Week: 2
Songs to Remember: Jerk It Out - Caesars
I've finally experienced 5 days of school in a row. My conclusion: fucking sucks, heh. All I want right now is to be able to go to sleep at 11:00 PM.
So umm. Let's get into it. Psychology, well I've been interacting with the people next to me for the past couple days, mostly because the seats are always changing and so our desks were fairly close, like a group. It's mostly just this one girl from my English class last year, this one other girl, and this other girl, who is the friend of this girl from my P.E class last year. The class is about 70% girls, 30% boys okay? Also those delinquents that I talked about switched out to P.E because they didn't think this was gonna be that hard.
It's pretty rigorous, just like the description says, heh. We had our first test today, this was still just on the prologue by the way. I expected it to be like, 20 multuple choice questions max. Nope, heh. 51 questions, in 25 minutes. I wish the teacher woulda told us that before. And then the remaining time for the essay question. Well, more like a couple paragraphs. I barely fucking finished the 51 questions. Just, barely. I was on question 36 when the teacher told us there was 5 minutes left. I was like "Shiiiiiiiit".
I think I got like a B- maybe. Hoping for, anyways. And then there was English. Barely had time to study for vocabulary last night. Good thing I do bootleg mneumatic phrases to remember the words. Real test came, multiple choice, only about 1/3 of the words were on it. I was like "Who do you think you are". Then there was a test on The Hero's Journey cycle. Both about 20 questions each. I think I got about a B on each. Hoping for. We'll also be doing presentations soon, quick ones, on our posters we made.
Break yadda yadda, nothing really happens here. Biology, test today as well, ah yes. It was on mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and bit 'bout water properties. Really, really short. We could only use calculators with basic functions. An didn't have one so yesterday she asked me if she borrow one. I stood outside the classroom, she came, I gave it to her. All in all, I probably got about an A- on it. Might've done some wrong math.
Math. The lesson chapter skips to proof, I'm fucking dead, heh. Gladly it's only just one lesson chapter. Hopefully. Today it was easier, yesterday it was only like 9 problems but would've taken me like 10 hours, whereas today's work is only 30 problems, but would probably take me only 1 hour. So that, I'll take. And I never got to say this, but there's this dude who has a seat to the right of me. I really don't like it when the teacher has the seats arranged so that 2 seats are adjacent to eachother, because this guy will be next to me, and he'll start riffle-shuffling.
I'm talking 'bout, literally, pulling out a deck of cards, and just tries to quietly riffle-shuffle under his desk or under his book. In fact I'm not even sure if he's trying to hide the loud riffle sound anymore. He doesn't say anything about it like "Hey check this out", nor do I say anything about it because I don't want to know about it. But, I'm guessing it's like a stress reliever or something? I'd riffle-shuffle in class too, but unfortunately I would have my cards taken away for being a distraction and because it's fucking loud.
Lunch time finally comes, I'm fucking hungry, and I can finally explain what I wanted to explain in this post, because I got 2 extra days ahead of me and so I don't have to worry about work right now. This is one of my rest days. Anyways, walked around with Ag, Ek again, met up with Jk couple times, Jv couple times. I now know what was bugging me about Ag. I was like "Hmmm, there's just something I can't put my finger on". And then I was like "Oh right. She kinda looks like Tn, and Jt".You know, some past people. Yeah, that was, that was it, heh.
US History, oh man is it cold in there. The AC's always blasting. We just watched part of a film shown from the History channel, with dramatizations of the American Revolution. I gotta say, the budget was pretty nice for it. Ummm, just, that was it really. Very relaxing. We're still just moving slowly in notes and whatnot, no real work yet. But when it does, WABAM. There goes the rest of my time, heh.
Chinese, a fun way to end the day. Guess the fans loved having Chinese towards the end of the episodes that the writers brang it back and in the same way as the last series. Today's was relaxing sorta, people went up to present and talk about thei research summary. And uhh, we did some total-physical responses (hand gestures) for our vocabulary words for the lesson. Mostly it'd just food. And tea. And more tea.
So right now, I'm taking a breather from the chaos that's begun. Oh yeah, actually saw Yn today when Ek and I waited for Ag to get lunch. Yn really was working at one of the registers, heh. Anyways, the Black Ops 3 Beta was released to everybody today. I STILL GOT IT BABY. Also've learned to laugh, not rage, when dying. I could understand now how I raged at one point when I first played Modern Warfare 3. Oh yeah, this is all video games.
Tomorrow I'll be relaxing, maybe completing some online assignments, then head to dinner with Ag, Ek, and Jk at some other place, then head to Ag's house again. This time we'll be playing monopoly or something. Then Sunday, that's just work and prep for next week's chaos. This was, some good calm writing alright. Now it's time to sleep early on a weekend. See ya.
