Week: Summer

I just remembered what I wanted to talk about YESTERDAY. And it was about my experience and lessons learned back during my first few days of my freshman year.
"Sucking at something is the first step towards being sort of good at something", a quote from Jake the Dog in Adventure Time, voiced by John DiMaggio. I really should not take advice from a talking cartoon dog, but this is actually sorta inspiring, knowing that I suck at everything. I mean, what am I good at? I guess I'm good at being awkward if that's even something to be proud of but, I'm not sure what I'm actually good at.
So it completely skipped my mind, what I wanted to talk about today. I guess I could talk preparation for registration for tomorrow. Oh wait, I already talked about those videos by Patrick Hurley. Huh. Well, I'm not sure what to talk about. Uhhh, well I played some "ZMR" today with my cousins. I also played a couple League of Legends matches with my friends. Pretty fun I guess.
Uuhhh, I mean today I practiced smiling in front of a mirror so I could smile the way I want to tomorrow. OOOOHHH, okay. I just read the first couple sentences of this post that I had written yesterday and I'm like "Oooohh, okay, I remember what I wanted to talk about".
If you didn't know (or didn't read my epilogue, I understand, lots of cringe-worthy stuff in it), in the first week of freshman year, I said hi to a girl for the first time in about, ever. The first conversation was insanely awkward and the last one was probably even worse, if not as bad. After that incident, I was kinda done for about... a few weeks. Now that I had experienced that (and hopefully I'll never experience it ever again), I know what NOT to do this time.
And uh, yeah. I'm kinda drawing blanks here so I guess I'll see you tomorrow, don't worry, there'll be a lot of things to talk about tomorrow, I'm expecting it.
