Songs to Remember: What's Wrong - iKon

Have you ever noticed that I'm always met with bad feelings before great events? Examples being the 2nd to last episode of 100% Chance of Bad, the Lunar Show: Day Show special, and most recently, just yesterday, heh. Those are just some examples.

Usually it's just me that causes this, with my mind taking things a bit too much than they really are. So, what made this so great anyway? Well, not the greatest, I'd just say good. a 7/10. DrewN messaged me this morning if I was still down to watch Deadpool. I was feeling a bit lazy, but got off my ass and said alright.

I was actually finishing up watching Warm Bodies in the morning. Last night I got to about halfway through the movie before it was 2:00 AM and decided I didn't wanna fuck up my sleep cycles anymore than they already are. I've been meaning to watch Warm Bodies for a while now, and by that I mean about a couple weeks, heh. I saw a horror movie blooper video and there was this "Warm Bodies" movie in it. Judging by the title, I thought it was like a bootleg Scary Movie type of shit. Fortunately, it wasn't.

It's actually a romantic comedy, but with zombies. A zombie dude falls for this human girl and with love and stuff, he starts becoming human again. Usually something like that would go very horrible, but this movie's different. It's original, for one thing, and it's well written. There's a lot of character development, plot is pretty surreal but ya gotta role with it and dig into the deeper meanings. A lot of Romeo & Juliet tropes, umm, the soundtrack was amazing. Overall, it was nice. Definitely an 8/10. Would've been higher had it not have the freaking CGI spooky scary skeletons, heh.

Anyways, met up with DrewN at the theaters, out in the plaza. And yeah, there were some pretty long lines, heh, but hey, I'm sure it would've been longer yesterday and the day before that. We waited in line, which actually didn't take very long. Our other buddy was coming too to watch so that was cool. Our other buddy actually hung out with Ec and I at our old, old spot. He switched to hanging out with other people at the L building, including Cc. But I still see him now and then, 'cause he's in our math class, heh.

Alright Drew, if you don't wanna cringe hard from this social embarrassment, don't read the next couple paragraphs. I warned ya. So, before DrewN and I waited in line, we had to look for a movie close to the time for the Deadpool showing so we can get a ticket for that movie, then sneak into theater for Deadpool, because, it's rated R, and uh, only people 17 and above are allowed in,. Now I don't go to the movies often, err, often enough, alright. He said to look for a movie showing that was close to the time, and that was basically what I payed attention to.

There were two sides, the left-side theater rooms, and the right-side theater rooms. Both are the same, I think, just that they have different showings or whatever. Guess they can't have 'em all look around and be connected. Anyways, I saw that "Zoolander 2" (motherfucking Zoolander 2) was at 1:30 PM, and our Deadpool showing was at 1:40 PM. So, I said "Alright, Zoolander 2's at 1:30 PM so let's pick that." I go to the ticket person and ask for a ticket to Deadpool, and she was like "Can I see your ID?" "I have my school ID." "I need to see a California State ID or driver's license." Shit. "Can I just get a ticket to Zoolander 2 instead for 1:30 PM." Yeah, shameful, heh. She was probably thinking "This guy's gonna fucking try to sneak in ain't he."

We go in, we look at the big showtime signs, apparently the theater sides do matter, because Zoolander 2 is on the right side, and no Deadpool, which was on the left side. We tried to hand the usher dude our tickets and hopefully he wouldn't notice, but uh, he did, and said "This movie's on the other side." The dude was an older gentleman,  which did play a part in all this. So we're like "Shit, the fuck do we do" and I'm just like "Fucking Drew, you had one job, you could'a picked any movie really, but you just had to pick the one on the wrong side." We then saw the older gentleman mopping the floor, and was like 20 feet away from us. We also saw that the ticket checker person was a teen like us, so this was our chance. We went up and he was like "This movie's on the other side" and we're just like "Come on man, please" and he's like "Alright fam, I gotchu guys."

Motherfucking MVP right there, I love that dude, heh. He let us in, he understood our struggles, we're all like "Damn dude" and "I owe that guy a blowjob" or whatever, heh. The theater was packed, like, literally. The only other seats were the ones on the sides and the ones really close, up-front to the screen. The movie started, the movie ended,  Deadpool was alright. A couple things that sorta confused me was that this one dude in our row had his fucking notification sound on his phone on. Like, really? And there was this father (who was most likely out on a Valentine's day date with his wife) who brought his baby here.

Sure it was whatever but, this movie ain't for kids. And I thought there'd be a PG version of it, or at least a PG-13 version that's heavily cut, but no, it's just the R version. There was blood, gore, violence, harsh language, and yes, nudity. Not just a sex scene, well, multiple sex scenes (which for the MOST part, was censored), but yeah you do see fucking titties in this movie, not gonna lie. And not just a pair either, there were multiple. I'm sure my buddies weren't expecting it, I was expecting the sex scene(s) but not the 70% body nudity, heh. Overall, cool movie, the it started off with action, which I liked, but then it felt sorta long with the origin and background stuff in-between, but other than that, funny, action-y, and uh, Deapool-y. 8/10.

Well that's one movie off my checklist for this year. DrewN, our buddy, and I walked around the mall for bit before we all went home. I noticed on the way out of the theater room was a movie poster with the words "Cloverfield on it." I was like "Wait a second." I read the title, read the catchy text, and was like "Yep, 10 Cloverfield Lane," let out a big sigh, and was like "Finally, after 8 years." I loved Cloverfield, and they're finally making a sequel. But apparently, after reading up about it, it's more of like a spin-off really, the production of the movie was for something different, and halfway through was it turned into a Cloverfield movie.

And what's even more crazy, is that it's coming out on March 11th. Like, really? All this time and I haven't even heard about it 'till now. Anyways, gonna have to watch that, including "The Boy," which I might watch tonight. I already finished Warm Bodies today, which did make for a nice Valentine's day-esque movie. Other than that, nothing really lovey-dovey today, heh. And stop fucking making yourself out like a special snowflake Drew, there's a lot more people who're experiencing the exact same shit as you. And it's fucking Valentine's day, I'm sure there's plenty of girls going "Damn, spending Valentine's day by myself again." Grow the fuck up Drew.

SO yeah. Umm, didn't really get any work done today, mostly was just relaxing. I'm planning to get at least one thing done each night, whether it be dance practice, a portion of an essay done, or whatever. Anyways, gonna go to bed now, before I succumb to my shit sleep schedule again. See ya.
