Week: 26
Songs to Remember: Get By - Delta Heavy
At least I got a piece of work done today. That makes up for the loss of time in doing Trove and League, hehe.
So I waited about a half hour at the hair salon (barber shop, etc). It was pretty crowded. While waiting, I was listening to them play "Somebody I Used to Know" by Gotye. I was like "Oh my god, seriously? The day after Valentine's Day? TOO SOON". Bootleg. Anyways, got my hair a bit shorter than I'd like, but at least I got the week for it to grow back a bit.
Besides Trove, getting a haircut, and r-watching Barely Political's "Facebook Parenting: Continued" parody, I played a couple League games with my buddies. Played as Zyra support in one game with my Vayne lane buddy. We won. I distanced the lane opponents with my plants, try couldn't farm, we snowballed, etc. Zyra's pretty fun. I never really get to play her 'cause I don't have her as a champion. And, next game, I played as Zilean (still waiting for that re-kit) with my lane buddy Vayne again. The other team was a troll comp, going 5-man smite and a revive/smite Karthus with no ADC. Yeah, we won.
The next game, we were up against a real team, and just out of curiosity (and because of a dude's name on the other team. His name was "Score"), I checked out his ranking. Platinum II in solo queue, that's fair. Diamond II in 5v5, ehhh, not bad. CHALLENGER 1 in 3v3. Okay. But like seriously, I was like "Dudes, this dude's CHALLENGER LEVEL". Holy s***, did we try. Hard. We ultimately lost though. We had more kills, won most team fights, but lost. All because of grouping, aaaand a Fizz. This dude on our team kept wandering around and getting caught. Our Katharina was 14-1 at one point, but it didn't matter because our Fizz lost to a Brand. Ah well. The Score dude carried hard on their team, the rest of them were like Bronze level. I did good though, got a lot of training off that.
I did say that this blog thingy would be part gaming. Well, here it is. And, I'm hopefully gonna get to catch up on some Running Man during this week. Woohoo! Aaaand get started on making a s****y JavaScript program. Function update, see you tomorrow.
