Week: 11
Songs to Remember: As Long As You're Not Crazy - Infinite H
I am so, so sleepy, and it's only 10:44 PM, all because I was watching a Bob Ross stream on Twitch. Surprisingly there's not much work. Well, not much work due today at least.
So let's get this done quick so I can watch "The Babadook." Psychology, notes, thank goodness. Kinda scared for tomorrow though, because every Friday is "Fun Friday" in Psychology. Anyways, English was very interesting actually. Close to the finale, but not actually. Should've been though, it wasn't bad. We hung our posters around the room, had like a bootleg "gallery walk" around. There was a part where the teacher said that we could get participation points for taking a picture of ourselves in front of our poster.
"Thank you based teacher." WOOOOOO. Those cheeky writers. So, I was like "Ay yo, we should totally do that." And Lt was all like "Nahhh, ain't gonna do it." It took some convincing, then she was like "Aight aight." Well, not really, she didn't really look at the camera, and she was doing that face that I sometimes see. I'd say it was one for the books.
I also uh, told her that I've never been trick or treating before. She was like "Really?" I'm like "Yeah." She still didn't invite me to go trick or treating with her. I think she mentioned something about having the movie thing be on Sunday instead, or something. It was kinda indiscernible, but uhhh, I'm considering it. Does it seem kinda badgering? In a sense, yes, but, she doesn't seem to mind at all, and I don't even think she notices that I'm inviting to this shit.
Huh. So when's that Sadie's dance coming? Just kidding. Umm, yeah. Bio was next, which was just a really bootleg practice experiment. Bt and I practiced using the micropipette, while our other 2 group members, one of 'em who was handling the gel, broke, the gel. Didn't even take it out, just moved the bag over and it broke, heh. If this were a real experiment, it would've gone really badly. Thankfully it was practice.
Math, usual again. Lunch, meeting in the theater for Chinese club, which, I'm still not an official member yet, and am reverting back to my old lazy ways of not participating in community service events. I have a good excuse for it though, and that's work. At least I'm still going to KDT. Uh, US History, last panel, all in all alright. And Chinese, where I forgot that we have Chromebook access almost every Thursday, and I did the work yesterday, so today I had no work in class. I just studied the poem and example and shit for the explication after school.
And I was pretty scared to be honest. I knew what I was expecting, yet I was still kinda iffy about it. My buddy, the one who's in my math class as well, and is a friend of Drew as well, waited outside the classroom with me to take the explication too, along with another friend of mine, the one who's also in my US History class. Finally, it was 3:15 PM, we went in, got settled, got our shit, and uh, started.
Here's the catch: we actually had 40 minutes to do it, we had the whole poem in front of us, AND, we could pick any stanza we wanted, as long as it was different from our first one. Ho, ly, shit. Really? Well, I did my best alright. I saw that everyone else wrote literally one page long, the teacher said that if we wrote too much we'd get points off. I've said that I should write a shit ton no matter what before, looks like I didn't follow that rule this time unfortunately. Hopefully I get about a 90 or something, hopefully.
And now I'm home, where it's now 11:07 PM, I still gotta finish some English work, study vocabulary words, study some Bio shit, as well as enjoy a bootleg Horror movie, because Halloween is Saturday and I wanna get in all these horror movies because I'm in the mood for 'em, and this is the best time for it... Ohhhh yeahhhh. Almost forgot that I need to practice the tiniest bit more because of auditions tomorrow for KDT. First time auditioning, for anything really. I got the dances down, just gotta work on the details. Alright, enough time wasting, see ya.
EDIT: No vocabulary test 'till Monday! WOOOOO. Still gotta do the work though.
