Week: 8
Songs to Remember: Cool For the Summer - Demi Lovato
If I were to be taking the SAT this weeke- I think I've already said this. Anyways, today wasn't much of a finale, more of a precursor to the real finale tomorrow at Ag's house.
So since I want to get as much sleep in as possible tonight because I gotta finish most of my work tomorrow morning so I can go hard in the paint at the party tomorrow, I'll describe briefly what needs to be described.
Psychology, we had a "fun" Friday today. In groups of 4, we had an orange, candy, and toothpicks. Following instructions from a sheet of paper, we cut and labeled the orange as if it were a brain. Pret-ty bootleg. English, we did a small quiz on chapters from the Scarlet Letter. Best part, was that we got to choose to answer 1 out of 9 questions. Nice.
After class, Lt and I do our walk convo, I decided to reflect upon our interests rather than talking about English... again. Or work. So I was like "Ah, can't wait to finish all the work for the weekend, then just relax and watch anime". She's like "Oh, what do you watch?". I was not prepared for this question. Cycling through my mind for some bootleg animes (and yes, Boku no Pico came first for some reason), I was like "Uh, Umarchan? Have you heard of it". Nope. Then I was like "What do you watch?"
Naruto. I was like "Okay, alright, good grounds, finding common ground, it's in the bag Drew, it's in the bag". She mentions about the regular series, shippuden, etc, etc, she mentions like, Sasuke as her favorite character or something, I'm like "Oh, you mean 'Sa-soo-key'?" (bootleg way to pronounce Sasuke). She was like "Omg, lel, I remember when I used to call him that" and yadda yadda yadda, apparently she hangs out near the L building. I've seen her in a small group of girls, in the bootleg corner of the L building. Maybe I'll just wander around there after walking my way, then she'll be like "Oh hey" or something.
Biology. We just, did our lab, then sat and just did work. Our lab was just pouring 7Up into a glass, have this onion root grow in it 'till Monday. Ehhh. Math, our building was to go to the first rally. We have a Homecoming rally today, so Ek, Ag, and I sat together on the Juniors reserved spots of course. This year's Homecoming rally theme is "Racing" so umm, pretty, pretty bootleg. Last year's was like, Mario Bros. themed, much more vibrant colors.
They did bootleg (I've used "bootleg" a lot this post. To be honest, all of this was bootleg) dances, introducing the Homecoming court nominees, they also showed a video of teachers lip-syncing songs while doing like, dances. Cringey, yes, to an extent. One image that will never leave my mind- my World History teacher doing the Whip. Dear, lord, heh.
After the rally was over, it was back to math, back to the regular lesson. Lunch, we had me, the cast, and a couple other of our mutual friends, sat together at our lockers spot. It turned into what I deemed as "I've seen enough 4Chan in my life, but this still somewhat sensitizes me". Don't wanna discuss the contents of what we talked about, but uh, let's just say, kinda on 4Chan level. Maybe a bit less, but still.
US History, notes, there ya go. Chinese, we switched seats. I pulled seat #33, the hand-writing was kinda ehhh, kinda looked like a 7, kinda like a 3. Good thing they were both right next to eachother, literally. So, I sat in seat #33. That one girl who sat in front of me is in my group, as well as that freshman who's in this Chinese 2 class and likes League of Legends, and there was this girl who was like "Oh, you got #33 too?".
I explained to her how the number looked like either a 37 or 33, so I just moved to the left. When the teacher came around to confirm our seats, the freshman and girl who had sat in front of me had sat together before, so the teacher moved them around, me around, 'till I ended up sorta in the middle of the room, but right in the front. I'm in a group with Zi (cool), Zi's friend, and this one girl, who is very enthusiastic. Which is nice. I gotta say, not bad. Could it have been better? Yeah, but I'm comfortable with this.
And after resting for a bit, some League games, I am here now, 12:32 AM, finishing this us. I probably missed some stuff, but whatever. See ya.
