Week: 28
Songs to Remember: Overcome - Nu'est
There definitely needs to be change, like, now. The series has gotten pretty boring besides the specials. Other than that, episodes are really lackluster.
For instance, Psychology is either just notes, shitty group work, or a test. Just one of those three, and today was the 2nd, which wasn't really group work anyways, I kinda just drowsily wrote down shit on a worksheet.
English was a bit shittier with my group having to present our art, which I basically forgot all the significance about. I think there was another discussion, I can't remember for the life of me what else we did 'cause I was really sleepy and tired.
Biology was just us having the Chromebooks today, we were to either work on a practice POGIL (which is like, a worksheet, like the official AP Biology section practice worksheets) or work on our "mealworm lab" packet that's apparently due tomorrow. Couldn't find it for the life of me, I found one that I remember looked very similar to the one we got in class. Printed it out, did it, hopefully the teacher accepts it because right now, I have an F surprisingly. There's only about 50 points or so in the gradebook, about 10 assignments only (like really?), and I'm missing 20 points so therefore I have an F. Pretty shit, because it'll be on my progress report and shit, and I'm gonna get called out by my mom on it, heh.
Math was the usual, again, except this time it was review and we got to see our grades. 77%, not too bad, just need to do well on this next test and boom, I'm set with that clear 80%. Lunch, was probably the turning point that made me think "Yeah, it's time for change." Ek and Ag were just talking about badminton, badminton, fucking badminton. Jk was just there, talking about badminton too sometimes. DrewN and I were just, there, on our phones. Like, what the fuck else were we supposed to do? I'll make an attempt to find others that I can "hang out" with, 'cause at least that'll be new and most likely will be more interesting than listen to badminton gossip.
US History was alright, a bit too alright 'cause I kept on falling asleep every now and then. We watched a film, about, America I guess. For the whole period, and uh, lights were off, nice ambiance, perfect environment for me to sleep. Chinese made up for the times I felt bored today. Our group is more active now in conversations, we interacted a lot with each other and with the group in front of us. Even Mt thought the same thing as well, she was like "I like this group, we get along."
It's too bad we gotta change seats on Monday next week 'cause we'll be starting lesson 18 soon. So yeah, went home, got myself a nice nap, and now here I am, finishing up English work (which I despise) and Bio work (which I also kinda hate). I'll see what I can do tomorrow in finding others to interact with. Until then, I'm kinda stuck with listening to chats about the badminton coach and team members and all that. See ya.
