Week: 18
Songs to Remember: Duel of Fates - John Williams
So I'm in 6th period Chinese right now. HOOOOO, my boy Ad came in the clutch yesterday. Did I cheat? Yes, but I'm sure a large amount did too, and there's a good reason for that.
US History was actually not that bad. It was pretty good. The teacher passed out the tests, he does it so that we only get either the multiple choice section first or the writing section first, and I get the writing section first. Thank goodness we were given a small enough cheatsheet. There were 6 free-responses, choose 5 to write. Then, some fill-in-the-blanks.
When we're finishes with the first part, we turn it in for the 2nd. It took me about an hour to do the writing which was pretty long. I was one of the few that were still working on the first section. When I get the multiple choice, BAM. I went through like 10 questions in like 1 minute. There were 50 of 'em, but they were pretty easy. I was right, that I didn't need to study 'cause the material became sorta common sense to me. Overall everyone had like, 30 minutes to spare.
Chinese was a different story. We have an actual final this time, but it's online and all multiple choice. Pretty good. Even though I studied the answer choices (beforehand), I was still pretty unsure. I knew I wouldn't fail without the answers, I actually didn't even need to cheat to keep my A. So, as everybody was coming into class and getting their Chromebooks, I copy and pasted my notes onto a Google Doc from my phone, opened that up on the Chromebook, copied that, and during the test, I pasted it into the address bar whenever I need to use it.
The reason why I was able to do this was because everyone was focused on their own test, the teacher doesn't know how to use the program that tracks what tabs we have open (so somebody can just have Google Translate open. It was pretty funny that Google offered to translate the page just straight up). Also, after we're done, we don't need to confirm or anything, we just get started with the little end assignments and surveys we gotta do. So, somebody could just type away and shit, and it'll look like they're working on the assignments and done with the final.
I was smart though, I didn't copy the answers exactly I got some wrong (artificially and naturally because there was a listening comprehension section). I think I got like a 180/200, pretty good. Just a disclaimer, I don't really like cheating, because it's risky. This is also the only time I've cheated, as far as I can remember. I don't remember "cheating" on any test or quiz before. So yeah, just a one time thing.
It's 7 minutes 'till the Bell now, people are on their phones, some dudes are playing on their 3DS's, some are watching anime, umm, yeah. I'll probably spend all day with my reward of being able to play Fallout for the whole day without any worries. Yet. If I forget to post this, because I'm not gonna post this yet as I might have some stuff to right about later in case I forget, then, uh, now you know.
Nothing much but Star Wars hype, really. Also apparently we're leaving tomorrow, to LA. My cousin's still coming along for the bus ride. This hasn't happened since like, 2010. Ah, the holidays. Anyways, that's about it for now, see ya.
