Week: 8
Songs to Remember: Untitled - Sik-K

What. a. fucking season we've got on our hands, and it ain't even the season finale yet, which could either be tomorrow or Saturday. It's definitely been a lot to handle so far, physically, and mentally.

So let's get started. Psychology, probably one of the shittiest activities we've done in a while. Yesterday and today, the desks were arranged so that we'd have to sit next to somebody, then we both read an assigned section in the textbook, we share our notes with each other, then after we're finished, we rotate around being a "teacher" and basically tell people about the section we read, they take notes, and vice versa.

What, the, fuck. Not only is this pointless in my opinion (I'd rather just read it all by myself than get the most skeleton of all points), but why the fuck do we have to do everything in groups or partners in the class? Even for shit like notes. It's 1st period, 8 AM in the morning, that's the time where I'd like to get a grasp of where the fuck I am rather than going ham in whatever.

Now 2nd period is different. 2nd period is the most favorite scene in episodes so far, judging from the viewers, also the peak point in each episode. Today's no different. We just spent about half the period stapling our work together to turn in, then do a small play for chapter 12 and 13 of the Scarlet Letter. These plays are like a fun way to preview the chapters. We probably wouldn't be doing 'em if we didn't say they were fun, just 'cause the acting and scenes are bootleg.

So class ends, Lt walks out, I walk out, she waits for me, umm, we talk about work, again. Pretty much it. As it gets to the part where I go my own way and she goes with that dude, I'm like "Byeee" and she's like "Byee, I like your hair" and I'm like "lel, thanks". And did I mention I got a haircut yesterday? I've never gotten anything like it before. In about 2 weeks I'll approach the honeymoon phase of my hair, where I'm like "It's perfect".

And if I didn't mention it before, I go from my old hangout spot and go the route I do from 2nd to 3rd on Wednesdays like, a minute before the bell rings, just to be able to get a "hello" in to Lt. She doesn't just hang out with that dude btw, she probably just hangs out around the L building.

Biology. What a bootleg, well first of all, we changed seats today. We got to pick whatever seat we wanted. So me, wanting to sit next to my buddy Bt, but him already sitting next to somebody else, I sit in the seats in front of him, but like, diagonally. The seats are all arranged in pairs of columns by the way, just like from Chemistry last year. Really, the seats in here don't really matter to me because like, 50% of the people are seniors, the rest are juniors whom I just know, don't really interact with. And it's Biology, so, yeah.

There was already a girl sitting in the seat in front of Bt, I sat next to her, hoping she wouldn't mind. And, she didn't, heh. The teacher had us scoot up the front because, nobody wants to sit directly in the front, so, we're sitting directly in the front, right up there. I had always thought this girl was somebody else. Apparently she wasn't. I was like "Hey, what's your name?" "Ct, and you?" "Drew. Say, are you a senior?" "Mhmm, are you a junior?" "Mhmm", Went exactly like that, heh. Oh boy.

We did a bootleg human meiosis demonstration outside, the teacher filmed us from the 2nd floor balcony, just bootleg in general. 4th period comes along, fortunately we have a sub today for some reason, and so that means we get the period to do work in class. Awwww yeah, just what I needed actually, because I want to get all this work done so I can experience fully what I've been waiting for for a while, and that is Star Wars Battlefront baby. Just the beta, but still.

Lunch, we attended the Chinese club meeting in the theater, ehhh. US History, definitely one of the highlights today. 5 groups went, holy. It was close. Thank goodness the teacher stopped it at 5 or else we would've been lost as hell. My group by the way. 5 groups did their skit, and by "do", I mean, play a recorded video. I'm like "What the fuck, are we seriously one of the few doing this live". After watching the 5 groups: "Oh for fuck's sake, why is everybody doing a full video".

The first video, which was done by these 2 girls and this guy, I know one of the girls, their skits was holy hell. It was, if not, THE best skit video I have ever seen in school so far. Theirs was on the Gilded Age and each were like, really good at their roles. I noticed the camera quality was fucking AMAZING, no shaky cams, multiple angles, the sound quality was actually good, no airplanes or wind noise destroying the microphone, heh. Their skit was informational, it was funny, they had on fake accents, filmed it in practical and fitting locations, they had such awesome costumes, Even their bloopers, were fucking hysterical.

The next one, ehhhh, wasn't that great. It was from a group doing the reconstruction era, I think. It was kinda low quality compared to the first one shown ('course yeah, it is hard to beat that one). Generally it was just low quality, heh. Wind noise, shaky cam, the like. The next group, which was from the group of Ky, this dude who's my neighbor (like actual neighbor. Invited me to play when I first moved here, didn't really talk much else. Just 'cause we're neighbors doesn't mean we hang out), and this one other girl.

Their skit was the 2nd best in my opinion. Generally it was just funny, in  a good way, as in, it was fucking good comedy. I laughed hard watching theirs, the dude's acting was real nice, heh. He played the role of a grandfather, multiple pauses where he's like just heavy breathing, fucking bootleg. Their skit was like, the Industrial revolution? It was a grandfather talking to his grandkids about his young days in the Industrial revo. Also the bloopers were uh, just as funny as the skit.

Next group did segregation. They had that same dude cameo in theirs. He appeared in a lot of scenes, with him in the background hammering at a rail (road). It was like the running gag in their skit, and it worked. I laughed hard for theirs as well, heh. And then the 5th group had theirs on Urbanization. Generally shaky cam, but, funny story.

And finally, ours, which we will present tomorrow, live. Guess what, I ain't got no script, I gave it to my other group member, but we all know she isn't going to remember it. Hell, we'll all probably are going to improvise it all. I, for one, am going to improvise the SHIT outta this. We got nothing, our footage is total shit, looking at other groups, we got no time to record anything, we're just, fucked. And if we're gonna get fucked, at least we'll get fucked looking like we actually planned all this.

Chinese. Also one of the highlights of the day. We had chromebooks, we had posters, we had our finished sowed cardstock, markers, we were to create a poster and stick our sowed clothing pieces on their. Since I made a fedora, I asked my group member to draw the picture of Jerry Messing with the fedora tip. Aaaand, she did. Not too detailed, but enough to get the effect. And uh, I think we had a bit too much fun with that.

Out of everyone's, ours was the only one with a drawing of a face, let along having a drawing of Jerry Messing tipping my cardstock-cut sowed fedora. It was umm, quite scarring to be honest, heh. Also, our teacher's having everybody create a group survey, with questions like "What color of pants do you like, etc" and ask 10 friends (not in Chinese class) to answer it. Sooooo. What, a, better setup to get Lt's number, right?

Or atleast some way to contact her. I don't get how people get eachtother's number. I mean, why text when there's Facebook messenger? Well, then there's those who don't use Facebook, like Lt, heh. So I could be like "Hey, my teacher's having us do a survey for Chinese. Can you do it for me? Where can I send you the link?" And bam, number or social media it is.

So, that was that. Tomorrow's the next KDT workshop, doing Taemin's "Danger", which I've had on my songlist for a while. And uh, right now I got a shit ton of work. I want to get it all done so I can go ham on the Star Wars Battlefront beta. Alright, see ya.
