Week: 2
Songs to Remember: Cheetah - My Number

This is gonna be random, short, and just enough to count as post, because I spent all day studing and doing work because all teachers love giving quizzes and tests on the same day.

Psychology, same thing as yesterday. The teacher finished the story, I didn't really pay much attention to it because needless to say, a story that takes 2 class periods to read does not seem interesting to me. But of course I did listen to the major stuff, just not the really tiny details. I did however, tried photo-copying pages from this stupid study guide for AP Psychology. The problem was that the book was so goddamn big. It's 400 pages (layers) so it's basically a textbook itself.

It's so big, it barely fits into my printer to scan, and when I do, it doesn't cover fully a whole page, so I end up wasting so much ink for the printer to fill in the blank areas. And last but not least, the notes section we have to do for it is like 11 pages, so it would take more time to photocopy the whole thing, rather than just writing it all out. Which I did. I did the practice tests in there, so I gotta say I am fully prepared for the quiz tomorrow.

Honors English, we learn SOAPSTone and all that jazz. And umm, still, more essay prep. Kinda don't like talking 'bout essays, I like to keep it on the down low. Also, we watched a video on the SAT and ways to study for it. This was to encourage us to make flash-cards to memorize our vocabulary words not just for the quiz tomorrow, but over time so we still remember 'em for the SAT. And that's just like "Oh, alright. Can't wait to start SAT prep. Just great".

I laughed a lot while doing work tonight, because shit like "Gotta study for the next quiz, gotta finish this work, gotta start on the next assignment, start on the psychology poster, prep for the SAT soon, memorize these words, essay to write soon". I laughed at the absurd amount that's coming my way. And, probably everyone else's way.

Biology is just kinda whatever too. The textbook is just all over the place, not exactly where we're at in class. So, I gotta do my research elsewhere, the internet. Right now it's just review about H2O, as well as statistics, which, I actually learned a bit back in Algebra II/Trig. You know, standard deviation and variance. That stuff. We got a quiz tomorrow on properties of water and statistics. I'm pretty confident in my ability to do it, it's just math, and properties of water I already generally have a guide of.

Math. Proofs. Some of the things I don't like, especially when they're together. I'm going to be honest, it's around 9 questions to do tonight, the teacher's already done about 5 of 'em in class, all I gotta do is 4 more. Yeah, ummm, I'm taking my best buddy's sister's advice, and finish the assignment that is worth the most points out of my classes. For math, this work assignment is worth about 5 points. That's like nothing, heh. With my work, I'll probably get a 2/5 for it, which is still fine. Not worth the effort in writing all of that. It, is, LONG. These proofs are long. Rather would not spend an hour trying to wrap my head around the problems, would rather spend it on studying for 30 minutes for 2 subjects, or, sleep.

Lunch, I walked around with Ag and Ek again. It's becoming a regular thing, it's new still, the fans are definitely intrigued by how the series is going, heh. They're just waiting for surprises, for now, it's really just a grind for me. I like how I'm still keepig this idea going.

US History. Good, 'ol fashioned, lecture. With some stories, which brings a cool example and testimony to what we're learning. Real nice. Definitely comfortable right now in US History. I'm able to study when I want, especially since there's not really any work right now, it's great. And finally Chinese class, which alleviates some of the pressure from my other classes, and turns it into a fun learning experience.

We did some online practice quizzes, like those bootleg class quiz competitions. Those. Also, there was this guy here today, we was a previous student at the school and class, now going to be a Junior in college, studying computer science. Towards the end of class, he let us ask him questions about college. One of the tips that he could not stress enough, is how college, it doesn't where you go really. It just makes you feel, like, more achieved. It really doesn't matter.

Also, internships. Always say you can provide another solution in case you don't fill a requirement. And finally, college ain't really about grades, it's about finding who you are. And I'm just like "Damn, I don't even know who I am right now, heh". Crazy to think about at this time. Anyways, it's 11:00 PM now, I'd love to sleep right now, but I still gotta finish these English annotations. So, see ya.
