Week: 8
Songs to Remember: Pink Funk - Innovator
I like how it's still September. Just means that there's still a shit-ton of stuff that can happen or needs to happen.
So Dance, we started the tap-dancing unit. We learned like the basic "taps" for tap-dancing. It's pretty new, therefore exciting, and at first I wasn't really into it, I was expecting more of, ya know, hip hop, choreo stuff, but this is good, refreshing. And for math, it was definitely refreshing alright. In my past 3 math classes, we never changed seats, or at least, only after the 1st semester, and that's it, that's your permanent seat.
Guess this teacher thinks differently because that was what we did today. I didn't expect it at all, like, I walked in, was about to sit in my seat but I see that none of my table-mates are sitting. I see some people huddle in the middle of the room, took me a while but I'm like "What the fuck, are you serious." Personally I liked our little group, it was just the right amount of discussion and vibe that helped me trudge through these 7 weeks of math.
But now, now it's back to square one. I'm sitting with this one cute chick, this one girl who doesn't really know social cues, but that's okay (she stuck the homework notes into my textbook for some reason). And, this one dude, who wasn't here today but has fallen asleep for some lessons so, I don't know what's gonna happen for group quizzes, but independently, it's all me. The rest of class was just the usual as expected. Break was whatever, Digital Art was nice and relaxing. I'm pretty much almost finished with my Angry Birds design, umm, kinda just wanna get started on the next project already 'cause otherwise I'ma have to spend time adjusting shadows and gradients all class time, heh.
English, is probably the most boring class I got now. At least for Gov, I got table-mates who know how to take the initiative. English, there's, literally nobody I talk to. Also in English, we switched seats. The rule was though, that the 3 columns to the right can only move to the 3 column seats to the left, and vice-versa. Didn't actually take very long, it was pretty much the same arrangement except the people who do have social connections in the class sat together, and that was it. It doesn't really matter where my seat is, as long as the teacher doesn't see my closed eyes when we're reading or shit, then it's fine, heh. And yeah, that was what we did in class, the teacher lectured about something, and then we just read. Beowulf. The condensed version.
Lunch was your usual lunch, if I do say so myself, except DrewN's ABG friend came over and asked for help with math work. Also apparently there was a KDT meeting during lunch, of which I completely missed. It was posted on the KDT page, however that was on Friday, and, I completely overlooked the part where it said there was a meeting on Monday. I blame it partially on like, not being sent a reminder through the group chat, but also mostly on my dumb self for overlooking stupid shit like this, heh. It's okay though, umm, it was just explaining the audition process I guess, which I kinda know.
Gov was just finishing our poster, walking around the class, surveying others' posters and seeing who's our biggest opposition, interest groups that benefit our candidate, etc. Also there was a presidential debate today. I watched about 15 minutes of it before my cousin called me on Skype, and then I got bored, ended up not watching the rest. Plus I had to eat, so. And finally Chinese, where, you guessed it, we changed seats. Wow, didn't see that coming. I sit to the right nextt to this one girl who Jk finds interesting. Behind me was a dude before the teacher switched his spot out for Zl, ya'll remember Zl. And next to her was this dude who I didn't find amusing until I sat with him in our table-group, of which I find to be very solid. And yeah, the usual, first day of a new lesson type of usual.
After school was KDT practice, particularly a review day, reviewing all 4 of the dances we've started learning so far. Unfortunately it was 95+ degrees today, so I sweated like a motherfucker. We did all 4 dances, practiced them, reviewed them, went over them again. I actually got almost all of them down, besides maybe ASTRO's "Hide and Seek" with the speed of the feet movements, but other than that, I basically got all of them down, which I was surprised by. Especially Sistar's "I Like That." I didn't attend the workshop for that Friday, so, I didn't plan on auditioning with that song or learning it or whatever. But, after seeing people do it, the dance itself, the part that's gonna be used for auditions (it's like almost, 10 seconds at most), I was like "Damn, this is fucking easy."
The moves anyways. Execution's a whole 'nother story. And uh, that was about it. I think I'll audition for ASTRO's "Hide and Seek," EXO's "Monster" (of which I'm automatically in, but still), and of which I'll be automatically be put in, for free, for VIXX's "Chained Up." And with ASTRO's "Hide and Seek," I'll be automatically put in BTS' "Fire." I know, I know, it's all guy-songs. On one hand, I get the execution advantage since the moves are meant for dudes, and, for girl dances, execution on my part, I'ma have to step it up another level. Maybe I'll do like, Sistar's "I Like That" or something, I actually really liked the pacing of the song, and it's easy, so, why not.
Towards the end of practice, however, uhh, we all huddled together, the teachers were saying some last-minute comments and concerns, etc. The comments and shit ended up with saying like, "Mamma Mt," just because it and her name goes well together. They then paired that with "Daddy Drew" and it was just, godamn. "So this is how it's going huh? The scriptwriters just needed to include this?" It's just like that one quote. "Never regret anything dear, because at one time it was exactly what you wanted." Doesn't really apply here but, good quote nonetheless. People needed some drama, so, why not just start building that ship? Hmm? Mt was like, you all know how she'd react. To be honest, I was just hot, sweaty, this didn't help, heh. My phone died due to overheating, and, Mt just ended the shipping outbursts with a quick "1, 2, 3, KDT" cheer.
Mhmm, the things that happen every episode. Most are not too too exciting, but that just makes the ones that are, much much more exciting. Anyways, it's 10:54 PM, I only gotta do Chinese work and I'm done for the day. Also, my clothes are coming in tomorrow, so, hype, it, up. Alrighty, see ya.
