Week: 28
Songs to Remember: Bickering - Nu'est
I'm trying to not let mistakes like, I don't know, messing up a bit for an event audition, stay and manifest in my mind.
Yeah, I messed up the beginning part during our VSA audition with KDT. It was only like, the first 2 moves, but, damn, heh. I've thought about how people are gonna see it on the audition video, how we might not make it into the show because of me, how I was basically in front (which I wanted) for the VSA cabinet to see. But I've since put that behind me, because of all the support that this club has given me.
Even if I feel like I don't belong, if I'm not that great at dancing as others, if I don't have as much experience, if I don't interact with the members as much as them, they do do their best to make me feel like I contribute. And this is like, sincere, heh. For example, whenever one of the lead/veteran dancers says just a simple "Hey Drew" or "See ya Drew," in my head I just think "Hey, he/she noticed me, they know my name."
I'll take it as one of many experiences to build upon. Anyways, gonna have to rush through this post so I can sleep before 1:00 AM since I wanna wake up at 9:00 AM tomorrow to get ready, do as much shit as possible home before I gotta stay at this one High school for 9 hours. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, but, I'd rather spend all that time dancing rather than waiting, heh. Alright, let's get on with it.
Psychology, where we wrap up our filming, then basically just do work for the rest of the time. English, where we discuss, and discuss some more. In groups. Which is okay for once, heh. Next week we're starting on our essay, so uh, yeah, that'll be fun. Break isn't even something to comment anymore to be honest, I just go with DrewN and Vb to the hangout place and just, stand, or sit, and talk about random shit.
Biology, where we have free time again. I took this time to uh, work. Math, where we get to rate textbooks, voting on 1 of 2 textbooks for the new Algebra II/Trig students that'll be taking it. Or Math 3, or whatever they're implementing nowadays. After that, we got our test scores back, and guess what, woooo, 39/61. I'm so fucking inconsistent with my scores, heh. A 69/81 on the last quiz, a 39/61 on this test, which was shorter, but costed more points, Rest of the time was just work again.
Lunch, where Ek was not here due to uh, I don't know, family time or something. Our conversations actually dealt with things other than badminton for once, which was a nice refresher. After lunch was US History, where we took a "quick quiz." No really, it was easy, heh. The teacher gave us 40 minutes (you probably could've taken longer if you'd like) but I finished in like 10 minutes. I'm sure everyone finished around the same time as well. It was all a "matching" sorta quiz, with 40 terms and definitions.
And finally Chinese, where we read, and uh, talked about Chinese idioms, and whatever, all spent with my group members and those who sat around me. It was refreshing really, I liked my spot. Well, anyways, ya'll know what happened during KDT (which I stayed 'till 4:00 PM 'cause I wanted to relax and shit before I gotta spend all day tomorrow at a High school), played some League games, gonna get demoted soon, it's 12:34 AM, I'm also finished getting my essentials for tomorrow, and uh, yeah. On Sunday my dad and I will be looking for a 1950's-esuqe jacket or shirt for me to wear for my presentation on Tuesday, exactly.
So yeah, see ya, and expect me to be super tired tomorrow. Oh and just to mention, a few of my old, old elementary school buddies will be at the charity dinner tomorrow. If I find 'em, I'll say hi, but, not gonna go any further than that. Alrighty, see ya.
