Week 35
Songs to Remember: Pain - Speed

So Am (my 7th grade crush) has been trying to talk and chat with me for a while now I guess. It's pretty random to be honest, I mean, she sent me a message at 8:00 AM while we were at school talking about the day before where she forgot her pen and Brisk. Yes, very random.

We're almost finished reading the book "A Raisin in the Sun" in class. I've read ahead a bit in the book and finished it myself (due to my 5th period teacher not allowing us to do anything else but read during Silent Sustained Reading period). I expected the ending to be a bit more exciting, but all it is is just a really quiet ending (I don't want to spoil it for those who would want to read it).

During Biology class, my teacher decided to have us all do this unnecessary class assignment where we have to ask our classmates to answer a question on our paper. It doesn't really help with anything and promotes copying more than anything.

Today was random. By that I mean things like this just don't happen often. Or even at all. In Drawing class (drawing, not art class. There's a difference), I was working on drawing an album cover for a band (as one of our current assignments). I was thinking of choosing some K-Pop group, but I decided to go with a band that produces music in English, and that is Phoenix.

The girls who are juniors who sit at my table (on the far right of me) noticed I was drawing Phoenix and they were like "I love Phoenix" and "THIS RIGHT HERE" as one of the girls said. She is very energetic. Very.

Oh, and today we started playing some softball for physical education. It was a lot less exciting than I thought it was going to be, but our teams are composed of like 6 or 7 people so what could I have expected. I actually hit the ball a couple times and I kinda almost got a point. Kinda. Almost. I got out on the third base okay.

When we got back to the locker rooms to change, the was a blackout for a few minutes. Everyone freaked out, as expected. These are high school boys we're talking about. People started acting like it was a rave or whatever and started making lots of noise. It was pretty hard to see to be honest, even when my locker was sorta close to the exit-door. Some guy near me said "Hey, who touched my butt?" I choked while laughing on that one.

My geometry teacher was talking a bit about Algebra II/Trigonometry class for next year, how it's going to be kind of a challenge. He said that we'd be learning about 5 things a day instead of the usual 1. That's like ... 4 more things. And 4 in math terms is A LOT. I'm not sure what I'm going to get myself into.

In 6th period Geography, my teacher gave out instructions on how to do these assignments that are due like next week or something. He let us use the chrome-books (little mini Google chrome laptops) to search up information for the assignments like "What is the national fruit of India?" Pretty random stuff. Oh, and it's mango by the way.

Am has been just messaging me a few things like "Good job on the presentation!" and stuff like that. She's always on Facenovel too. Every time I log on, I see that she's online. She doesn't talk to me much, or at all actually. This is like the first time she messaged me in like a year.

Also, Ct, the girl who hangs out at my locker, was here today and I said Hi to her. It's been like, a month or something since I last said hi? No, even longer than that. She still doesn't know my name. She's also going to prom with her "friend". Apparently she just randomly called him up and asked him to go to prom with her, as "friends". She even said it herself on ask.fm; she was asked if her boyfriend was okay with it and she replied "oh im single! and michael and i are going as friends". What. The F***.

I don't what to be shocked more; she being single, she's going to prom with a "friend", or how that Rl (the dude who caused me trouble in 7th grade) commented on a picture of Hl (one of my crushed back in 6th grade) saying "cutey...". That last one is for tomorrow.

I think I wrote enough for today. See you tomorrow.
