Week: 16
Songs to Remember: You Only Live Once - The Strokes, Naive (Jean Tonique Remix) - The Kooks, Bing Bing Bing - JJCC, #2014POINT1 - SHIMMIXES
Well here I am, doing my 301st post since I started back in on December 6 in 2013. And that was back when I did all this on a Google doc, heh. There's probably about 30 or so posts in that Google doc, along with the epilogue in there, so, roughly 350 posts. That's a lot.
So this will be a post that describes how I feel right now, my current state in who I am. That includes stuff from like, hobbies, grades, etc. Just whatever. Hioefully I can fit a this in before I start succumbing to this comfy feeling bed. Alright, here it goes. My name's Andrew, personally I prefer to be called Drew since there's so many Andrew's at my school and that Andrew is fairly common name. I know like, 5 other Andrew's. Anyways, my last name starts with a T, my middle name starts with an H and it's given to me by my dad. I'm 5'4" right now (I think, haven't measured myself in like a couple years) and I weigh about 130 lb. Or 120. Again, j don't really remember the last time I weighed myself.
And yes, I am pretty light. I blame it on my high metabolism. I eat as much as I can, but I get full pretty easily. I also eat very slowly as my relatives have always said, including my parents. I think it's because I've always chewed my food thoroughly before swallowing. Straying away from food or else it'll make me hungry, I'm a fan of K-Pop, Electro, Dubstep, Alternative, Rock, EDM, the likes. My favorite artists right now are The Strokes, The Kooks, Nu'est (sorta, not much anymore), and JJCC. I'd say deadmau5 and like, The Knocks too, but I'd be lying since I don't really listen to them often.
Mostly it's just K-Pop right now, occasionally it's EDM and Alternative. I watch Top K-Pop charts each week to find new songs. Pandora's nice too, but not much for foreign music. For shows, I really like Over the Garden Wall, Adventure Time, and Running Man, buuut, I've only watched the first episode of Garden Wall and only a handful of Adventure Time. I have however watched about 175 episodes of Running Man, so, that's nice. I rarely have time to watch it anymore though. Each episode is about an hour long or so. Pretty fun show, I'd recommend it. It's a Korean variety show by the way.
I also have developed a vocavary according to videos I've watched on YouTube, social media, and the community. Some of those words include so, well, anyways, rekt, Ayy lmao, m8, and my personal favorite, "bootleg". I also have a lot of inside jokes with my buddies and cousin too. Stuff like " monkey chow, good point, amoebas, inside" and much more. Inside jokes. The way I talk right now is sorta ehh. That reminds me: I don't know how to talk. Enough talk. More importantly, holding a conversation. It usually consist of me talking to a person, they're saying stuff, I say a bit, they say stuff, I don't know what to say, I repeat what they say. I hate that.
I speak Vietnamese and English. I can speak like, basic Viet. I do understand a lot of Viet though. I am fluent in English, I understand a lot of vocabulary and stuff, along with pronunciations. The games I play right now are Warframe, Town of Salem, and a bit (like miniscule) of Cod: Advanced Warfare. I like Realm of the Mad God too, but I don't like to grind on it. Maplestory's cool too, but the same applies. I really like stuff that looks retro, 8-bit, and pixels. I really like that art style for some reason. Oh, and I forgot to mention Minecraft. Rarely do I play it now though, and I mean RARELY. Not enough time for it though.
I watch a lot of JonTron, Chonny, The Creatures, JustKiddingNews, Keyori, along with my role model and personal hero, vash12349 on YouTube. I also watch K-Pop charts and other random gaming videos as well. I'm also a big fan of montage parodies and their subreddit, /r/montageparodies. They basically make satire of the seriousness of montage-makers in Call of Duty. Anyways, I think that's a enough about my hobbies, i get to the real life stuff now. I go to this high school in this sma town in California. Fairly small, only like 3000 students at our school in total. I have World History for 1st period, then English 2A, then Chemistry, P.E, Algebra II/ Trig, and Chinese 1.
World History's going ok, English 2A is going alright, Chemistry is fine, P.E is getting kinda iffy, Algebra II/Trig is Noe under control (for now), and Chinese 1 is fine. I started out as with a C in Algebra II/ Trig, and that was pretty rough. After a huge comeback, I now have a B. I have an A in World History, a B in English, a B in Chemistry, B hopefully in P.E, B in Algebra II/Trig, and an A in Chinese 1. Now if I try a bit harder, I could maintain A's for a lot for classes. But considering Algebra II/Trig, along with sleep and time, I just, ehhh. During the beginning of this school year, I felt pretty good. I was like "Oh my god, is this happening right now?". That lasted for about 2 weeks. Then, it became "Oh my god, I can't believe this is happening right now". I missed a lot of sleep, my schedule became f***ed, a lot for work I had to do, but, I can't believe I did it all (well, most of it) and survived. Well, until next next week's finals testing. Then we'll see if I survive.
I guess I'll list my friends and close it off. I really want my sleep, after talking about sleep so much. My current friends (the ones who've been with me for a while) are (you know what, ill just say their names, remembering these initials are really difficult even with my good memory) Eric, another Eric, Em, and Eryka. My buddies whom I've gotten closer to are the two dudes who share the same name as me, aaand El. Friends that I've made this year, are Yn, Yue, aaand maybe a bunch others. Definitely more than last year's anyways. I got blessed with a god seat during the first two weeks in chemistry, an English period that does the talking for me, several chill teachers, new opportunities. I made friends, I lost some, I took risks, aaand I don't regret em'. Not, one, bit.
I'm a sophomore in highschool, this is my 2nd year out of 4, I'm 16 now, and this all started on December 6, 2013. Well, around that time at least. Im writing this on my phone by the way. It's 1:19 AM. Anyways, see you tomorrow.
