Week: 16
Songs to Remember: The Rumpus - Upper West
I cannot believe how close it is to my birthday. I also can't believe that my math teacher is gonna have us do quizzes for four days in a row. Four days! Like holy hell, what is this, a math marathon?
So we finished watching that movie today in World History. We spent 4 days watching it. Last night I forgot to read a couple chapters from this book we're reading for English called "Like Water For Chocolate". Good thing I have World History first period and my teacher doesn't care if I read during the movie. We then discussed those chapters for English. Tomorrow we're either reading or doing group discussions, depending on the sub. If we get this one specific substitute, we won't get work done, heh, and so if we do get that substitute, our teacher's advice was to "just read".
My chemistry teacher isn't back yet, he's probably coming back tomorrow. All I've done in Chemistry these past three days is cut, color, and study. We're doing this ion puzzle thing where we're supposed to cut out and color these puzzle pieces, then put em' together, connecting mono ions or something. Our teacher hasn't taught us this stuff yet so we'll have to wait until he gets back in order for us to finish it. Basically I got free time during these past few days, from Chemistry and World History class. Along with those classes, I also got free time today from P.E as well.
The P.E teachers scheduled a pool testing thing today so us students were to go to the gym, don't change, and just watch a movie. Aaand the movie they were showing was this documentary called "Bullied". Pretty generic name right, there's like a ton of other movies called "Bully", "Bullied", "Bullies", etc. It's about this dude who was bullied for being homosexual, ran away a couple times, beat up, then sues the school and wins. It was okay I guess, I don't really like depressing documentaries. What I would like to watch is some "I Almost Got Away With It". I just remembered about that show. I haven't watched it in like years. I watched it on this Discovery sub-channel called "Discovery Mystery" or something like that, forgot the name.
Oh and while exiting out of Chemistry, it was raining right, so Yn had her umbrella out and I was gonna get mine out too, but then she was like "You could share with mine" and I was like "Sure". So I was just talking about how my week's going while walking with her under her umbrella, aaand that was it. What, you thought something would happen? Nope, not today. I'm imagining Buzz Lightyear as he says "Not today!"
For math, I have a chapter test tomorrow, then a quiz, then another quiz on Friday, the a quiz on Monday, then another one on Tuesday. Yeah. We're kinda behind on tests 'cause she moves the chapter 6 test from Tuesday to tomorrow, so now she has to divide the chapter 7 test into quizzes rather than having big tests within a week of each other. We'rw taking the chapter 6 test tomorrow and we're on chapter 8 now. Yeah, pretty behind. I do prefer multiple quizzes over a mega-test 'cause I don't have to study everything at once. She said she divided up the quizzes so like, quiz 1 is section 1 and 2 only, quiz 2 is section 3 and 4 only, etc.
I just don't like how they're all on consecutive days. Anyways, we finished up (or started on) our comics we had to draw for Chinese class. I showed my buddy my comic and my drawing depiction of him and he was like "Ayy lmao", heh. He had a good laugh because it was so bootleg. Almost as bootleg as this one video he showed me of Scott Stirling getting repeatedly pummled by soccer ball hits to the face. God, that was good. Tomorrow we're doing introductions, where we have to introduce our person to the class, and it's on Chinese, 50 character minimum. I actually had a hard time doing 50 characters by the way. Soo, I'll sleep now. See you tomorrow.
