Week: 38
Songs to Remember: La Song - Rain, Moonlight Sonata - Bigstar
So I was right, I didn't actually need to study for the SAT, heh. Well I mean, if you don't count looking up what the new SAT's all about and like, an example essay prompt with varied student responses, then yeah, I didn't need to study.
I don't wanna sound too confident but godamn, that math section was easy as fuck. As I was doing it I like "Do they think I'm fucking stupid." I didn't even have to like, plug in answers or anything cheap like that. I did it all my usual way, and it was fucking easy. It reminded me of 8th grade math compared to what I do now in Honors Pre-cal (now that's something I consider challenging so far). But yeah, even for the grid-in's I got about, 90% right for those as well.
As for the English sections, the reading section took a while but wasn't too too bad. The writing and language section however, was a bit more challenging. And then there was the essay which is now 1 hour long, and requires you to read something, argue that or prove, etc, which I consider extremely more complex than the old essay, heh. Good thing I looked up a "4 4 4" example of an essay for a prompt last night, which gave me some idea on how I should write. As I was looking through the suggestions, I saw "Oh, shit, they want me to talk about ethos, logos, and pathos." From there, I had a guideline, used up all the time, aaand finished.
And yeah, pretty shitty, but, not as bad as the first SAT, heh. I'm thinking a 1400, or somewhere around there. Maybe 1300, but, yeah. Also I saw a classmate of mine there in the same testing room. I noticed her by her hair and her posture. I thought "Hey, ain't it that one girl who sits behind me in History." I'm guessing it was.
Umm, yeah, went home, played some Isaac, took my nap, played some more Isaac, now it's 11:31 PM and I am now looking up guides for how to fold orgami envelopes in which I will put my little notes in for the KDT seniors. Uhh, tomorrow, I will revise my speech one more time, aaand, finish up some extra work if need be. Oh and there's an AP bio AP exam waiting for me. Gonna want to get that over with, aaand I'll almost be free. Just gotta deal with AP Bio (of which the teacher is assigning us a project to boost our grade. I need 1% and I'm good forever) and English (just need to to rework a fucking essay and I'll be golden. Then, it's off to study Catcher and Gatsby. I just need an 80% or so for the final exam, and, I'm golden).
Alright, well it's uh, 11:41 PM now. Gonna work a bit more on making these envelope(s) and then off to bed. See ya.
