Week: 13
Songs to Remember: Wet - JooYoung
Last night I went to bed at around 3:30 AM, got about 3 hours of sleep. I think it's safe to say that that has got to be the 2nd longest time I've ever had to stay up to finish work, the other time was during 100% Chance of Bad, and that was around 4:00 AM.
Things have startled to settle down, some things are starting to pick up. So, high hopes for the next season, and so forth. Psychology, I basically studied bootleg Quizlet flashcards on the car ride and walk to class. It actually helped. Test was pretty straight forward. English, yeah that was straight forward too. The teacher talked about recommendation letters.
I'm like "Oh, for fuck's sake, all this just to be able to ATTEND the college you want, and will be irrelevant later on in life." That means, getting close to your teacher. I actually was leaning on my Chemistry teacher from last year to write mine, but he's since transferred to a different school. I was also leaning towards my World History teacher from last year, but, ehhhh, not really much to say except, "He did his work, he's on task, determined, etc."
So I don't know. I feel that this shit promotes those who are more talkative, who don't have social anxiety or shit like that, and so these people would have a big disadvantage. Anyways, that's what I think, the teacher ending up showing us the ending of the most recent Scarlet Letter film adaption. Except, the movie didn't follow the book's ending at all, and umm, very uh, very bootleg. Oh and he also showed us a ThugNotes YouTube video on the Scarlet Letter, which, when I was looking for audio books for it, I came across the same video.
I figured, hey, just do it. So that's what I did. Walked with Lt, had our convo, up until she met up with her buddy dude, then I was like "Oh, you're headed to the L-building? I gotta go to the L-building too." She didn't mind, didn't even pay attention to my reason as to why. I'm like "Alright, I'll take it." There, I was introduced basically to her 2 friends, the buddy dude, and uh, this one girl. It was, you know, new. I liked it, I liked how the plot's advancing, and of course, more talk time, face-to-face, only because Lt doesn't text me like she used to. Work and shit, I understand, I have shit too, heh.
Biology, we basically just, reviewed shit about our lab, took a look at our results, and uh, had free time to do shit. I used that to study for the math test next period, which was, kinda iffy. That feel when you don't study something because you think it's just a minor thing and won't be on the test. And it did. Overall, ehhhh, B. Please. Just enough to keep my floating. Umm, lunch was the usual, Ek actually invited us for game night at her house again, today. I completely forgot that we have tomorrow off (because of veterans day) so I was wondering why she was doing this on a Tuesday.
US History, we watched a History Channel video on experiences from WW1, with footage and letters from the people who were in it. Pretty interesting. And finally Chinese, where we took our quiz, in which some words weren't in our flashcards which I had studied all day. Shiiiiit. 14/20, a lot of people got the same, and because of those same words, ehhh, could've been better.
And now I'm home, 1:19 AM, played BO3 with my cosuin, and Dungeon Defenders 2 with my buddies. Tomorrow, oh man, I better fucking do my work. I got shit to turn in for Biology, Chinese, History, and English. 'Cause ya know, gotta assign shit even over breaks, because really, there aren't any "real" breaks. So uh, see ya.
