Week 37
Songs to Remember: I'm Different - NCA
It was so... hot! Last week it was raining, this week it's been searing hot temperatures. I asked why it was so hot, my friend said "I blame Obama." F***ing awesome.
Can you believe it's Thursday tomorrow? Awesome, I know. This week so far has been, okay I guess. It's not bad, but it's not good either. It's not going ehh, but more of a meh. You get what I mean?
So my English teacher wasn't here today, so of course we had a sub. She told us that our assignment today was to write whatever we knew about Nazis, concentration camps, and Poland. What a great way to start off the morning, wrapping our minds around a death-filled tragedy.
I honestly don't know why I should try anymore in English class. My teacher never gives us homework at all really. The only thing that comes close to homework are the pages in the book we have to read. Even without any homework at all, kids in my class still forget to bring their book.
Whenever we start a reading session in class, about 5 students say they forget their book a home, and it's always the same people. Those people in my class never read the book at home (I guarantee it), only when the teacher calls on them in class, so I don't see why they'd forget it at home.
2nd period, 3rd period, booooore to the i-n-g. I'm not saying I hate Biology and Drawing, I just think there needs to be a things for interest I guess. In 4th period physical education, we played more softball today and we're all on new teams now.
It was godly hot playing out in the sun. My team wasn't exactly doing good, but we didn't do very bad either. The other team hit like 2 home runs and scored like, 7 points in total. There was only 2 minutes until we had to go back to the locker rooms and change and we had 5 points.
Needing only 2 more points to tie up the game, one of my teammates hit a home run with one dude at first base, netting us 2 more points, tying up the game.
My legs were basically dead after all the running in softball. Because I wear converse and we're playing on a pretty flat field, and how hard I step when running for the bases, my ankles (or maybe other parts of my leg) become so sore, I could barely walk. At least I'm getting the exercise.
Also, some people in my Geography class have presentations tomorrow, so I'll be looking forward to that. And it's getting late so I'll just end it here for now. See you tomorrow.
