Week: 6
Songs to Remember: Fantasy - VIXX, Strange - MASC
It's amazing how it's almost the season 6 finale already. It's also amazing that now matter how little work I gotta do each day, I always wind up having to do these posts at around 11:30 PM. I blame it on math.
So for starters, Dance was just review. Math, could've gone better, heh. I got shit-on by the quiz, ended up with a 3/10 score, dropping my 85% to an 82%. Too be honest, I kinda deserved it, but, c'mon the questions were a bit tricky. Anyways, break was somewhat, ehh, heh. I did the restroom thing and went at the same time as Lt. Got out, see her "friend" waiting for her. I guess they talk for the rest of break behind the L-building now, and uh, I was just heading out, mayber catch her again some other time, or, something.
I was actually heading back to our table (of the cast and I) but I remembered that nobody hangs out there during break, we just, do our own thing. Bell rang, I head back to Lt's location to see if she's still there or whatever, but then I remember "Oh yeah, she has Chinese 3rd period." I see from the P.E gates (the new gates), like across, that she was already walking to Chinese. I tried to cut her off and just slide in through the P.E gates (the old ones), got there just in time and boom, convo.
And it really seemed that she was busy. Like, I mean she was on her phone. And, she was like, from what she told, was lying that she was responsible in order to fill out this job application. Talked about jobs for a bit, walked all the way with her, up 'till I headed out into the parking lot, see that there was no easy way to get to the J-building from there, proceeded to head out a different route as her to not see me do a fucking circle back.
Maybe she wasn't feeling it today, maybe, whatever. I was thinking like "Damn, did I just play myself?" I'm getting the same feeling as, last series. The whole "I'm kinda just there" sorta thing, where she doesn't really, take the initiative and runs with it. She just, I'd say she just grabs the initiative when she feels like it, and lets go when she's done. I'm guessing she's just, really busy, considering she's doing like 3+ AP classes, I don't blame her. So, I guess that's a lesson learned, and that lesson is, to let it be. I could probably add this to that list of "rules" I started out with during the 1st series, continued in the 2nd, and then left dry for the 3rd.
Let it be, you either gotta fill it with energy, and if you're still bored, hey, let it be. And that's what I'ma do. I do put in way too much effort just to get a small convo in and it's not something I'd like to do everyday. The greeting from lunch to 5th period is good enough as it is. 260 more days of that, and we're just fine. Going off of my Gov teacher's screensaver, showing that there's 260 days left 'till graduation, not sure if including weekends and holidays.
Alrighty, Digital Art, just as you'd expect. There's a quiz tomorrow, in which I'm sure I'ma get a 100% on, it's not that hard. And, considering I wanna be a graphic designer, I SHOULD know this shit, heh. English, we discussed shit, aaand, reviewing stuff for the "test" tomorrow. It's open-notes though, so, I'm expecting this to not be that difficult, no sweating this one. Lunch was lunch, greeting was greeting, 5th period was just discussion, group discussion, etc. And finally, Chinese was games on games on games, and, a little start on our skit. Also, vocab quiz tomorrow, which, I kinda just give up on. I mean I study during SSR, but that's about it.
And also my cousin gave me a Skype call today. I figure it's like, once every week or so now, which is nice for updates. Alright, tomorrow is gonna be jam-packed, hell, not even just tomorrow, that AND Saturday too, because that's when Jk, DrewN, Ag, and I will be shooting "Mall 2: Blank Mall," at, you guessed it, our local mall. And yes, Homecoming is in 2-and-a-half weeks.
So, my Discord buddies and I, including Dv this time too, will be heading out for dinner, then heading to "the pipes" afterwards. Ec will be driving me home so, I'll probably be staying out pretty late, but as long as I call, I think my parents would be fine with it. But before that even, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, I'll be helping out teaching EXO's "Monster" in the dance room for KDT, ya know, that thing that I've been hyped up for all this time, heh.
