Week: 25
Songs to Remember: Orange Orange - Asterisk
When I thought about going high school, I expected to experience, ehh, hanging out with my buddies after school, doing homework or whatever. Just having the time to ourselves ya know? Today I kinda felt that experience. Now if it was only night time, it would've been even better.
World History, notes, ehh. English, we start writing our editorials today, woohoo. Not as hard as I thought it wa gonna be. My classmate asked if we could do this at home, the teacher said no, that she wanted us to utilize classtime for it, which is, completely fine with me. Anything done at school is better than at home. And just wait, in about, ehhh 8 or so months, I'ma regret sating that. But right now, I wanna have as much fun as I can before I'll be put into voluntary torture for a year. AP classes.
Chemistry test was easy, I didn't even have to use my notes sheet. Apparently it took people a lot longer than expected, so the teacher dude was like "It's alright if you don't finish, I'll give you 15 minutes tomorrow in class for it". And I'm like " Seriously? Okay, okay. Now I actually wished I was in Honors Chemistry. A small test like this (about 85% multiple choice in fact) requires 2 days for people to finish? Come on now. You don't even need to write things down, just plug in the answers and see if it checks the question. For this test, it's much faster to do that, rather than do stuff individually. Only for this specific test though. Others, ehhh, may or may not work out as well.
P.E, table tennis, I move up, move down again. Along with my now-buddy, uhhh, Hd? Yeah, let's call her that. Probably after this week, uhhh, we'll, do whatever I guess. Maybe another singles tournament. It's only been about 4 weeks so far for P.E. So, yeah. Uhhh, math. The concepts for right now, and I mean now, these first 4 lessons, I do understand. Also, I write down hard notes, rather than bad ones from last semester. I want to start treating this class like if it was an even more advanced class, so when I get into Honors Pre-Cal (which I did get signed), I can expect the worst, and be somewhat prepared for it. Right now we're graphing stuff like parabolas, foci, directrix, hyperbola, and Ebola (just kidding. But seriously, there's a dude that said that). Uhhh, quiz on Friday for lessons 1 to 3. Feeling pretty confident, inb4 she uses imaginary numbers like "twour" or "feven", heh.
Chinese class, we did this thing called 007 secret exchange, where we write down a sentence using a vobaulary word on a strip of whiteboard (like a thin rectangular mini whiteboard) and go around asking people the question we wrote down. If they answer correctly, we write their initial on the back and give it to them. Then they do theirs to you, then you have to go around and find another person and exchange that card, etc, etc, unt everyone has 5 initials on the back of their card they're holding. Not very fun when you're the last few people. Then after everyone hands em' in, the teacher calls up a random person (usually someone whose initial is on the back of the card) and have them answer the question. She does this for everyone, and I was hoping she didn't call me. Staring at the clock, I was lucky that I got an easy one. Right before the belk rang too.
So I met up with my best buddy and my other buddy who plays CS:GO and we went around the school to get signatures for our AP classes. Get this: this one teacher wouldn't want to sign anything until after February break. Which is like, 2 weeks from now or something. She's right there, all she needs is to sign it. Nope, she's too lazy to write down her name in cursive three times. Heh. Anyways, we went to other classrooms aaand we forgot it was Wednesday. Teacher's have meetings on Wednesdays. Welp, guess we got nothing to do for an hour. My buddies' swim practice doesn't start until 3:15 PM. It was 2:10 PM. Sooo, we just did homework, talk about schedules and other s*** with another buddy of ours (the one who moves up and down with me in table tennis) while sitting at the tables that are "reserved" for the juniors and seniors. I was like "Hey, this is gonna be us next year". But then I was like "Wow, now this is peaceful. An almost empty facility, warm breeze, conversation, doing homework. Hell f***ing yeah". That was an experience of what is to come. I'm expecting to do that everyday next year. The level of calm could not match that. It was so relaxing. Damn that breeze.
So anyways, schedules are due tomorrow. Hopefully I didn't f*** anything up. Oh wells. Also, I worked on this blendspace lesson for our group in Chinese (with Zi, me, and this other dude). Aaand we actually talked on Facebook, Zi and I. 'Course, nothing more, I know I know. But it was alright. I didn't expect her to use Facebook often. Aaand she doesn't. Also she says goodnight. Well, you know my response to that one. "Goodnight, don't let the bedbugs bite". See you tomorrow.
