Week: 18
Songs to Remember: Ghost - Mystery Skulls (Fred Falke Remix)
Finally this season has came to an end. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is debatable.
I almost forgot to write one for today because I was caught in sending diqpi- I mean snapchats to my buddies. Very difficult for one of em' I'll tell ya that. Anyways, I took the Algebra II/ Trig final today, one of the two of the hardest tests in my opinion for me this year. I was kinda scared s***less when I walked into the classroom. I was so nervous that I didn't even notice that she was passing out scantrons, which meant that the test was going to be multiple choice. I was like "Wait, these are scantrons. Which mea-... PRAISE PYTHAGORAS IT'S MULTIPLE CHOICE".
I gotta say, it was much easier than I thought it would be. Some questions were tricky, I had to go back and check over em' to get the correct answers. There were barely any word problems and no graphing questions at all either, which was good. 50 questions in total, I think the other math teacher designed it, 'cause if it was my math teacher who made the test, then it would have included more letters than numbers. Soo, I think I got at least an A- on it.
After that, I knew that it was gonna be smooth sailing 'cause my next class was Chinese and we already did our final so we would just be screwing around for 2 hours. The teacher talked a bit about her hobby for paper cut-outs, like using an exacto-knife to create designs in paper. Then she explained how to do some Chinese calligraphy using ink and paintbrushes and also some origami. I wasn't really interested in all that stuff so I just played "Healing Simulator", a game my buddy recommended me. Played for a bit, about 10 minutes, I knew I was getting bored, then I hear the sound of what appeared to be the turns of a Rubik's cube.
Near the back of the classroom I see Rc solving a Rubik's cube and I was like "Well". Then I noticed that this one girl had a V-Cube (brand of cube puzzles) and so I was like "Ay, is that a V-Cube?" She was like "Yeah, but it's not mine though. Can you solve it?" I was pretty eager to try it out, I haven't used a V-Cube before and it's been a while since I last played with Rubik's Cube. After about 2 minutes, I solved it and she was like "Ha, look Rc, I solved it" and he was like "No you didn't. Who solved it?" And she pointed at me and then this whole thing happened where we were doing cubing stuff and all that.
With only 2 Rubik's Cubes, Rc and I got to know each other better just 'cause we share a talent of knowing how to solve Rubik's Cubes. It was actually pretty fun, he's a pretty cool dude. Pretty cool dude. I can see why people can get along well with him. We spent the whole 2 hours basically just talking about cubing stuff and whatever. Not bad. As class ended and we were walking our routes, he was like "See ya my fellow cuber!" and I was like "Heh, see ya". And that right there, I knew it was smooth sailing.
So, my grades for this semester are: A, B,B,B, B, A. I think. A lot more B's than I expected, but I had a lot of 89%'s okay? When I got home, I felt like a huge burden had lifted off of me. I felt no weight on my shoulders anymore, and there won't be, at least for another 2 weeks. Then it's back to business. During the summertime I'm a have to get a part-time job and take driving lessons. Yeah. Anyways, tomorrow I'm probably going to my grandmother's house in L.A for Christmas as usual. See you tomorrow.
