Songs to Remember: What About You - Laboum
My Chinese teacher sent us all a reminder on the remind app that she would be having quiz re-takes today during lunch. She said that nobody came in for a re-take. Then we're all like "But you sent it to us during 5th period, which is after lunch..." And then she's link "But none of you came" and I'm just like "What".
I'm writing this all at 2:05 A.M right now. I spent the last several hours working on math, more math, about an hour and a half on Chemistry, then about a half hour on Chinese. Today was the last day for us to work on our ion puzzle in class so we had to take em' home and finish em' there. I told Yue that I'd do it since she already has a lot of work already and it's more convenient than having to switch it around back and forth. By the way, coloring, cutting, and gluing about 100 pieces of paper at 1:00 AM isn't fun. At all. A couple of my buddies messaged me asking about homework and I was just like "Well of course people are still up". I told em' "Stay in school." Best advice you could give anyone is "Stay in achool".
I think we're taking a test tomorrow for World History. Actually now that I think about it, it's probably Friday. And with it being final exams next week, you'd think teachers would give us breaks to study at our own pace. Nope. They give us work while we're preparing to do more work. They probably hold meetings in the teacher's lounges and be like "Hey, when are you giving out your next test?" "Mhmm, well considering next week is final exams and everyone hasn't slept in days, I think I'll have it on the Friday before the week of exams." "Hey, I was thinking the same thing too. Hehe, I'm sure the students will get a kick out of that one."
Oh, and I also moved up in today in table tennis. The singles tournament ends on Friday and now I'm at table 6. I'm actually getting the hang of it now. I thought I was gonna be stuck on the last couple tables forever. Thank goodness there are people worse than me. This one dude that I know started at table 3 and is now at table 8 I think. Yeah. Also, we changed seats today in Chinese. The teacher had us vote whether we wanted to have the seats be random, or we pick our new seats. Majority voted that we pick. Which I was first happy about because then I could sit next to this one cute girl. But, then I soon wished it had been random 'cause I'm stuck now in a group I don't like. As in, I there's no synergy. She's sitting in El's group now so there's no way I could sit next her for now.
This whole week people and the local news have been talking about how tomorrow's gonna be super stormy, windy, rainy, and cold. They said it's gonna be so bad, that my cousin's school is canceled already for tomorrow. For my school? We still have to go. And our school is outdoors too. Which means we have to walk to our classes in the rain and cold. I saw on my school's website that school would continue tomorrow and that they have setups and people from an electrical company so that they'd ensure there would be no flooding or blackouts. And I'm just like "How does that solve the rain and cold when we're walking to our 6 classes? At 8:00 in the morning?" At the closing of their bulletin, it said for us to "stay dry". What kind of f***ing advice is that. The staff just stay inside all day while we have to walk (and most likely run) to our classes in the rain, along with difficultirs such as disabilities, sheer amount of textbooks, and a bunch of other problems. Like one status I saw because of this, they should try walking through rain and wind 6 times a day.
Also, an announcement. I recently made a page for a list for all the songs in my music library as of right now. So if you want to check em' out, there's now a navigation bar and just click the one that says music library or something. It's a lot of songs by the way, about 4 gigabytes in total that I have. It also shows the date I added em' which is pretty cool too. So if you want to find some new music, music that I like, you could check that out whenever you want. Also, I added Zi on Facebook. It took only about, ehhh, 30 seconds. I don't add people on Facebook much anymore so I don't get to experience of a friend-request accept that often. But I do, oh man. My face when I saw that she accepted my friend request.
So far, things are going eh. Stuff seems to spike up, then go down, then stay ehhh, then goes to s***. Also I got a 68/70 on my chemistry test, which I took about a month ago. Finally got it back today. Mr. Sales said it was the best score out of all 3 of his chemistry classes. I did pretty ham on the notes sheet for it. That's probably why. Also, ask me how I feel about my seat in Chinese right now? Do i like it? No... no. I'll be going to sleep now. See you after the apocalypse.
"Nobody came in for the retake" you sent it to us in 5th.
