Week: 3
Songs to Remember: Rain (Stephen Walking Remix) - Astronaut
I love how people's conversations are so empty-minded that it keeps me entertained for prolonged periods of time. Like today in World History, these 2 girls sitting behind me were talking about how one of them tried calling and texting their boyfriend 'cause something seemed wrong, even though they knew that the dude's phone was dead.
So yeah, nothing much happening. We had freshman/sophomore orientation during English class. About 1/6 of the school is supposed to meet in the theater for it. They just explained some stuff about the library, upcoming events like dances, and school policies like clothing. They explained how you can't wear shirts with logos depicting narcotics or sexual stuff, no "sagging", and like, no short shorts or whatever. Does that apply to skirts too? It better not 'cause skirts are pretty cute. Formal, but classy. Wait, did I just talk about skirts just now?
Let's just pretend I never said any of that. Anyways, Yue's thinking about switching out from honors Pre-cal to Calculus or something like that (don't remember if it was calculus or regular pre-cal). After i asked her about the test, she was like "It was so hard, I didn't know anything! I think I'll just switch from honors to regular" or something like that. She just skips her honors pre-cal period and just heads to the counseling office and I was like "Umm, whatever I guess. That, that works too".
P.E was okay. We had a substitute again so it was pretty calming. Our regular teacher scares me, I think that's why I don't do so well. Scares me as in intimidation through a large difference of skill levels. Anyways, we were outside on the football field and we basically hit the ball in a circle, hitting it to each other. I met some new people through this, all of which were girls, so that aight. Probably the best P.E day so far.
At lunch, my buddies and I checked out some of the clubs (yesterday was only half of the clubs, today was half, tomorrow is when all the clubs are present) and we were like "Ehhh". I want to join a club, because you gotta or else people will be like "So what are some of your extracurricular activities?" And I'm like "Uhhh, do video games count?". I mean, at least something to do besides stay home, but not affect my schedule too much, and by that, I mean not disturb my sleeping time in any way possible. Also I got a lot of homework, more than last year so I'm starting to feel the heat.
I guess I'll join VSA (Vietnamese student association). Just for f***'s sake. And my buddy's gonna join too so, whatever. I'm really not expecting much, except for when I'm probably gonna have to go on the weekends to help decorate dances or whatever.
Anyways, lunch, hell, etc. I have a test tomorrow for Algebra II/ Trig, and I struggled a bit (mostly 'cause the teacher was going' a bit too fast) so I'ma have to study pretty hard, and I never really study. Aaand I did study hard a few hours ago actually. I had a hard time concentrating with my parents being loud as f***, but I managed to get through. Also the teacher allowed us to turn in our homework on Friday instead of Thursday so we would be able to study rather than do work. THANK THE LORD FOR HAVING SOME HEART.
Okay so, Chinese class, we got to record ourselves saying 3 vocabulary words, sentences, and a poem. My computer mic sounded pretty bad so I did some bootleg stuff with my phone and got it done. God, it feels like tomorrow is Friday, but it's not
Anyways, I gotta go sleep and stop thinking about Yue's big eyes looking at me when I looked at her during that test. God, was that an experience. Oh and that reminded me, during the orientation today, Am, who's in my English class, surprised me from the back like "What's up Drew!" and I was just like "Who at you again?" And she was like "You know what, forget you", jokingly of course. God, do I love saying that "Who are you?". Such a bootleg question. Anyways, after using anyways about 7 times, I'll see you tomorrow.
