacement equations, lab is to do the lab that we did this whole week but by ourselves to figure out what a mystery solution is, and extra credit is to name the unknown solution. You basically combine solutions to see where it fits on the chart we did. Turned out to be fairly easy.

Today we had a rally, to be more specific, a preview for the battle of the classes tonight. Our school gym is too small to fit the entire student population at once, so there are two previous instead. Some buildings go to first preview, the others (more specifically the P.E classes and some others) go to the second. Me, being in P.E for fourth period, had to go to the second preview. The first one always better 'cause people don't repeat what they just did an hour ago and the reactions and performances are more genuine.

I was hoping we wouldn't have to change because that takes about 5-10 minutes and changing back into our clothes would take another 5-10 minutes, therefore there would be more time for us to do P.E stuff, but no, we still gotta change. After about 25 minutes of P.E, we had to go back and change and go directly to the rally (the gym is like, right next to the locker rooms). The thing is, they don't allow you bring in backpacks ro any baggage for that matter. Their excuse is because there won't be any room. I get it. But I don't get how people fit everything into their lockers. I JUST DON'T GET IT. Only about 40% actually bring their backpacks to their P.E classes, 60% of them somehow manage to fit all their stuff into the tiny P.E lockers. Mine barely fits in. I don't get how people do it. Also, that's what he said. Sorry, couldn't not point it out (yes, double negative).

Alright, so the rally started off fairly bootleg. I walked in, it was loud, music was playing, ripped jeans, skin was showing, hot night, wind was blowing, where you think you're going baby? Hehe, just kidding. I thought it was music playing, actually was a band. Like a student's own personal band, a band he started, not a real professional band or a school one. The first thing (besides the music) that I noticed were the banners. Apparently they're doing a Mario theme this year. The decorations actually looked really really good. They had big hand-made cardboard cutouts of Mario and Toad, mystery blocks and bricks, and coins (and what I what infer as Yoshi eggs) hung across the gym.

But the banners, the only problems was our class banner. For the Juniors, their banner had a drawing of Yoshi on it with the name "Yoshi's Juniors" (their class color is teal). For the seniors, they had "Waluigi's Seniors", and obviously, their class color is purple. Even the freshmen had a better banner than us. They had "Daisy's Freshmen", their class color being orange. I mean, even Daisy. Our class color is pink so you would think "Peach's Sophomores" right? No, we had "Help Me Mario Sophomores". With Peach in a jail cell drawing. Right then and there when I saw it, I thought "Hey, that would useful for the project in English" where we discuss expectations for women and men and such. Would fit right in.

So I sat in our class section of the bleachers. There was a dude playing New Super Mario Bros on the Wii in front of the projector. He obviously has never played it before (or at least, other than a Gameboy) as wasn't holding down B to move around, so instead of running, he was walking everywhere. Very cringy to watch. The real show started, they first did like, "roll-calls", which is to basically hype up everyone, even though people are sweating their balls off and are hungry. Like, it's pretty hard to scream and cheer to respond to "Let's hear it for the Sophomores!" when those conditions are happening. After that, I don't know, bootleg games with the teachers and volunteers. Of which, including that human-version of' "Hungry Hungry Hippos" that was posted on Reddit.

They had the band play a song for a bit. When they sang the first few couple lyrics, all of which was just "Yeah, yeah, yeah". I was like "Oh my god, I'm dying". But then it sounded familiar and I was like "Wait, is this an actual song they wrote? Did they just use the rhythm and s*** from another song but put in their own lyrics?" And then it finally hit me- they were doing a cover of "Grenade" by Bruno Mars. Hehe, thought it sounded familiar. I never really listened to it. Heard parodies of it, not the actual song. And because I don't listen to Bruno Mars.

Anyways, after the bootleg cover, the called down this girl (a senior) 'cause she won a shirt right. I was like "Aight". She came down and it looked like she had to answer a few questions or something to win the shirt. Her back was turned as she was talking to this other person, and from the back of the gym came these dudes with signs. Then I noticed the signs spelled out "Prom?" and I'm like "Oh, OK". She turned around, dude comes out, aaaand the yes. I'm like "Alright, alright, not bad. Guess this stuff actually happens". After that, they had like a couple dance performances by the Hawaiian club (lots, and lots of hip and leg movements. A lot) and the hip hop club.

They definitely like using the song "Shake it off" by Taylor Swift. I thought the lyrics were "Shiggy ah, shiggy ah" all this time, until I asked my cousin about what song that goes like that. He sang "Shake it off, shake it off" and I'm like "Ohhhhhh". Oh- and also, during the rally they planned to do a game or something on this website, Kahoot.it. We use that in Chinese to do class game quizzes and stuff. The thing about it though, that people can put in any username they want. Sooo, yeah. They decided to ditch the whole idea all-together, heh. Not a very good idea on their part.

Then it was lunch, then math (which was just I don't know, lectures) and we received back our quizzes. 51/68, not that great. It's exactly 75%, not someplace I'd like for it to be. Especially on one question on the quiz, where I did 10+10 instead of 10 times 10. That actually would've gotten me 3 points, and I would've been a bit more comfortable with my score. The lecture she gave to the class was actually pretty interesting. For the most part. The one part that I will take into consideration is to "Work hard. Don't work hard in the hopes that colleges choose you, work hard to have the ability to choose them". That reminded me of the girl who graduated from our school last year, who is also the one who started the math tutoring thing at the library.

She had like a 5.0 GPA (probably higher) and so many colleges messaged her and wanted her to go them. She was offered by Berkeley, Davis, Yale, UCLA, etc. Basically every college. So, she chose Harvard, hehe. It proves the point that you don't want colleges to choose you, you want to be able to choose them. Also, she probably got into Harvard for free. 'Cause you know, scholarships. Lots and lots of scholarships... hell, they probably owe her money, heh, that's hard she worked.

So, now here's the weekend. Yes, I did say hi to Yue while on my route (she actually said hi to me 'cause I wasn't paying attention). Yes, I did have a lengthy texting convo with Yn. And yes, I did play some League. Tomorrow- is work, and League. Tonight- is the start of a marathon. Awww yiss. So if you'll excuse me, I gotta spend my time gaining show knowledge.

Songs to Remember: PARTY IN THE CITY WITH FRIENDS AND KIMCHI - EHUGS E抱擁

I'm part of the class of 2017. Our class color is pink. Everyone else gets orange, teal, purple, but us? No, pink. The thing about pink is that not a lot of guys own articles of pink clothing.

Today was a somewhat uniqe day. As in, not everyday that this kinds stuff happens. In first period, World History, we were doing our usual thing, worksheet and discussing and all that. A dude asks to go to the restroom. While he was gone, we (as in the class) could hear like, yelling or screaming outside. Just, loud noises, heh. When he came back, as he opened the door, he was like "There's a horse outside". Not everyday you hear that. So the teacher goes outside, she's like "Oh my gosh, there's a horse". Everyone gets up to look outside as well.

Apparently it was a prom proposal. A prom-posal. A dude came to school on a horse and asked out this girl. This was happening to like, the classroom that was about 20 feet away from ours. Even though only a couple classrooms saw it, our school is fairly small compared to others so the word spread around pretty fast. Rumors spread that the dude got suspended and can't go to prom. Well, guess this event was that popular ('cause nothing really ever happens here in our city), that a fairly popular news site covered this. They confirmed that the dude actually did get suspended, only for two days, but is still allowed to go to prom.

A couple people posted videos of it on Instagram and Twitter. The dude wore a cowboy outfit and had a sign that said "Will you ride with me to prom". He knew he over-stayed a bit 'cause the principal tried to catch him as he was running away on horse-back, heh. The security guards didn't really care much at all, it was actually pretty fun for them to see as of course, nothing happens much at our school or in our city. What's bs is that he got suspended. Like, really? What does suspension even do? "For your actions, you gotta miss 2 days of school". In my opinion, he didn't really do much wrong. I don't even think there's a ruling in the school code or whatever that states you can't bring a horse.

Their reasoning for the suspension is that "students could've gotten hurt from being in the horse's path" or something like that. Well, nobody got hurt. The dude got the horse from his buddy's ranch, the horse was pretty tame, didn't really look like it was gonna go berserk or anything. If it weren't for the media and news, he probably would've been denied the chance to go to prom.

Oh yeah, this week was spirit week. Each day you dress up in a given theme and your class gets points. The points help out in this contest event after-school (paid event) on Friday that's considered "one of the biggest events of the school-year". It's basically a battle of the classes, class of 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, go head to head in challenges and whatnot. There are judges and stuff, lots of pep and school spirit. I've seen pictures of it, never went to it.Anyways, today's theme was "salad dressing" day. Umm, if you wanted to be a caesar salad, wear a toga. If you wanted to be ranch dressing, wear all white, etc. The prom-posal guy wore a cowboy suit 'cause he looked like a rancher, like ranch dressing, hehe. Pretty clever. But really, f***ing salad dressing day. Wh- who comes up with this stuff?

Alright, now for the day. English, we worked on the porject again in the library. I'm sorry, "learning center". Chemistry, we finished the lab finally. So many god damn solutions. P.E, we did cardio. Ehhhhh. Math, ah yes, the quiz. It looked fairly easy, then came the one question I was studying so hard for. It asked "How many committees" as in "how many can be formed of people" and I got a fraction, you can't really have a fraction of a committee, I'm like "F*** did I do it wrong". Checked my work, did exactly as how I remembered it, I'm like "F*** it" and just left it at that. I got 50/165, so I just chose "50" as the amount. I'm probably wrong, but I get it right, I'll scream across the continent.

And finally Chinese, and since it's Thursday, we have Chromebooks to work on the Blendspace group web collage thing like we usually do each lesson. As I was walking my usual route now, today was pretty hot. There were quite a lot of people on the football field and track, with their sports clothing and gym bags. I'm like "Damn, is that what going outside and doing sports look like". Heh, I'm just kidding. But really, I can't imagine myself doing that. Hey, if they offer bowling or billiards, then hell yeah I'd do it. That is some interesting s***. It requires thinking. And it is still physical. You know, ya gotta work out them arms and form and whatnot.

So, today was Thursday. Still not Friday. But oh when the bell rings tomorrow at 2:57 PM, oh yeah, that'll be the time. Also, battle of the classes (not what it's called, but saying it would give out the school mascot) previews tomorrow as a rally. Which means, shorter class periods. Awww yeah. Well, I think that's enough for today, see you tomorrow.

Wednesday, March 25, 2015 "Lean."

Wednesday, March 25, 2015
Week: 32
Songs to Remember: CITY - architecture in tokyo

During Chinese class, the girl sitting next to me asked this one dude "Do you want a kiss" and he looked surprised as f*** right. She pulled out a Hershey's Kiss from her backpack and he was like "Oh, uh thanks". I'm like "Wai- wh- do, do all girls carry around a bag of Hershey's Kisses just so they can do this?"

Anyways, World History, at least we didn't do group work today. We just did a worksheet on war comic art and stuff. Ehhh. Took my allergy medicine in the morning, forgot to take it last night and apparently it doesn't take effect even after 20 minutes, so I was having a miniature Niagara falls going on. So annoying. Thank goodness it stopped for a bit in English while we were in the library to start working on our project. Oh I'm sorry, not library, "learning center". Our school library got remodeled over the summer and it's finally open. Been open since, the beginning of this semester I think. I didn't go much into the old library but from what I remember, it was pretty small. Now, it looks like a museum. Like those tech museums. The chairs, oh my god, the chairs are the best part. They're plastic but high quality plastic. Flexible plastic too. There's these rotator screw thingies on the sides right, so when you lean back, it pushes the bottom a bit towards the front, so it kinda conforms to how much you lean. You gotta try it for yourself, it feels f***ing new age baby. We are the future, heh.

So yeah, our project right now is to just create a chart listing out our ideas and concepts from the movies and stories we watched/read/discussed. We do this on Chronebooks in the library. Pretty straight forward so far. Hopefully we don't do an essay. Please. And then there's chemistry. Today we continued on with the lab, we received these "mystery" solutions and we had to use the chart we made to figure out what the solution is. You place drops down in a line, then use the other base solutions and put a drop of each onto each of the mystery solution drops, then looking at the chart, see the details on the reactions, uhh align with the chart, something, something, too, very, very confusing sounding when explaining. Basically, science.

P.E, thank gos we had a short day today. Math, we're getting into them word problems and after we're done with thus chapter, then it is to Trigonometry. F*** me in the ass. The teacher was thinking of giving us the chapter test on Friday, but along with our other classes, we thought it'd be too much. So, we decides on having it on the Tuesday of next, next week. Tomorrow, Friday, and Monday will all be review so, that's fine with me. And Chinese, we just, uhhh, did the usual really. My group right bow is fine, uhhh, definitely different, aaand I don't mind my group at all. Not bad.

So, math quiz tomorrow, Chemistry quiz on Friday, math teat next next week, English project being worked on for the next four or so days (beginning of the project that is), and hopefully none too many more quizzes or tests from other classes for Friday. Can't wait to sit on my ass for spring break. God, it's gonna be so relaxing. Also, today I did well as Bard in my very first solo queue ranked game. Solo, as in not duo. Surpsingly people were nice, hehe. One thing ya gotta remember is when someone makes a mistake, always put the blame on yourself. 'Cause in League, nobody wants to be cause of their own death, so if s*** goes wrong, just say "That was my bad". And things would go smoother than smooth. Anyways, see you tomorrow.

Tuesday, March 24, 2015 "52-Card Decks."

Week: 32
Songs to Remember: The Hotline - Yuni Wa

I forgot to mention yesterday that Yn tumblr'd me again. Yesterday as I was beginning to talk to her as we were walking, she was like "You wanna kiss?" And of course, I was caught off guard because it's not like I hear it all the time, so I wasn't able to recall her doing that the first time. She pulled out a Hershey's Kiss out of her pocket and gave it to me. I'm like "Okay, do you carry around Hershey's Kisses just to do this to people and f*** with them?" But really, I was like "Hehe, thanks". Seriously, I got tumblr'd again.

So World History, we finally finished the bs group worksheet activity today. Finally. I was struggling to keep my eyes open the whole time. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get to watch a documentary or something. English, not really feeling it right now. A lot of work I gotta do tomorrow for it (the worst part is that it's in a group). But, we did finish the movie today. Pleasantville was, interesting. The ending was: very bad. A lot of people laughed 'cause it, oh right. I'll talk about it in the next paragraph as to not spoil it. Skip the next paragraph if you don't wanna hear about it.

So, a lot of people actually laughed because during thebecause where they show Betty and George sitting on the bench, and then the screen moved to show only Betty, then it came back and it looked like George turned into Mr.Johnson, heh. There were a lot of plot holes, a lot of questions still unexplained. Like, what did they call oranges before they saw color? And why is there a police station and a jail cell when no one ever gets arrested or crimes ever committed? The teacher explained how when Mr.Johnson said something about "You can't just cover it up", it was significant 'cause like, Jen immediately "covered" herself up with a sweater, as to like, not show her body and stuff. But if I remember correctly, Jen was in the house studying and the window was open. The drapes were moving so there was wind coning through, so I thought Jen put on a sweater because it was chilly. Is it really because Mr.Johnson said something about covering stuff up, or was it because she was just cold and what he said had nothing to do with it? I think she was just cold. This is just like that f***ing blue curtain story again.

Anyways, I give the movie an 8/10. Bootleg parts, some comedy, Tobi Maguire, buuuut, lots of plot holes, didn't make sense at some, aaaand a really worrying ending. Would've been better had there been an African american person in there. I mean, come on. Ya can't hire strictly white people ya know? And so, then came chemistry. The usual, as always. We just continues what we did yesterday. P.E, oh look, we finally did cardio after a whole week. Oh look, spring break next week for us. Thank you based god.

Math is fairly easy for now. It's just probability AND, it talks about poker decks. Well, those 52-card decks in general. You know, the ones with the ace of spades, kingsz queens, hearts, that kind of card deck. Some people have had trouble on some of the problems 'cause they don't know the specifics of the 52-card deck. But I do. I was really interested into magic tricks and all that when I was younger. Partly due to me watching episodes of Chris Angel's "Mind Freak" when I was like, 6 or something. During the very early tines when I first experienced using YouTube, one of the types of videos I looked up was card trick videos. You knowz those magic tricks you do with the 52-card decks, with the infamous phrase "Pick a card, any card?" Yeah, those kind. So, these type of questions for math are particularly easy to me 'cause I know all the specifics of the 52-card deck. If you want your child to become good at doing probability questions about 52-card decks, show 'em magic tricks with cards at a young age.

Chinese, was ehhh. We cut out sheets of paper and made bootleg flashcards, then went around and exchanging them with others while saying them, what was supposed to be a version of "Go Fish", I call "Bootleg Go Fish". You just trade a card and say what was on it. After we were done we had to find the people whose cards you got and give 'em back. However, the cards were all only written with our initials on them, so there was some confusions. Not the best activity. And uhh, yeah.

I've been brought upon an interest into this one old anime called "Saiyuki" when I remember watching an epsidoe or two way back when. I looked up the opening and I'm like "Hey, pretty interesting". The animation is pretty well done for being an anime that was around the early 2000's. And uhhh, yeah. For spring break I'm hoping to practice a lot on League, and during the nights I'll be having marathons of Saoyuki, Casshern Sins, Dead man Wonderland, Running Man, and whatever other show that I want to watch but haven't got the time. So, that's all for today it think, see you tomorrow.

Songs to Remember: Lost in Your Eyes - Timecop1983

As Zi, me, and a couple other people were walking from 5th period math to Chinese, there's this dude who doesn't talk very often. Like me basically. Zi's all like "Hey *insert name here*!" and he's like "Hey and she's like "You wanna be my friend" and he's like "Aight". Then Zi's like "You gotta make friends and get more people to talk with all you awkward quiet Sophomores" or something like that. And I'm like "Hey! Well... yeah". She was right, on point. Like, goddamn man.

Sooo, World History. Another group assignment, involving reading something, looking at a couple pictures, and writing down stuff. Ehhhh. English, we're still not finished watching "Pleasantville". Yeah, sorta not for kids. Well, depends on how you look at nude art. But yeah, nice movie so far. There's still a tiny bit of comedy, but as it progressed on, there was less focus on comedy and more on the characters. Which is nice. And umm, yeah, can't wait to see the ending tomorrow.

Chemistry, was the usual. We continued the lab from Friday. A lot more time consuming than I thought. Still got one more row of solutions to go through before my group finishes. Also, I actually talked to Yn today instead of being the lazy ass I usually am, heh. Just talked about the usual "How was your weekend" starter for Mondays. Like, I don't know if she's all that interested into what I'm saying, hell, I'm not even interested in what I'm saying, heh. I don't know, maybe me just talking to her is good enough. She doesn't seem annoyed, she looks like she's listening to what I'm saying. Anyways, it's all good in the hood. Yeah, I... don't ever say that again, Drew. Just don't.

P.E, weights again. Ehhhhh. Thank based Phelps that tomorrow we're finally gonna be able to do cardio, after like, a whole week. Oh, and this is probably our final week for this P.E unit, before we switch. I'm considering badminton, don't think swimming's gonna be my forte. During lunch today, I decides not to tengage in any conversations really. My buddies (well, a couple of em') have these attitudes lately *whispers* and I don't really like that. So I decided it's best to just let it settle out before I add to their continuation of what they're all about. I'd describe it as, how do I put this? Asshole-ish. Maybe. Especially on Skype, which I don't even type anything in there anymore for the fear of being criticized for everything I say. Best not to say anything 'cause they can't keep critizing you for being quiet forever. And 'cause you're not doing anything, so there's nothing for them to b**** about you.

Alright, math. Dude gets 100% again, I get f***ing 85%, a 46/54 because I did some math wrong on my calculator or something. Like, damn man. I'm surprised I got most of em' write. Probably because of the rounding, I don't know. Was kinda scared that I was gonna do s***, but a 46/54, I'll take it. I'll take it. So as Zi, me, and a couple other people were walking to 5th period Chinese, and yeah. *whispers* I don't feel like typing it all out again, and not even copy-pasting either. But yeah, so I was like "Damn". In my mind of course. But she had a point, I could name a lot. Well, some. Including myself. Well I wouldn't be this way if it weren't for, uhhh, social- wait no. What was it? Self-esteem, there ya go.

Chinese, we just did basic stuff for lesson 9, which is about making phone calls in Chinese. The girl sitting next to me was very talkative, and so I had to reciprocate that same kind of talkative. I did not think she was that talkative, nor did I think she would ever act like that, buuut you gotta talk to em' first before ya get to know em'. Common sense, 'course. Anyways, one of the vocabulary words meant "sorry" or something like that right. For the hand gesture, the teacher had it be Super Junior's "Sorry" hand move thing. Then everyone looked at this one dude 'cause apparently the last dude knows everything about K-Pop and Korean and s***. Just because they let their K-Pop interest be known does not mean they are the encyclopedia for every K-Poo thing imaginable. I bet he doesn't even watch K-Pop charts. Just kidding, by the way.

And so, today was ehhhh. I went back onto that music channel to see what other songs were there. Literally, like every song on there was good. Just, some I liked better/ catchier than others. But they all were really good, don't get me wrong. I don't know how to describe the genre. I think maybe electro, J-Pop, New Wave, one of those? Not quite sure what type these songs are called. I also found that I am now quite fond of electronic remixes of 80's Japanese songs. Yeah, I didn't even consider that either. Also the visuals for the music consists of gif images repeated, and now I have an obsession over triangles and the color of fushia pink and banana yellow. Especially when they're blended into a strawberry a banana swirl color. Particularly, in an image of abstract triangular polygon art. You know, those polygon patterns that are all connected, with like, different shades of the same color? Looks pretty cool. Oh and spirit week this week. Not feeling much of the spirit. Feeling more of the sleep of ya know what I mean. Anywho, see you tomorrow.

Songs to Remember: BabyBabyの夢 - TANUKI

I had a dream last night about a dude in a diver's suit in this Tundra biome. It was sorta like a Horror game, with this ghost-ghost going around. It ended with the dude passing out onto this field of snow while the ghost-ghost was transforming. The ghost reminded me of this story I read about the Wendigo, this spirit that people apparently transform into if they're a cannibal. That gave me an idea for making a horror game. It really sounded like a cool story-line to base it off of.

Anyways, nothing much happened today. Not much League, not much work, not much anything really. I did remember about all my cousin's YouTube channels and the videos he uploaded so I decided to watch some of em' again (of course, while in a Skype call with my cousin). He actually forgot about some of the channels and videos he had. Cringy (is that even a word) and fun at the same time.

Oh and I also updated my song collection. Or music list. Or vice versa. Whatever it's called. I actually found a lot of nice songs lately and I'd like to thank YouTube Narnia for that. YouTube Narnia's basically what the Indie or non-mainstream/ unheard music videos are. Like, good-sounding music that not many people talk about, like you don't hear it often, or at all, on radio stations, etc, etc. So besides K-Pop countdown charts for my K-Pop songs, I was watching Celaeon's Twitch raid videos and during the outro (or whatever you call those things. You know those post-video screens where people put their social media info and recent videos as annotations? Yeah those) of one of them, he was playing this song called "Baby Baby の夢" by TANUKI.

It sounded nice, I decided to look it up (and thank the lord that he put the song artist right there on the screen or else I'd have to dig through all the comments using Ctrl+F to find the song name) and damn was it good. It's a bootleg mix of a Japanese song, which I am not familiar with. Bootleg as in good this time. I think the reason why I like it is because I'm into them 80's, 90's sounding songs. As well as present-day songs as well, but, yeah. Anyways, the song was featured on this channel called "Artzie Music" which uploads songs by other not-that-well-known artists. Promoting them, as well as the channel. Win-win. And with that, becomes an entrance to YouTube Narnia. I found songs by other people like Timcop1983. The music sounds similar to the ones used in those old Adult Swim bumpers.

And so I think that wraps up (I first typed "raps" and wondered why that looked wrong) what's been done today. I'll just finish up my work (and start), watch some more videos, then it's off to beddy bye. See you tomorrow.

Songs to Remember: Girls - Se7en

I forgot to mention that yesterday (or maybe Thursday) that as I was going my route through the back of the school, I saw the people who were part of the swim team at the pool. First time I saw anyone actually in there. It looked, very social. It reminded me summer. Also, they looked like they were having a lot of fun, and that were all in their own little community. That, and the thing connecting them all together was the fact that everyone saw each other half-naked and wet.

Anyways, a lot of League today. I try out champions when they're free in a bot match and actually test out their abilities. Because I don't have a large champion pool and I only get to play the cool ones every now and then. Oh and I also was able to finish (and start) reading that story that we were assigned to read for English. About 14 pages long, abe because the teacher forgot to print it out, uploaded it to Google classroom in a PDF file. I opened it up on my PC, and the scans were sideways. Well, I looked up to see if I could rotate it, but that required some other program or whatever and I'm like "F*** this" 'cause I didn't want to download s*** just to rotate a PDF so I can read it. I then opened it on my phone, and just rotated my phone. Never in my life would I think to use my phone while it was upside down.

Also, that charity dinner for Key club is coming up soon, on the 28th. Which is next week. And, Zi's actually coming for once. And Cd and a couple of other old buddies. Ehhhhh. Seeing others being that social makes me depressed. Well, feel depressed. Unless I'm part of it, but uh, yeah. Damn, I just forgot what I was gonna say. Umm, chatted with Em today for a bit on Skype, up until I forgot about the conversation and I'm like "F***". Uhhh, great. Oh- finally remembered what I was gonna say. I remembered this one song that I listened to long ago, back around 2010 or so. I looked up the lyrics (which conisisted of "I like them girls, girls"). Turned up a bunch of bootleg old rap music videos, but not the one I was hoping for.

I searched up more of the lyrics and I finally found it- "Girls" by Se7en. I was surprised that it was by Se7en. All this time I thought it was an American artist because the whole song's in English. Nope, actually sang by K-Pop star. Anyways, I think that's all there is to say for today, I'll see you tomorrow.

Songs to Remember: 99 Red Balloons - Nena

Finally it's a Friday. Finally some well deserved sleep. Hopefully.

World History, is ehhh. Well, not totally ehhh. The teacher played some representative songs about wars and stuff, like "99 Balloons" by Nena, or "We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel. There were some technical difficulties, most of them consisted of trying to find the English version without any type of remix or kareoke or s***. After getting a decent original English version of it (it's a German song" on Spotify, the song kept on pausing. Then other songs would play as well and my teachers like "Alright, who's doing it? I'm not kidding, I just saw the volume slider move by itself". No one was doing anything actually. She was like "Wooh s***, there's some ghosty stuff going on". Then she looked it up and turns out that a Spotify account is connected so if one person pauses it, it pauses elsewhere and whatever. She was using her brother's Spotify account and he just so happens to call. She was like "I'm trying to play for my students some war songs and you're ruining it!" Jokingly of course. And uh, yeah. Very nice songs though. When she first played "99 Red Balloons", it had some really nasty bootleg (not the good kind) mixes in there, so I'm like "Alright, this gotta be a 90's song here". Turns out it's actually an 80's song and it was actually the 12" club mix version of it. But yeah, really bootleg.

But what's really bootleg is the movie "Pleasantville". There were some pretty bootleg scenes we watched today. One of them consisted of firemen not responding to a fire, but to a cat instead. And uh, didn't expect there to be sex scenes in there, but there were. Well, implied sex scenes. And a dude was cleaning the countertops with a rag for an hour or so. Left some indents and marks on that spot. All in all, cool movie so fair.

Chemistry, yeah we got new seats. I was like "Hmm, it'd be really nice to sit next to Yn again". But this time there was no plot twist to help me, instead I get seated next to the same girl but in the back of the column of seats now instead of the front. Like, directly back. And Yn sits about 3 seats in front of her. Today we did a lab, where we mix some solutions and record the color changes. Aqueous solutions, solids, etc. Those. P.E, was ehhhh. Really hate weights now. Oh I'm sorry, "weights/cardio". But now it's really just weights. Math was- ehhh. The teacher had the people who completed the JavaScript Khan Academy lessons present to the class some of the projects. I expected a lot more people to have done it. I was surprised, only about, like 6 people had done it. And theirs weren't up to par as I expected them to be either. And, the teacher only had them present like a couple of the projects. I'm like, "What the f***". Also this dude was like "Can I present a game my friend and I made for extra credit". She allowed him, had some dude played it, he got some points. It was just a simple Unity 2D platformer, but not much of a platformer considering the "hero" had the power of unlimited jumps. Like, what? Also the "boss fight" was just a jump on the boss's head type deal. And the boss just moved left and right using a simple 2-frame Mega-man enemy sprite animation. It made me so frustrated, 'cause I was like "What the f***, I could've made a larger-scale game than this, an even better one". The dude said it took him and his buddy about 4 weeks to make it. I'm like "Oh, really?" What I saw could've probably been made in 2 days at most. I've seen some demo games from those 24-hour game competitions where you make a game in 24-hours and share it with a community. It's just- I never have the motivation to continue making a game. So if there was a reward, maybe a bit more than just 10 points, and if I were granted creation of whatever I wanted to make, then yeah, I'd go for it and continue it.

Anyways, it's just 'cause I've spent many weeks working on barely completes games and stop working 'cause I lose interest in em'. Umm, Chinese. New seats. Zi and I had a nice conversation when walking from math to Chinese. I brought up the subject of new seats today for Chinese and she was like "Oh yeah. It was nice sitting next to you, but now we probably won't be able to anymore". Because of how the teacher changes our seats if we sat next to the same person before. Semester-long only. I'm like "Yeah, it was nice sitting next to your. Very fun". Anyways, she enters the classroom, I follow, she picks a random card, it's 17, I pick a card, pray, and I get 29. I'm like "Alright, 29, 29, where is 29". I find myself sitting in front of my old group member who sat to my right, as well as that one girl who I sat next to, around during the time of right before Christmas break. I'm like "Well, I can't be sitting in the same group as my previous group member, gotta change". And so, the teacher was switching people around, Vh's sitting in the exact same spot, she gets switched. Then it came to us (my group member and I), and the teacher was looking around for a spot to switch one of us. She asked El "El, can you switch over here with *insert group member name here*?" And she's like "Umm, I really like my spot, I don't think it's be good for me to move" or something cheeky like that. I'm like "Ugh, she's at it again. Now I actually want her to sit near me, just to have fun and make her uncomfortable". Only because she makes it uncomfortable, there's nothing wrong with being next to each other. She's just being, *sigh*, should I say it? B****y. There.

So, the teacher then switches me to this spot 2 seats behind me, next to this one girl who's pretty fluent in this Chinese stuff. I guess the teacher really only seats next next to people who know Chinese really well. I'm like "Come on, if I needed help, I'd ask people around me for it. Come on now". Now that I think about it, I was seated next to a lot of people who are fluent in Chinese. Well, that's how it goes then. I think this will be the second to last seating for the year. Ahhh, might as well make it last. As in, talk as much as I can. I actually made a lot of small talk with the girl next to me. I'm very proud of it actually. Experience gained.

Aaand, home. League. Surveys. Music. Eventually work this weekend. Eventually. In the meantime: catching up on shows, gaining more League knowledge, and sleep. Yes, sleep. So, see you tomorrow.

Songs to Remember: Drama - 9Muses

I've had a nicw recent influx of some nice sounding K-Pop songs that I like. That's gonna hold me off for a bit, in the meantime, I'll update my music collection tomorrow maybe.

How I wished today was Friday. This week has been very slow. But I still can't believe there's only like, 45 school days left or something. Damn. Anyways, here's an actual post for once, of a normal day. World History, we, finished watching the Mega-strcutures documentary on the Berlin Wall. Apparently the East Germans didn't think much about planes, heh. They're like "YES, this wall is now impenetrable. We have covered everything. None shall pass!" And then they just see planes flying on through and they're like "Shhiiiiiiiit". But yeah, planes. People also just hid others in their cars and drove on through the border. Also they had the actual people who escaped interviewed and had them tell the story so, that was cool too. Also very recent. The wall came down in like, the 80's or something. Don't quite me on that.

English, we're starting a new movie to watch. God does this help. And I actually mean it. Having a class like this each day does help calm me down, relax, and relieves stress. There's also data being collected, I mean, we still gotta take notes, but you know what I mean. Anyways, I am still hoping that we get to watch Shrek, even though there's not much of women's rights and gender equality in the movies, but ehhh. Shrek is love, Shrek is life. Anyways, the teacher told us she didn't show her class last year this movie 'cause she forgot about it, but now she found it and we're gonna watch it. I was expecting Matilda after seeing the T.V screen channel surfing opening, but no, it's this movie called "Pleasantville". Hmmm, seemed a bit too high quality to be an oldke movie? I wasn't really interested up until they cut to a showing of Tobey Maguire. I then declared the movie a 10/10 right then and there. I was like "Alright. That's it. Just, Tobey f***ing Maguire, hehe. 10/10 already".

Tobey f***ing Maguire. We all know Tobey Maguire from the bootleg 2000's Spiderman movies. This movie was actually made in 1998, so even before his role in Spiderman. Anyways, the movie's about Tobey (character's name is David) and thus show called "Pleasantville". It's this stereotypical old, black-and-white sitcom with a typical family. You know, those old shows. Apparently the show's fairly popular. One day (or night really), this T.V repair-man comes on over, gives Tobey a magical remote, he and his sister fight, they both get sucked into the world of Pleasantville, and then bootleg s*** happens. Probably. We're only about 20 minutes into the movie. That's all I know so far. So far I rate the movie a 10/10. Not just for Tobey Maguire (initially), but because it is f***ing bootleg now in 2015.

In this one scene, Tobey and his sister are fighting over the T.V remote. A Pleasantville marathon's gonna start soon and he was planning to watch it on the living room T.V. His sister has a date coming and wanted to watch an MTV concert broadcast on the living room T.V as well. Tobey says "Why can't you just watch it in your own room?" And his sister replies "Well, I need it in stereo!" or something like that. I'm like "Uhhh, huh". Like, that was just the tip of the iceberg on the level of bootleg so far. After they were fighting for the remote, one let's go as they were both holding onto it, and well, it hits the wall and breaks. Tobey's all like "Look what you've done!" and she's like "Why don't you just turn on the T.V from the T.V buttons?" And he makes the best line in the movie so far. He replies "Because, it's a new T.V and you can only use the remote!" And I'm just like "Wait, how old is this movie again?!" Like, WHAT? I think they have T.V buttons on every single T.V, regardless if it was "new" or not. I mean, come on 1998.

Now, back to the real world. Chemistry, we had a test. Fairly easy. Just 2 pages, 40 multiple choice, tiny bit of equations, that was it. I expected it to be longer, but I'm not complaining. P.E, apparently the swim team's gonna be using the cardio room so we have to go do weights today. Wow. So this whole week, not even one day of cardio. And tomorrow, the schedule is suposoed to be weights. So basically we didn't do cardio for a whole week. Way for it to be weights and cardio. More like, weights, with a cardio day every now and then. Mostly just then. Also, how long have we been going for? Are we changing P.E classes next week? Or do we got another week? We haven't even had our test yet. I think we got one more week. F***.

Math. Quiz was pretty intense. Always check if there's a backside. There was. And yes, I finish it all this time. The thing about this quiz though, was that no one knew for sure if they got the right answer or not. Only because of rounding, and because of calculators. We actually got to use em' for once. Since I don't know, a month ago maybe. A lot of s*** can go wrong 'cause you can input on wrong number, and the whole number's gone to s***. I did actually. Typed in something wrong, only when I checked did I notice. Hopefully I corrected myself. Just hoping for partial credit. I'm sure no one got a 100%. Maybe 99%.

Chinese. Test was ehhh. I screwed up on the true or false section. The text used a lot of words I either forgot, or we haven't learned yet. So, I just guesses. Out of 5, I got 2 right. Those were the first two. I can't believe I was off, even though it was a 50/50 chance. Also, the point values were pretty high, about 5 points per question for that section . So, along with a 6 pointer wrong on another question, I got a 76/100. Damn them high pointers. Anyways, we worked on our online e-portfolios on Chromebooks, aaaand that was it. My teacher told us how one of her doggy is sick and has to get surgery. Apparently it costs about $600 to operate. Damn. Oh and we're changing seats tomorrow. Well, it was nice sitting in front of Vh. Not. It doesn't really matter now where I sit. Hell, for all I care, put El next to me again. See if she asks the teacher to move again, heh. It would at least add a twist for once. It's been a while since a nice plot-twist. Well except for that time I Skyped with Em, which was like, several days ago, but, you get what I mean. Adds excitement.

I also forgot to mention that I've surpassed 400 posts, heh. I'm about 5 posts in or so, of 400. Wow. That's like, at least 400 days of posting something. That's a lot. Did not, ever, in my life, did I expect to be doing something like this. This is turning out pretty cool. Ish. Will probably turn into a cringe-fest 2017 by that time, but uh, hey, it'll be really fun when I read this all in the future. So, I guess I'm gonna go to sleep now. See you tomorrow.

Week: 31
Songs to Remember: Beautiful - KIXS

The best part of the CAHSEE is the extra time you get for finishing like, an hour and a half early to do s***. Other than that, yeah it was pretty easy.

There were about 90 questions in total on the math part. Took only about 30 minutes to finish part one, 30 minutes for part two. Some of the questions did not involve much math really, more of just, common sense. For example, there was a question that asked like "Which is the graph of the translated figure to the right" and so you had to choose the graph that had the triangle moved 2 units to the right. But the choices, man, some of them weren't even triangles. And the last question that I got. It was "If -x=3, what is x?" And I'm like "You cheeky conts, you". Probably my favorite question on the test.

I had an extra hour or so to finish work, and I did. Instead of letting us leave early like usual Wednesdays, today was still scheduled 'till 3:00. Classes were only about 40 minutes long, but for P.E we still had to change. They give us 10 minutes to change, 10 minutes to change back, essentially we only had about 20 minutes of actual workout time. And they still made us change. Math was, math. Chinese was, Chinese. The teacher likes to document us as we progress through the lessons to show us how much we've learned. Today we had to say in front of a camera our name, what we wanted to be, and a generic sentence. All in Chinese of course. Thank goodness I didn't forget on the spot.

Anyways, Yue and I had a nice, semi-long chat about work and s*** just an hour ago. And uh, that imorved my, umm, I don't know, online texting skills. Or something. Social. Media. Anyways, see you tomorrow.

Tuesday, March 17, 2015 "CAHSEE Part Uno: Huge Time."

Week: 31
Songs to Remember: Inner Smile - Texas

I saw these bootleg jokes on Reddit today that got a chuckle outta me. The first one was "What did the Buddhist ask the hotdog vendor? He said 'Make me one with everything'". Then the joke progressed to the hotdog vendor pocketing the Buddhist's $50 bill and not giving him change. So the Buddhist pulls out a gun, hehe, and the next joke was: "The vendor replies, 'No need to get violent. Do you want the fifty back or something valuable I recently found?' The Buddhist replies, 'What did you find?' The vendor holds up a small peppermint chocolate with a hole in the middle, holds it up to the sun until a small light shines through the hole, and says 'A light in mint'." Get it? A light in mint? Enlightenment? F***ing most bootleg joke of the century.

Anyways, I figured that with all the free time after I had finished the test, they allowed us to do homework or other quiet s*** like that, so I was like "Woah s***, I should'a brought my textbook". So I was going my usual route from the back of the school. It was very empty. Thank goodness it wasn't that cold. I thought I'd just hang around or whatever, but I looked at the time and saw one of my buddies (who has the same last name as me), was outside the room we were supposed to report to so I was like "Aight". The teacher had us sit in a certain order, spaced out around the classroom so no peaking and s***. She passed out the test booklets with the scantron sheet thing and we had to listen to the instructor on the loud speaker for the instructions.

Man were they not f***ing specific. They didn't read the s*** exactly as it was written, so some people for lost on whwre to write their name and s***. For example, they said "In the bottom right hand corner, there's a place labeled "Student ID. Please bubble in your ID number there". Abd on our tests, it read "Local Student ID". Like, I don't wanna fill in random s*** and get it all messed up and 'cause problems. Only until I couldn't find another "Student ID" box did I fill it in. I mean, is it that hard to call out section numbers and labels exactly as they are written?  And damn did it take forever to fill in all that s***. We had to make some sorta origami in the shape of a pyramid with hieroglyphics inscribed into it or some s*** (not really, but you get what I mean).

So there was our 30 minutes right there. The first part had only 21 questions, and that got me kinda worried 'cause I'm like "Woah s***, there's less questions than I thought". And, it included an essay, so I'm like "Awww f***". Not 'cause it was gonna be hard or anything, it was just 'cause I wasn't in the mood to write. So after 30 minutes of bootleg instructions, we were finally able to start. The teacher also handed us these bootleg "motivation" cards made by the leadership program students. Mine said "Wiggle all your stress away" or something like that. Didn't really give me motivation though. The card included a Hershey's Kiss and I foolishly put it in my pocket. Don't out chocolate in your pockets, people.

So part one. Of the English portion of the test. Lots of reading. As in, read the passage and answer some s****y questions. One questions talked about this girl sitting up straighter on a bench in a dream where she's being taught by this Native American teacher. It asked "Why did she sit straighter than before?" One of the choices was "Because she was uncomfortable". Now at first I read it wrong and thought it said " comfortable" instead of "uncomfortable". I would've actually picked that one because I thought it meant she was like, comfortable being herself or some deep s*** like that. Good thing I read it correctly after a closer examination and put that because of her understanding of her own personality or some s*** like that. But really, if it were real, I think it would be because she was uncomfortable in that position. I mean, remember the blue curtains example? Why were they blue? BECAUSE THEY WERE F***ING BLUE.

And the essay prompt. It was like "You and your friends won a contest. You and your friends get to go anywhere in the world. Write an essay convincing the judges why you should go there, use details, blah blah, blue f***ing curtains". Yeah, definitely some 8th grade s*** right there. It really said "anywhere in the world". My English teacher during the 2nd ass today after the test, she was like "I would've been a smart-ass and put 'The Moon', hehe". I'm like "Awww s*** man, why didn't I think of that? Damn, now I'm bummed out fam" Disregard that "fam" part. But yeah, I was thinking of places and decided Vietnam, and I was gonna do a sob story about how my parents lived a harsh life there while I lived in a much better lifestyle here in America, so I wanna experience the atmosphere of where they lived for once". Gotta hit em' hard, it is persuasive after all. I was also thinking of complimenting the judges, but I'm like "Nahhh, I'll just leave that out".

Break, 15 minutes, pretty s*** considering it's 4 hours testing time. Next part was just 57 multiple choice questions, with a small survey at the end. I'm like "Oh baby, this is TOO easy". I've been doing a lot of surveys lately on that survey points site so anytime I hear surveys, I'm like "Bring it", hehe. This section wasn't hard really, just tedious. The survey had bootleg questions line "How did you prepare for the CAHSEE?" I circled "I didn't prepare". I was debating whether to do it honestly or not. I was like "Ehhhh, f*** it, why not". On one question, it asked what I would do if I didn't pass the CAHSEE after even senior year. I circled "I don't know what I'd do". Honestly, if I didn't pass it by THAT time, I really wouldn't know what to do. Hell, how would I've passed the SAT even if I couldn't pass the CAHSEE? So really, there's just- I wouldn't even know where to start.

So after that part, it was lunch time, then periods 1, 2, and then 3. Tomorrow (I almost said next day) it'll be the same schedukez except that it'll be periods 4, 5, and 6 instead. World History, we just watched part of a documentary about the Berlin Wall. It Aires on the History channel, called "Mega-sctructures" or some name like that. Apparently the defense on that wall was more than I thought, I thought it was just a really tall concrete wall, with occasional snipers. No, they, they had attack dogs, barbed wire, steel beams, jet fuel (just kidding), sand, tripwires, and watch guards walking around. I'm like "Uhhh, that's kinda more than a wall, more like a barrier".

Anyways, English, we just discussed some s*** about "Bend it like Beckham". Chemistry, we just went over the lab work, aaand yeah. Tomorrow is gonna be the math portion, it's only gonna go up to the 8th grade level, so I expect to fly through the whole thing, time to spare, and finish my work which I did not get to do today. And with that, I'm able to write all this without feeling too tired. And I gotta read some more bootleg stories for English on Thursday. Also apparently all the teachers are giving out tests on Thursday, the day after us sophomores just had a test, 2 days in a row. God damn tests. And don't make me go into that example again of what happens during teacher meetings near the water machine. Anyways, see you tomorrow. Oh and did you know (I didn't even know until this week), that there is only 48 days of school left? My chemistry teacher keeps track on the board, but I never played attention to it. Wow, now that's kinda surprising. So, see you tomorrow.

Week: 31
Songs to Remember: Inner Smile - Texas

Sorry I haven't been posting much stuff in each. Just really tired. Also, allergies. Been opening up the floodgates in one nostril, dry as a desert in the other.

Today we finished the rest of the experiments in Chemistry and watching the movie "Bend It Like Beckham" in English. Wasn't as much explosions as I had anticipated, but hey, not bad. Pretty cool stuff. Chemistry of course.

The movie was utter bootleg. The plot was sorta ehh, kinda s****y really, but the jokes and characters really compensate for that. Also, swear words. I don't think this was ever on Disney channel because of that. The main character's mom is definitely a person to hate for the entire movie. Oh and the music, yeah it's pretty good. Cultural songs, pop, 90's music, all in good music. So even though it was sorts s***, when I look back at the different parts of the movie, it was indeed bootleg. So I give it a 8/10.

So I finally got my calculator fixed. My dude buddy solved it for me. There was this part of this function where instead of "Y", it was supposed to be "Y, subscript 1". Yeah. Pretty f***ing stupid. Anyways, I barely got an understanding of lessons 3 and 4 for Chapter 15, quiz coming soon for em', Chinese test on Thursday, CAHSEE testing tomorrow (big waste of time really), aaaand today I watched a video on Facebook featuring my classmate Am driving. On the freeway. While listening to music. Now that was astonishing, and scary at the same time. Astonishing, as in if like "Wow. If she can do that, maybe I can do that". And scary. Because I am not looking forward to going several tens of miles per hour, with large, heavy, mobile, metal objects speeding around me while making sharp turns and paying attention to speed, signs, lights, directions, and physical objects around me. F***. Anyways, see you tomorrow.

Songs to Remember:

Well I almost forgot to write something. And I'm very tired. Nothing but League today. That was pretty much it. Also my calculator's being a total d*** and continues to show errors when I'm trying to put a best-fit line on my graph. I blame my calculator for being unable to finish (or start) my work. Anyways, see you tomorrow.

Songs to Remember: What's Wrong With Me - Topp Dogg

It's been very cold during early mornings. Even in the house. But then by noon, it becomes hot as f***, and I'm wearing two and a half layers, including a thermal shirt and a jacket. So I'm wondering "Can it please stay hot/cold all day?" Like, right now, it is hot as f***, it's like 76 degrees right now and it's 11:32 PM. The temperature used to be like, 45 degrees at this hour.

Anyways, I still got some work to do for tomorrow. Today, I got a free RP card off of that points for surveys site, bought the Bard bundle, which includes him and his skin for a discounted price. Played him and it was alright, I definitely could've done better. Also people still don't bother to read up information about him. Along with some League, I played some GTA V Heists with my cousin. Only played one mission though, at it seemed fairly repetitive. Also time consuming. They make you play a series of pointless missions like, driving a car to a bank to "scout it out" (by that I mean play a cutscene with dialogue), then drive back to the hideout. The lump sum of money rewarded at the end may seem like a lot, but when you take into account of the time required to do all the small missions, it's actually not better than just, grinding out 10 races. Also, loading times. Took a whole 2 minutes of waiting for the missions success cutscene to play at the end. Just for the cutscene.

Enough about video games, I received a letter in the mail yesterday. It's this program thing where scholars who have been "selected", get to go visit and have lunch for 8 days at different universities. Like Berkeley, Harvard, and Davis. The letter read something like "Hello Drew (also known as insert name here), you have been selected blah blah". Then it mentioned a name that seemed fairly familiar, and at first I thought it was my buddy's name (one of my buddies). But then I looked closer and I was like "Oh wait, that's not his last name". I would've been kinda surprised if they actually listed him, but nope, just a dude who graduated already at my school. Whom I actually do not know. They also listed some other people who've graduated from my school who have taken the program, and I'm like "What the f***, I don't even know these people, what are you trying to say".

Even though I know that the gold medal sticker thing on the letter and thick, paper envelope was just to make it look official and stuff, and to think that this is some unique stuff, I was actually kinda interested. Buuut, then I looked at the paper on how to sign up and whadya know, you had to pay. "Enroll now, just click the full package on the website blah blah". I looked at the prices and it was like, $400 initially, then $1000 for the first payment then $1000 for the second. Like, I'M NOT RICH MOTHERF***ERS. Also, they're offering extra stuff like college credits toward this one unheard of college (like, okay), and extra days to do random s***. Like, it's an 8-day "experience", but there are extra days like the 9th, 10th, 11th day. Those days, they just take you to like, New York and go in the statue or some s***. This whole thing is supposed to make deciding colleges easier or create a more in-depth knowledge on college and s***, and I'm just like "Oh okay. An experience on choosing colleges, starting with step one. Money". Uh huh.

F***ing, stupid programs who get my information and address and send me s*** like this. *sigh*. So, CAHSEE next week, gonna be pretty easy. It supposed to go English on Tuesday, then the math part on Wednesday. Each day, the schedule follows: First part, break, Second part, lunch, class period 1, period 2, period 3. And it's a short day. So classes would be about, 40 minutes each. Wh- why. There's no point. And why do we still have to wake up at 8:00? Hmm?

Alright, enough of my complaining. Uhhh, is there anything else I wanna talk about? Hmm, not really. Also, fun fact: only 2 people (whom I know in real life) have a clue about this whole thing. This whole, posting site. It's me, and my cousin. I accidently sent him an early copy of the Word document I typed up, but that was long ago. During one summer, he saw me a couple times typing up some posts. He mentioned it once, but never really was that interested into finding out. All he really knows is "I have a diary". Anyways, see you tomorrow.

Week: 30
Songs to Remember: When the Moon's Reaching Stars - Persona 3 OST

I wouldn't call this a bad week. I'd still call it usual even though the bad kinda outweighs the good.

Let's just say, alright so in Chemistry we're starting them real reactions. Not really explody (not yet at least), but close. This is what I was expecting for Chemistry, and I'm sorta getting it. Today we didn't really have much time though, we only got to do like, burning Magnesium and swapping Copper with Aluminum in copper chloride. Also, burning Magnesium isn't all tat bright. Yes I was looking directly st it. I think it's because I'm in front of a lit monitor all day. And no, you don't go blind, you just see the image of the light whereever else you look for about, ehh 5 to 10 minutes. Fairly trippy.

And in Chinese, where I have to answer a question in Chinese in front of the whole class. And of course I got a long one, everyone else after me/before me got easy ones with like, 4 character answers. Not even kidding. Took about a minute standing there, though at times it feels a lot longer. Then after me was a dude who didn't really know much Chinese either. He got a fairly easy one, but he struggled with it, same as me. Instead of remaining silent, they were cheering the dude on, laughing at the parts where he pronounces words incorrectly to extreme proportions and therefore making it funny, somehow. And when he got it, yeah, everybody clapped. I guess their humor is different from mine's.

And apparently (apparently is a word I use often in posts), my buddy got an A on the math test (but he has a different teacher) and he's like "Wow, my first A on a math test". Now if a dude (him) who gets C's and B's usually on tests and somehow gets an A on one the hardest test so far this year (I mean, even the people in my class who usually gets A's barely got B's and and lots of C's), there's definitely something wrong. With the test. Why does- why does our test have to be like that and the other class be different? Come on now.

Anyways, I found the secrets to completing surveys on that point site, I'm now up to 1800 points. Now the interest of the amiibo is going away a bit. With the release of the new champion and other practical stuff (heh), I don't know what I'm gonna do with them. Also, Yue. And saying hi to Vh isn't really working, not worrh effort. So, see you tomorrow.

Week: 30
Songs to Remember: What's Wrong With Me - Topp Dogg, When the Moon's Shooting Stars - Persona 3 OST

I don't know what my position is right now for this. For all of this. It goes really quick during one time, then slow and casual for another.

Let's just start it off. World History, boring map. You know how I love maps. That was sarcasm by the way. For English, we're watching another movie (not complaining at all) and it's called "Bend it Like Beckham". It sounded a lot like a Disney movie, but I don't think it is. Also it stars Kiera Knightly (not sure if that's how you spell her name). So far, the movie's about a girl in an Indian family who resides in Europe (Like, Brooklyn or something, forgot) and she wants to play soccer but her mom's being b****y about it. Also, my teacher said the word b**** today while explaining some of the characters. See, now this is how you relate to students. What's the perfect word to describe that character? Oh, uh, b****.

Chemistry was the usual again, more worksheets. P.E, we actually got to do cardio for once after about a week. But first, the teacher had to do a tally vote to see how many people would do swimming since it's going to offered as a unit next time. She asked us to raise our hands for either a definite yes, a maybe, or a definite no. Apparently people couldn't decide and did not raise their hand for even the "maybe" option. Like, what the f***. So a few people said yes, a lot (including me) said maybe, and a few (but more than yes) said no. Also the other units offered next will be badminton, Rugball, and softball. Wow, way to lie about table tennis. I'm either going to be doing swimming, or badminton. Not sure how swimming's gonna go for me if I do decide to do it, and I'm not even sure for badminton either. It's my only chance probably to do swimming since I'll never take P.E again, and we only got about a few more units until the year's over.

Umm, math was the usual. I don't get the s*** we're doing now. It seemed easy for the first 2 lessons, and then for this one, even the answers or work for the questions aren't even online to help me. And the examples on the notes we took in class aren't even similar to the ones in the book. Well f***. I'll just read what's there to see if I could at least get a slight understanding of it. And then finally Chinese. It was the usual. We used the Chromebooks to work on our Blendspaces. And yeah. Right now it's about 11:35 PM. About an hour ago, I was Skyping with an old buddy, Em. You remember her right? She's been active, posting lots of pictures of this dating simulator game on her Instagram. She deiced to say hi to me on Skype, then proceeded to call me.

She's still very, active. Hyper. And she's still kinda surprised that I take her weirdness so well. Must be because of all the memes that I find. Also, she's apparently a bit obsessed with strippers. And this character in her dating simulator game. It's very interesting actually. Oh- and uh, as I was walking my new route after 6th period, Yue walks her way right, and I'm like "Hey" and she's like "Heyyy, it's so nice to see you again" and it was kinda discernable to me so I was just like "Yeah" and that was it. Haven't heard her voice in a while 'cause our hellos are really just silent waves, but uh, yeah. That was cool. Even cooler that I got to chat with a buddy of mine after quite a while. Haven't seen her since the beginning of the semester. Wonder if she knows what's happened between me and El. Ah whatever, best not to bring it up. Anyways, see you tomorrow.

Week: 30
Songs to Remember: Deja Boo - Jonghyun

Apparently it's half-way through week 30 already. Wow. And next week is CAHSEE testing. I read the scheduling for it and it said that the math section only goes up to Algebra I. I can see why this test really is going to be an insult to our intelligence.

Anyways, World History. We did a worksheet today, 'course the teacher just has to assign us book-work (which required our textbooks) today, 'cause it was raining today. My World History book has been in my locker for this entire time, haven't touched it since last year (not even a New Year's joke). But anyways, whatever. Umm, English was just discussions, discussions, discussions. Like, okay. Chemistry, I thought we would be doing a lab today, nope. We're doing double-replacement reaction worksheets, yeah. And we got our tests back today from the solutions test. Got a 56/78. Sssss, was hoping for something higher. Got all the multiple choice right except for like 1 or 2 (worth 1 or 2 points each), just missed like, 3 free-response questions which were like, 3 points each, and that was why it looks lower than it actually is. *sigh*, well, hopefully it won't bring my grade down much. I currently have an A- or so in this class, I'd rather it stay that way. B+ range for chemistry is not something I would like now that I'm in the A-zone.

As for P.E, I'm still in the s****y 89.99% B+ zone. And of course, we did weights today, just like we did on Monday. And Friday. And Wednesday. And 3 days of the week. But seriously, the locker room brings out the ignorance of so many people it's ridiculous. Just spend 10 minutes in the high school boys' locker room and you'll see what I mean. Your IQ drops by the second in there. Aaaand then there's math. We got our tests back today. Sssssss, yeah, thought I did better, apparently not. Nobody got a 100%, even the ones who do get 100%'s or 90%'s regularly. Zi even got a 75% on this one. Now that's when I know it's bad. Me, I got a 50/73. Sssss, yeah. Was not expecting that. My whole front page was marked in red, I got most of the stuff right on the 2ns page, and on the third page, apparently my deducting skills in the multiple choice department was off because I got both the multiple choice questions wrong. And partly the graph too. Total was a 56%. And not just me. Everybody got s*** scores. I heard one dude got a 40. Like, man. The teacher said that for the front page, it was directly from the homework and she's like "I just changed the numbers a bit, I thought this would be a freebie page, guess not" and I'm just like "No, just no. Please don't change the numbers, it makes the answers look wonky and people redo them because of that. Just use the even problems from the book or something, but don't change the numbers".

Hopefully it won't bring my current B+ down too much. I'd like it to stay where it is now that I've climbed my way out of the deep C hole. And for Chinese. We just did the usual stuff with reading the textbook aloud with hand signs. Then people went up in pairs to read from the textbook. The homework for today is to do a recording of oursleves reading the text, and since it's all online, I can't exactly do it in class. So I just sat there. And listened. While doing the usual handsigns and whatever. Somehow we got into storytime 'cause the teacher told is about how one of her past students was like "Hey Ms.K, guess what my friend got me for my birthday?" and the dude opened a box. In it was a G-string. I mean, I was just like "Alright, okay, now this is why I still look forward to this class everyday". I think we were talking about the Chinese characters for the country "Japan", and our handsigns was to stomp the ground with our feet, mimicking sumo wrestlers. And of course sumo wrestlers wear "G-strings" and the teacher mentioned that, and I was, "Okay". Bootleg story though. She was like "Oh you teenagers, you teenagers are really... interesting". Yeah, yeah we are.

The next story she told was how she read this one article or something about how this dude who was cooking rice at an airport in Hong Kong got arrested. Just 'cause he was cooking rice. He was a dude who bought stuff from other countries, then brings em' back to his hometown to sell in his little shop. He spent most of his money on the merchandise and his flight was canceled, so he had to spend the night at the airport. Good thing he had on himself a rice cooker, and rice. I'm like "Okay". But seriously, who brings around a rice cooker and rice with them? "Well for emergencies like this of course". Yeah, of course. So, he was to either pay a fine, or spend 10 days in jail. A news place covered the story, got fame and popularity for being the ones to cover the story, paid the dude's fines and got him a hotel to stay at for a bit. Lesson learned people: always carry around a rice cooker and spare rice.

Alright, so I gained about 800 points on points2shop today because of this amiibo-craze going over me, I want an amiibo. The one I want costs $27 on amazon, or 2700 points. I'm already 1/3 of the way there. Hoping to order it by Friday. Also, saying hi to Yue when going the new route. So, see you tomorrow.

Week: 30
Songs to Remember: Relationship Breakup - Dandi, Snow Kiss - Teen Top, Deja Boo - Jonghyun

Even when I finish all my work (and barely any work for that matter), I still procrastinate. Also (I forgot), happy birthday to my cousin, Dn (I think that's the name for her). She's had a tough time since her father's gone, but I wish her the best of lick and a successful career in doing what she loves (drawing btw). Yeah, her birthday was about, one or two days ago.

Anyways, finally a real post after a tiny hiatus. Starting off with World History. We had a test today, 20 questions multiple choice, 2 free-response, fairly easy. No notes for the multiple choice, but notes for the free-response. I wished she told us that yesterday (or if she did, I wished I remembered that she said it), otherwise I wouldn't have spent 10 minutes last night remembering causes for WW2. Always remember, treaty of Versailles, Germany, appeasement, and the League of Nations. And then there was English. We finishes the movie, "Yentl", today, so if you don't wanna see spoilers, skip the next paragraph.

Alright, so "Yentl". I was surprised to find out that this movie came out in the 1980's. Also, Barbra Streisand, hehe. Can't believe she was the director and producer of it. Like seriously, the credits were just "Directed by Barbra Streisand, Producers, Barbra Streisand, Starring Barbra Streisand". Now for the story: it was alright. It's about a girl who dresses up like a boy to pursue studies in this religious thing after her father dies. A lot of hypocrites in the movie like Avigdor. Umm, the singing was not really necessary, was just awkward at times. Either make it all singing, or just leave it out. But I gotta say, there were some bootleg scenes, like when Yentl was asked "Lemon or milk?" for her tea. She replies "YES". Best answer for every question. Also, bootleg sex scene. Yentl and Hadass (who was supposed to be Avigdor's fiance) get drunk and throw pillows around the room. Hadass's parents walk by, hear a ton of laughter, see stuff flying around from outside the room and was like "You tell me" to his wife. He expects grandsons and granddaughters so, he was all just "Well, looks like they're definitely having at it". Bootleg. Scene.

Alright, back to real stuff. Umm, yeah, that was English. Chemistry was the usual. We had a sub today, it was none other than that dude, Mr.K, who sub's regularly at our school. Cool dude. Uhh, we just did a worksheet on reactions again, you know, like combustion reactions, displacements, synthesis, etc. After the bell rang, I was still packing up my stuff, Mr.K said something about the weather and I just thought "Wait, who? Me? Oh he's talking to me" so I respond with "Uhh yeah, these mornings are fairly colder now" PR something like that. I guess the weather's a good topic too.

Today, there was a scheduled earthquake drill for 4th period. Except our teacher didn't tell us about it, so I brought my clothes bag for nothing today (just a cinch bag actually). We just sat at the football field for the whole period. I was like "Really? Ya'll just had to do it today, which was the day we're supposed to do cardio. Now it's gonna be more weights than cardio". Luckily, it gave me time to study some more for the math test. And, I gotta say, it did make a difference those extra, what? 25 minutes maybe? Not bad.

And then, math. Yes, the biggie test. I asked a couple of my buddies how they did on it and one of them was like "It was pretty long, longer than usual, I skipped most of the problems, then went back to them and I guessed on a couple". So I'm just like "F***". The other was like "It was pretty easy. Just focus on logs and natural logs". So I'm like "Okay". Since today was Tuesday, we had SSR (basically homeroom, except at the beginning of 5th period). That gave me some extra time to study, especially on the logs stuff to make sure I'm doing it right, and that helped ALOT. Th teacher passed out the tests and right after I write my name, I look at the first page. The problems did not look like the ones from our work. I'm like "Aight then. F***".

I did like, one on the front page where I could figure out, then I just skipped the whole front page. Went to the 2nd, was a bit easier, did most of them, skipped the rest, then went to the 3rd page. Saw a graph, some multiple choice, and an inverse function. I'm like "Aight". Did those, skipped some, went back to 2nd, did some of those, went to the front page again, did those, then went back to the 3rd page and did the inverse function problem. I graph it, then look at the problem again. I wrote it wrong. I put the minus sign too close to the one, thinking that it's part of the denominator I'm dealing with instead of the lone 1. So I f***ed up the graph, erased, redid it. Went back to the rest, finished the ones I skipped, started on the word problem, wondering if I did it right, hopefully I did it right, and right now, I'm hoping for the partial credit. At least, 80% please. At least.

So yeah, probably the hardest test so far in math for me. Besides that one test with the bootleg common core s*** or whatever. That was just plain bs. Anyways, Chinese. Nope, not over yet for the tests and quizzes. Vocabulary quiz, and this time, I was prepared. I studied last night, covered the definitions and pronunciation, read over the words, and memorized the characters and definitions. On the quiz though, I remembered a majorii of the words. Wasn't what I expected the words to be on it though. It always a happens. But, I did end up with a 16/20 (the quiz had a total of 10 words, 2 points each). Not bad for these types of quizzes. And then uh, I finished work in class, read some more stuff, doing the lesson recording tomorrow (where you gotta record yourself reading the textbook), and uh, yeah.

Today I actually saw Yue as I was walking a different route going to the back of the school. I was waving high and she didn't notice me until a couple seconds after and she had like an "Oh hey!" expression on her face. And also a smile. Yes it was contagious. And yes, I remember every smile I see. Still wondering when we're gonna do that photoshoot for social media. Anyways, a bit more updates soon, bootleg stories, hobbies, work, etc. I'll talk about it when my hand recovers from aching in this position of holding my phone for about an hour straight. See you tomorrow.

Songs to Remember: Know Yourself - Drake

After seeing a bunch of Smash Bros streamers (shofu, vgbclogic), I got all hyped up on Smash Bros now, particularly the little amiibo figures. I don't own any, nor do I have a Wii, but they do intrigue and I do want one.

Anyways, people were talking about how this one kid who was in my chem teacher's class got cheating/ doing homework from another class in his class, so he proceeded to burn it, then send the ashes in a bag to the kid's teacher, which was my math teacher. She received it during our period, and I was like "Well, looks like it's true".

Also, we're not done watching "Yentl" yet for English. Still got tomorrow. Speaking of today, I actually spoke to Yn after about, I don't know, a month or so. Maybe two. Can you believe it's already March? This morning was dark as hell. I looked out the windows and I'm like "Nuh uh, this is still night. School system, what are you trying to pull?"

And so, here I am trying to get some studying in. I got two tests and a quiz tomorrow. One big, one somewhat big, and the quiz is in a foreign language. But damn is that test big. Anyways, I'll catch up on updates and stuff I missed tomorrow hopefully. And god damn how I wished today was Tuesday.

Songs to Remember: Riptide - Vance Joy

Ehhhh. I, don't even know what to write about. It's really just the usual.

But there was this one cool thing that happened. Yesterday, I was listening to the Indie Dance radio station on Pandora while I was working right. There was this cool song, "Riptide" by Vance Joy that played. Just discovered it yesterday. Well, today it was still stuck in my head. I downloaded it and added it to my music library. Today, as my parents and I were at a restaurant for dinner, the restaurant was playing this bootleg radio station or something. It was first playing "Numb" by Linkin Park *shudders*, then "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift.

And then they played this song, it sounded kinda like "Riptide". Then came the hook, and I was like "Oh my god, I do have powers". Heh, what a weird coincidence right. And it was an Asian restaurant too; I didn't really expect them to be playing this kind of music. Then came "Boom Clap" by Charlie XCX, and then Lorde's "Royals", so maybe Indie radio or something.

Umm, did some League, not very proud of it. I also finished half my work, so, that's fine. Tomorrow I'm gonna have to go buy a graphing calculator because we're going to be doing some s*** with it. I'm sure there are graphing applications online, but you know, math. So there's that. Umm, there's this one person I've been occasionally interacting with on ask.fm. Just for fun, didn't really expect this all. I saw a comment on this YouTube music video for "Cha Ga Wa" for F.Cuz (K-Pop song). Went on the person's profile, see that they put their ask.fm link on there decided to have some fun, and well, here it is. I usually just ask "Hello, how are you doing" and s*** like once every week or so. Person goes by EST, so, usually they answer my questions at night.

Also, I'm getting pretty close to 400 posts. Looking at the number, that's uh, that's a lot of posts. I'm like "Damn, this is my greatest achievement so far". I've been considering having a question right, and having other people answer it with their own opinion, then post em' here (as well as my usual posts), as a sort of, collection of uh, opinions I guess. Or something. Something similar to that. I mean, look at Brandon's project, called " Humans of New York". You probably heard of it. Or not. Anyways, he takes pictures of people, he asks them questions or have them tell stories or something, then posts a picture as well as a quote from them on his Facebook page. He has a large collection of em' already, with like, a quarter-million likes per post. He's even got a kid to meet the president of the United States because of this (and this was pretty recent). Pretty cool.

So I'm hoping I could do something like that, I don't know. Maybe if I get off my ass sometime, I will. Anyways, see you tomorrow. Got a bit carried away there.

Songs to Remember: As Above, So Below (Justice Remix) - Klaxons

Whenever it feels like nothing's happening, something will happen.

I'll start off the with day. So, World History, we got to uh, well, finish that documentary on the Japanese nuking. Yeah, pretty uh, pretty disturbing. Although, it did make it seem like new broadcasts back in the day were a lot more cheerful. Like seriously, the way the uh, what do you call them? News reporter? Yeah those dudes. They sounded very uh, informational. Or something. You know what I mean.

So far, we're about 50 or so minutes into the "Yentl" movie. Not bad, but, ehhhh. Though there was anude scene. Well semi-dude. People didn't expect it. Neither did I. Not bad. But, it was dudes who were semi-naked. And umm, we got to see all their booties so, that was, something. Umm, Chemistry. Again, nothing too exciting. Oh wait, except this time. We're currently on uh, what is it? I have no idea. Oh right- chemical reactions. So, people were falling asleep and he was all like "Luckily, I have a demonstration that'll probably wake you all up". He did this, "Whoosh" experiment thing, forgot what it was called. He started off by pouring 30 milliliters of rubbing alcohol into one of those water containers for those water machines, he took an empty one and poured it inside it, then rolling it around, making sure the inside was well covered.

After that, he took a match, lit it, waited a few seconds to get the match to start lighting itself (for a bigger flame), and dropped it into the container. And "whoosh", a fireball shot out of the water container, blew off the ceiling tile right above it. Very unexpected. I was like "Alright, alright, now this was what I wanted to see in Chemistry". The ceiling tile has a hole in it, and if I remember correctly, that hole (about one foot long in diameter) was there in that ceiling tile since the beginning of year. Well, now I know why that's there. Also, he was talking about the effects of hydrogen peroxide and comparing it to rubbing alcohol. He was like "See here *pours hydrogen peroxide onto forearm*, nothing happens, because there's no blood. Now if I make an incision here *pulls out a knife, looks like he's about to actually do it*" and everyone's like "NO!" And the dude's just like "Aha! You guys thought I'd actually do it?! Lel" and were all like "Mhmm, yeah actually". After seeing how he acts this past school year so far, who wouldn't think that? In a good way by the way.

P.E. I don't like weights. Next. Math. Lots of reviewing for the next chapter test which is on Tuesday. Oh Logarithms. Anyways, I walked into the classroom today and I saw Zi sitting in my seat. I walk over there and she had this big smile on her face aaand after a couple days of not smiling, that really made me smile, heh. It made me smile naturally actually. I guess smiles are contagious. To an extent. And so, uhh, yeah, math. Chinese, weeee, just, did the usual stuff. I don't know how long it was since we switched seats (maybe it was on Friday), but it's taking me a while to understand this lesson's vocabulary. A lot of the words sound the same.

And, after class ends, I guess Vh always walks with that one dude now. I overheard her (like, I'm walking and they're just within the proximity for me to hear) talk about like "I want someone who could talk back" and the dude replies "Talk back?" And I'm just thinking like "Talk? Back? Talking?". So, that's got stuff thinking. Not gonna pay too much attention to it (oh who am I kidding, I'm gonna try to pay more attention to smiling, heying, and talking next week). And uh, yeah. Got some work to do over the weekend, which includes reading some more boring stories, some equation balancing, math, review, studying, and maybe some coding.

And also, apparently I didn't disable all my social media and ways to contact me. I forgot about my text messages. I cannot believe he went and texted me "Let's play some League home". Yeah. But whatever. 2/3/27, I replay lots of scenes of videos, looking over exactly what's happening. And no that's not a date, it's a match score. And yes, see you tomorrow.
