Week: 43
Songs to Remember: Attention - UP10TION
So I'm sitting right here studying, I've been studying and doing practice questions for the permit test, and others are either visiting art museums with their friends or, playing fucking Jenga or graduating and shit.
Yeah. I don't think I really even need to study this much considering that, shit seems pretty common sense, aaand, there are only 3 answer choices per question. Much, much easier than the tests I've taken at school, that's for sure, heh. But, I don't wanna take the chance because waiting 7 weeks to re-take it, yeah, fuck that. I do not want to waste precious time, even though I do so every day but that kind of time-wasting ain't on my agenda.
So, other than that, other than watching some YouTube videos every now and then, refreshing feeds, checking Snapchat, Instagram, there's nothing else I've been doing these past couple days. Kinda sad, heh. Hopefully that ends after tomorrow. I'm taking a guess that, eh, it'll take around 2 hours, not counting drive times, for me to complete everything at the DMV. Like, from filling out the fucking DL44 form (which can only be picked up at DMV's or be mailed to you unfortunately), to, getting a fucking copy of my birth certificate, and have my picture taken, my thumbprint taken, do the vision test, do the test, and of course, wait in line.
Nothing really new has come across my path. Uhh, music has been a bit finicky to find lately, I'm still listening to stuff as old as, the beginning of The Days. I'm guessing it's because groups are just waiting 'till summer really hits for summer releases. Until then, it's kinda just mediocre "ehh" stuff.
And yeah. Pretty tired right now, I did take a nap this afternoon, that was, because I was tired from staring at the screen for practice tests and shit. Oh yeah, one thing I wanted to address. I was looking into the "creative" services section of Craigslist a few days ago, out of curiosity, and all I found were people advertising themselves and their graphic design businesses. I was like "Holy shit, it's all these people." So that kinda discouraged me a bit from choosing to pursue graphic design because, I did not want to end up like these people, having to advertise on Craigslist for job opportunities. Not that, advertising on Craigslist is bad, but, it sorta seems like a "last-resort" sorta thing. I mean, what are the chances a big company owner looks through Craigslist for graphic designers?
I just hope that, I just get lucky with my graphic design shit, heh. Anyways, I'll still pursue, because it is something that I like and enjoy. Alrighty, time to resume studying see ya.
