Songs to Remember: Relation Break - Dandi, Pretty - Infinite H, Go Nowhere - Infinite H, It Girl - Homme, Just Ain't Gonna Work Out - Mayer Hawthorne

I had a thought about what I did for El for Valentine's last year. Then I remembered "Oh right, we weren't even in a class together!"

So sadly, the dude that works at the barber shop I go to wasn't working today, soo, that means I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow. Okay. And now, for current events. Back to you Drew.

Thank you, Drew. So I spent Valentine's day indoors. As in, stayed home. All day. Playing (grinding) on the same game over and over again, all day, everyday. Of course not without checks on social media. And yeah, pictures of people at the Winter Ball. And, some bootleg ass Valentine's day cards. "I've got my ion you". F***ing killed me. "I still prefer "I think you're Fedorable" with Fedora tipping.

I've encountered a lot of new songs this past week. Nicely fills up my playlists. My dad was playing this one song, it was an oldie song, and with the use of the SoundHound app, I found out it was "I Wonder Why" by Dion and the Belmonts. Keep in my mind my dad was born in '52. Still, I like the music. Better than most of the music being produced today. 2014 in my opinion was a horrible year for music. Daniel Kim's "Pop Danthology 2014" didn't turn out great in all honesty. And after listening to that oldie song, I remembered this one song from the commercial trailer of this one movie at my grandmother's house years ago. Yeah, dates pretty far back. After writing this, I recognized how specific it was, hehe.

I remembered a distinct line from the trailer. I also remembered how I saw the book during 6th grade from the classroom library. So yeah, based on a book. The distinct line was "Are you freaking mental (menial)?" said by a dude. I've tried searching for the trailer and movie for so long and I never found it. Until today. From the trailer, I specifically remember the dude pronouncing it "Are you freaking menjal?" rather than "Are you freaking mental?" I've searched "menjal" (or a variant spelling) all this time and never "mental" this whole time. It just never occurred to me until today, okay? Searched it up, whadya know, I found the movie.

"Flipped" is the movie name. I remember a dude riding a bike with an oldie song playing and yep, there it was in the trailer, in the first couple seconds. Finally found the song. "Pretty Little Angel Eye" by Curtis Lee. But seriously, watch the trailer. The dude pronounces "mental" like "menjal". If it weren't for this, I would've found this sooner. Well, at least that's one thing off my shoulder. And Valentine's day. I remembered about this one song I had in my music collection but forgot the name. Remembered the lyrics though. "Just Ain't Gonna Work Out" by Mayer Hawthorne. I just have a good memory. But, that's only if something interests me or keeps my attention. Melodies, they count.

Also, 2010! The movie came out in 2010. 5 years, and I still remember s***. And it'll only keep on coming, especially next next week when I'll hopefully get to meet up with an old somebody I used to know, whom I never made contact with for about, 6 years now. Yes, plenty of pictures will be taken. Lots of stories will be told. And yes, lots of s*** will be written about. So, I hope you've had an interesting Valentine's day. Valentine's is actually a cool day to observe sociality. See how people interact. Well, 'course I've already sorta seems those interactions yesterday at school, but uh, you know what I'm talking 'bout. See you tomorrow.
