Week: 11
Songs to Remember: Call Me - Sam (쌤)
Maybe I'm just taking shit too seriously again. It happens quite a lot for me, not really sure why.
I am definitely not getting any sleep this week, all because of well, tests, quizzes, after school stuff. Now imagine if I were to do a sport, heh, it would be a lot different than what's happening now. A lot sweatier too.
Psychology was just notes, and umm, time to work on our project, which, is kinda shit, because it's been like 4 days (including the weekend) since she assigned it, and I'm sure no one has interviewed a kid yet or the likes. I, for one, have decided to just Photoshop my face onto a picture of a person with a kid at a park. For the project, there doesn't need to be video footage, pictures are fine, just at least one picture with me and the kid. So, I'll be photoshopping one picture, the rest (pictures of the experiment), will be outside, in my backyard, close-up, on the concrete, to make it look like a park.
English, oh how it has brought much uh, spikes in viewership for the series so far. Today we got another day to work on our poster. We mostly just planned out how it looked, get the colored paper we wanted, pretty much, planning. Lt, along the way, mentioned some random stuff, such as how her cousin thinks she looks Korean, which I agree, she kinda does, and she agrees with it too.
She also asked me what I'm gonna major in. I was like, "Ehhhh, practically, or like, dream job?" I didn't really get the chance to answer because she said that hers was to be a dentist. In my mind I was like "Ehhh, yay? Or nay?" Two things I always consider about jobs like these: one, that it's some darn good pay, and two, it takes a hell of a lot of studying and shit. I knew she wanted to go for like, something in the medical field. I always thought it would be a nurse or a doctor, judging from the career week day she chose to sign up for. But nope, on it said orthodontist, I didn't pay much attention to it, and bam, she wants to be a dentist.
I'm guessing that's kinda what she's learning at CCOC, maybe like, assisting a real dentist or, something. Anyways, me asking Lt to go to the movies for Halloween completely slipped my mind again. Tomorrow will be a cold-ass rainy day, and I'm planning on remembering it, hopefully. Biology, the test was hard as hell, the questions each were like a paragraph each, along with a data table, there wasn't enough time to understand each question fully, so, kinda just went whatever with it. I'm expecting a hard C.
Math, again, the usual. Lunch, the usual again. US History, we had our first panel of 5 people come and sit at the front of the classroom with them playing their roles as, whomever from the progressive era. Two panels actually. Pretty fun stuff, I'll be going tomorrow by the way. And finally Chinese, where I don't even look to RNGsus anymore. We changed seats, took a test, I got seat 13, and uh, apparently it's like 2 seats to my right, and now I'm still sitting right up front, like, what the hell.
The person sitting next to me is this sophomore girl whom I don't know, is friendly though. Person who sits behind used to be that freshman who's really good at Chinese, but now, after having switched seats, is this one dude who's in my English class. I know him though. And uh, the excitement in Chinese class definitely died down a bit, not fully, just enough that I don't think it deserves the 6th period spot anymore.
And now at home, Lt and I worked on writing out the characters, plot, themes, etc, for our poster on a Google Doc. There was a point where we didn't talk about the poster or what we were writing, it was casual talk, and so, Lt was like "Can we not talk about personal stuff here? It's a school email." I don't think the school district would care to fuck around with our chatlogs with us talking about, random shit, out of 3000 other students, who've probably said more random shit, or those who put in "hi," in chat when on a class document.
Anyways, what works for her works for her, I don't mind. It's 1:30 AM now, I'll be studying my ass off and doing hard-ass mental labor tomorrow of English, see ya.
