Songs to Remember: I Wish It Was Christmas Today - Julian Casaancas, Prayer in C (Lilly Wood and The Prick and Robin Schulz (Radio Edit)
This whole day I spent on Realm of the Mad God, in car, at Fry's, and in a little Tokyo. I also thought today was Tuesday.
I woke up at about 8:30 AM today, probably because I went to sleep too early last night (about 12:00 AM). 12:00 AM's fairly earlier than what I usually go to sleep at. Also maybe it was because I wanted to play some more RoTMG. I've kinda came back into the addiction, I think it's mostly because I have nothing to grind on (game-wise you sicko). I'll probably discontinue playing it once I get home (to which I'll be playing mostly just GTA V and Warframe). Oh yeah, we went Christmas shopping today. My 2 other cousins weren't going to arrive in L.A until about 5:00 PM so we had to go shopping without em' (we as in me, my uncle, and another 2 cousins of mine).
We first went to Fry's because Fry's has like all the cool things you ever need. I mean, k saw handcuffs and pepper spray there. Now that is stuff you generally don't see in stores. We picked up GTA V for both me and my other cousin, Super Smash Bros U, a $50 PSN card for my other cousin, and a 1-year Playstation Plus card for my other cousin as well. I only wanted a copy of HTA V and a 1-year membership card, but out of the stacks of PSN cards, we couldn't find d another one. So we went to dude working there and asked him if there were any left. He took us to the place where we alreasy looked so we asked another dude and have him check in the system. He was like "Sorry, there ain't any more" so we were like "Aight then".
We went to get in line for the checkout and right at the gift-card section there were stacks of 1-year membership cards. What is this. Anyways, we got 2 copies of GTA V for me and my cousin, a 1-year PSN membership for me and my cousin, a $50 PSN card for my cousin, and Super Smash Bros U for my other cousin. That was only for us, my other other cousin, the one whom we all went to the funeral for for her dad, still needed to get her presents. Sooo, we went to little Tokyo located in, well, little Tokyo. Near 1st Street.
We went to this little area we always go to where they have this shop named "Kinokuniya" (had a hard time remembering that name). It's basically a Japanese shop with like tons (and I mean tons) of manga, magazines, novels, books, posters, little charms, stationary, and a Ron of other Japanese imported stuff. I already got my Christmas gifts so I just looked around. I tried to look the section for where I could find all the Soul Eater manga books, but most of the signs were in Japanese so I was like "What, I can't read this". I did however find them and there weren't ma y copies left, only about 8 left and weren't in order.
My cousin got gifts, a notebook and some other stuff. About $100 for the notebook. Or so. I don't know the exact price, but I know it totaled about $100. We then went to this small market located right below the manga store (it was on a second floor) and got some Ramune drinks, you know those little Japanese drinks with the marbles in them. After that, my cousin (the one who got the notebook) didn't have anybody to drive her home and 6:00 PM so we has to drive her home. Took about an hour because of traffic. Took a total of 2 hours picking her up and driving her back. The only s****y part was when I had no battery left on my phone.
So we got home, aaand my other cousins finally arrive. We ate spaghetti for dinner, then we had Tiramisu for dessert (or just "cake" if you wanna be d*** about it). It was pretty good, tasted like ice cream but not really ice cream. Apparently 2 other people in our family are bringing cake tomorrow too so that's gonna be fun. After all that, my cousins played a bit of Smash Bros on their 3DS's (or is it 3DI for plural?) while I played RoTMG since I don't own a 3DS (nothing to play really). Got scammed in RoTMG, then got lucky, aaand now I'm sleepy. Uhhh tomorrow we'll probably be watching The Interview online and umm, opening present, in which we can't use until we get back home. So, I guess I'll see you tomorrow, have a good one.
