Week: 50
Songs to Remember: Fun Boys - BTS

I just can't expect s*** to go the way I vision it anymore. That's not always a bad time, sometimes it's better. Because every single time I go to tutor, it's always a different experience.

I've been feeling sorta out of it this week. I just feel the same kind of tired during 2nd semester when coming home from school, taking a nap from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. That kind of tired, and boy was I tired. I when as "This is my weekly dose of socializing, gotta do it".

Went to the library, was hoping to sit at a table and doing nothing for a while. Not today apparently. I came early somehow (arrived at 1:06 PM) and so the tables and chairs weren't set up yet. I was waiting in the lobby outside, people started arriving soon after that, including my buddy. He said our tutee wasn't going to be here today. I was like "Alright, well, guess we'll just pretend and do nothing at a table".

My buddy had different plans. Last time he just left our tutee with our other Buddy, Ek, and he went off to hang out somewhere else with his other buddies. He just came here today, because well, he wanted to hang out with his other buddies again. So, I was considering just sitting at a table with my other buddies (the ones from last time), but this time, since I wasn't busy tutoring a kid of my own (I was helping my other buddy last time), she invited we to help her tutor her kid.

We (along with her friend who was with her during this time) went to the room right across from the auditorium (where the whole tutoring event was taking place). I was like "Oh, so this is where she was last time". She opened the door, my eyes were wide from surprise, as I did not expect all these people to be here. Hell, some of 'em I don't even remember them being here at the tutoring event, I completely forgot about 'em.

Those people include, this one girl I know from social media and seen here around with friends but never actually spoke to her before, that one dude who Vh was here during the first day of the tutoring thing, this one dude who was my Badminton partner during the beginning of Sophomore year and was also in my swimming class and a bunch of my classes in P.E, and Js (you know, the one who does K-Pop stuff, was a character back in the first series. I did NOT expect here to be here at all. I actually forgot she existed, heh). The rest of the people (around 3 others) I did not know.

So, I was completely caught off guard. Pretty f***ing crazy right?! It was f***ing amazing. So the whole room was around 8 meters long, 4 meters wide (just guesstimating here), and a long table in the middle, covered, with a laptop, tablet, drawing book (like the one I used back in the first series in Drawing class), paper, folders, pens, pencils, pencil boxes, paper, some drinks (prominently Boba Milk Tea), and just, textbooks. As I was saying, I came through the door, I was greeted by Jk (the dude whom I mentioned was with Vh), sat down and started to help Ek with her tutee. This was not easy, as her tutee liked drawing and stories more than math.

She soon went to the other side of the table and talked with her friend (the one who was with us when we came in) as I sat next to our tutee, coping with her hyper-activity and begging her to do some math. I should also remind myself to not have my phone out in the open next to her, as she will try to get to it to play "Geometry Dash". I don't even know why I still have it on here. Probably just in-case for long airplane trips (which most likely won't happen 'till next year).

I managed to keep her hyper-ness contained by drawing and talking about a story about cats, in which she drew a lot of cats, dogs, catdogs, and "catbunnies" (combination between cat and bunny if you didn't know). Thankfully, she left after the first session. I finally got a chance to survey the room and the people in it. About half had left to order food someplace, I didn't have my wallet on me so my buddy Ek wouldn't mind sharing her food with me. As they were gone (me, Ek, her buddy Ag, Jk, and a couple others were still here in the room), Ek, Ag, Jk, and I decided to go play Chess/Checkers in the kids section of the library.

Now, we probably should've been tutoring, buuuut, to be honest, it WAS breaktime, and we didn't really have tutees, soooo, this was good way to pass time. Until the food came. So, we played Chess and Checkers, I was like "Oh, so this is where you were last time". Ag said I sounded a lot like those announcers in Sports or whatever. I was thinking like "Yep, never heard that one before. But really, never heard someone say I sounded like an announcer before. I think this is my calling, heh".

We came back to the room, the others were still not back, so, we went back and played another round of Chess and Checkers. We finished our game, came back, almost got evicted from the room because another group (like, a mother and her daughter) had booked the room before us (apparently we didn't book the room, I guess these people asked the event coordinator if they could use this room and she said yes without checking on reservations). The mother was like "Oh it's okay now, just remember to reserve it next time, it's okay". Well. A short time after that, the others were back with the food (I had no idea what it was) and apparently they got caught and so we had to eat outside at the lobby near the entrance of the library (but still indoors).

The food we got? Fries. And variations of it. Not sure what the others had ordered, but Ek and her buddy, along with me and one other person whom I did not know but reminded me of this girl from my chemistry class, got fried. Not just any fries, spicy ones. They were basically just regular french fries, but with this spicy seasoning on 'em. We had to small boxes of these, but they were quite spicy after eating many of 'em, we had to go get water at the fountain a few times due to the prolonged spiciness

I gotta say, we got really connected. Ek, Ag, me, bonded over spicy french fries. And well yeah, Chess and Checkers too. But uh, yeah. Very good socializing, very good. When we were done, we went back to the room, I saw that one dude, the one who was in many of my P.E classes in the last series, and he acted really affectionate around Js, and she was doing the same back. I'm like "Are they just really good friends now, orrrr...". I didn't want to assume it, I did NOT want to assume it. But then my assumptions were confirmed when he said something about how his girlfriend wasn't here currently in the room. And well, Js wasn't here. Like, everybody was pretty much here, besides her. And a couple others but, for the most part, she wasn't here at this time. And now it's not even assuming, I know it is.

So I was thinking like "Oh, alright. That was uh, okay. Quite unexpected, wasn't informed of it at all, I did not expect this, I did NOT expect this". I mean, what the heck, nobody filled me in on the 411, like, where's the Facebook official event? It ain't official until it's Facebook official (slash sarcasm for all that by the way). Anyways, we were pretty much done, Ek, Ag, Jk, and another person were all going to this badminton place after. I was invited too, but I had to go home and eat dinner.Would I have gone? Ehhhh, not really, I wanted to just relax after all this s***, heh. So, I waved bye, my mom drove by, picked me up.

Also today I found out that registration's gonna be on the same day as tutoring. I was like "huh.... wait, really? Ah f***". It's 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM on Friday, August 7th (for Juniors). Better timing though in general, as Seniors have to wake up and get their from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Damn. I'll hopefully make it, gonna wanna get there really early. I think more people come late than early, or was it the other way around? Anyways, I'll probably show up late. But doesn't matter, last day of tutoring is just eat pizza and cake, like last year.

Today was quite unexpected. Very, unexpected. Met new people, did new things, the whole thing was unexpected. It was quite the experience. Anyways, it's 1:02 right now, I spent an hour typing this. Okay, more like 30 minutes but still, it was worth it. And uh, it's officially August now. F***, it's back to school already, 13 more days. *sigh*, alrighty, let's hope for some more new experiences soon. See ya.
