Week: 4
Songs to Remember: Obsession - Boyfriend

I forgot I even have a blog. I was a bit too preoccupied with Destiny and League of Legends that I didn't even remember I had to write.

My World History group SUCKS. That is all. English, we had a plagiarism quiz today. It was not multiple choice. I had to study at the last minute 'cause I forgot there was even a quiz. A test being free response and me forgetting about there being a quiz just spells out disaster. Luckily my English teacher is a bit more forgiving than another teacher which I'm not naming. She knows that this was the first quiz and most people will get s*** scores on it. So she gives partial credit if we tried and if our explanations in our answers were reasonable, along with allowing re-takes. THANK YOU BASED TEACHER FOR RE-TAKES, though I often forget when the re-takes are.

Since it's Friday, our teacher had us do a lab today, with it being continued on Monday since there won't be enough time to finish it all. We had to separate iron, sand, and salt from a mixture. We weighed the substances and like, used a magnet for the iron, aaaaand that was about it. We kinda ran of time so we're gonna have to continue it on Monday. That one girl's twin was put into our group (Yue and me). I was "Hey, I've seen you around. You have a twin sister?" It's crazy 'cause I've never actually seen or interacted with a twin before so like, it's pretty cool.

Yue kept on doing some close-up stares at me during the whole experiment. Like, I cannot focus on the work if you keep on staring through my soul with those big, brown (are they brown? I guess since it's the most common) eyes.

To save us all some time, I played Volleyball, I got hit in the face, sore right eye which would not stop activating its sprinkler system so I have to cobtually wipe I often. The borders of my glasses worsens my peripheral vision. And with all that, I thought to myself "You know, it wouldn't be so bad if I were to play Volleyball blind-folded".

Algebra II/ Trigonometry, which right now is the bane of my existence. I know how to do the homework, I do the homework, I pay attention in class (the teacher goes so f***ing fast expecting all of us to understand at the pace she understands), and I get s*** on my tests. I mean, what am I supposed to do? Today she gave out lollipops to "reward" us for working so hard. I'm like "Who do you think you are? Do you really think a lollipop will make up for the mental scarring you have done to me for the past 4 weeks? Yes, yes it might".

So for Chinese class we all logged onto this website using the Chromebooks and the teacher set up this bootleg quiz game thing which tracks people's scores and displays it on the projector. It all depends on how fast you click your answer. Basically, she puts up the question on the board, I could barely read it, and we answer multiple choice. People who answer quicker and correct get higher on the leaderboard. Pretty bootleg

Oh and uh, the seating change hasn't really affected me and El's communication. I mean, we still walk out of class together and talk while walking our routes. Apparently El goes her route to go to her locker, but goes home at my route. So uh, yeah. Getting to know each other better I guess. My buddy from the tutoring always does the same thing, he walks with this girl who goesnmy route and then walks all the way back. Today he was like " Hey Drew" and I was like "Hey Ao". He was like "So, you're gonna attend the KDT meeting on Monday right? And I'm like "Oh, right rifh". I kinda forgot about that.

And the Algebra II homework today killed me. I spent a good 2 hours on it, not even kidding. Only 21 questions, but painstakingly so much writing to show the work. And uh, it's a lot for a Sophomore in high school, Kay? Especially one who is starting to dislike math more and more everyday.  I'm actually really interested in science now actually. Might be 'cause I actually am, or the fact that I'm starting to hate math and replacing it with science.

Sooo, apparently people are starting to talk about homecoming already. It's on October 11th, I believe. Ehhhhh. Homcomint is really more for the juniors and seniors. Not really much for the Sophomores and freshmen since they haven't really been here for long.

So, I played Destiny and League of Legends today. I also asked Yue and El again on what they're gonna do for the weekend. Both their answers were "sleep". Reasonable answer, I'll accept it. I got to get some sleep too actually. It's 12:20 AM. Anyways, have fun, see you tomorrow.
