Week: 38
Songs to Remember: Halogen - Neon Indian
I don't know what to think about all this. I got 2 free periods now, which is great. I also found out my score of what I got for the AP Bio final (pre-curve). I also got another essay tomorrow, and some shit coming along.
Psych is now a time for me to catch up on work, or start on it. Thank you based teacher for allowing us this time, heh. We're watching "The Soloist" which is supposedly based on a true story, stars Robert Downy Jr, and somewhat has to do with psychological disorders and shit. The teacher is letting us do work, or whatever, if we wanna step outside to study, by all means, go for it. We'll be watching it for the rest of the week, so, woohoo.
English, Jesus, please calm the fuck down. We got another essay tomorrow, plus, we'll be reading one more book before the end of the year, which is "The Catcher in the motherfucking Rye." I kinda just wanna just like, relax a bit more, but I guess during AP testing week and shit, the teacher decides this would be a good time to go ham on us on essays. Nice.
Biology, oh boy. So we got to see our grid-in scores and our horrible free-response scores. I was right, it was horrible, heh. Like, out of one question (which did have multiple parts), with a possible amount of 10 points, I got only 1, and I'm sure it was just a pity point. In total, I got 2 out of the 6 grid-ins correct, which ain't that bad. What's bad is the free-response score, which I got a grand total of, wait for it. An infinity out of 40. Oh wait, my bad, turn that infinity symbol sideways. There we go, a grand total of 8 out of 40 possible points. I'm sure nobody got the full 40 points, it's utter fucking ridiculous.
What's more ridiculous is that as I was checking my horrid numbers, I was flipping through the question pages and found that I forgot to do one of the questions. Feels bad man. What's even more bad is that this one dude in the class did just 3 of the free-response questions, out of 8, while I did 7 of 'em. He got 14, which is still higher than me, heh. Now normally I'd be like, kinda pissed about it, but I've just learned to accept my fate, like, I was doomed from the start, partly because of my own like, efforts, but also a bit of the teacher's as well.
Our class (as in, all the classes my teacher has for teaching AP Biology) has an average of a D for the final exam. On the otherhand, the other AP Biology teacher's students have an average of a B for their overall score. So, yeah, we better get some goddamn compensation. It's not just a coincidence this shit happens, it's proven by like, everybody. She just threw sources at us, treating it as if we were in a "college class," but, the thing is, I've made this point before, we can't be prepared for college if we won't have the chance to get into one with this shit.
Anyways, math was just whatever, supposedly easy work. I pretty much save math work for Psych now. Like, work on math work during Psych. It's a good 45-50 minutes, gotta use 'em wisely. Lunch, was whatever again. US History, I got shit due tomorrow which includes a bootleg "newspaper" thing where you gotta write shit about some articles on a template paper. Not that exciting and the least of my worries, so, I'll be saving that for 3rd period, aka, Bio.
And finally Chinese, where I do got some work due tomorrow including a worksheet and some online shit. I got the online shit done, just needa start on the worksheet, which ain't that bad, just tedious. Hoping to finish it during Bio as well. So, all in all, everybody's getting fucked by exams, and it's not their fault either. Like, people on /r/APStudents are talking about how they made the AP Physics AP exam even harder than last year, of which apparently 1/3 of the people who took it got a 1. Yeah.
My days usually consist of rest at home, with the occasional work, and some casual playing of Isaac. Fortunately for me, I do get a little bit of wiggle room with Thursday being a holiday or something, and we get that day off. Also, tomorrow is Star Wars day supposedly, so the school's having a bootleg costume contest during lunch in front of the theater. Yeah, I'm not bringing my lightsaber. I am, though, gonna watch people duke it out with theirs, heh.
Alrighty, it's 12:47 AM, see ya.
