Week: 50
Songs to Remember: Monster - EXO
So me posting at this hour, which is 12:12 AM, could only mean 2 things: either I forgot to make a post, or I just finished dance practice.
It's the latter this time. I went through the part I learned last night and after closer evaluation, I learned it wrong. So, I fixed what I learned wrong (which was slightly minimal, just the leg movements) aaand just continued to work on the same part. After that (aka, when it got to almost 12:00 AM and I was fucking tired and sweaty as hell), I decided to call it a good practice for the day, and just took a quick look at what I'll be attempting to learn tomorrow, which is the 2nd half to the end of EXO's "Monster" dance's 3rd chorus, including the "creeping" part.
Pretty easy looking, but what matters for this part is execution more than anything. And after that, I'll be done with the required parts (the parts the KDT teachers and I agreed upon for being included in the Lunar Show mix, not finalized yet, but for the most part, right now). I could go on learning a few bits and pieces more of the song, but I think I'll just memorize the rest of the song (visually) in case we need references for things such as, transitions.
For example, during the VSA show practices (like, maybe the week before or something before the actual show), the BTS teachers added a small part, an intro, before the main dance. For the most part, we were able to learn it after a few practices. So just things like that, ya know, if things don't quite flow well. But anyways, I'm thinking of doing BTS' "Fire" dance next (just the required parts) and then VIXX's "Chained Up" (required part as well). Mostly because I do like those songs and the more I like a song, the more, uhh, "effort" or whatever, I put into it.
If I do a song that I hate (i.e TWICE's "Cheer Up"), I might just keep a straight frown for the whole thing, heh. But yeah, the more I like a song, the more "umph" I put into performing it, or learning it Take Taemin's "Drip Drop" for example. I wasn't required to learn it, but I still did it, and, in the midst the school year too. Anyways, in other news, I got a more efficient Pokemon Go bot, yadda yadda, the usual, the cast (most of) did a game night today but I chose not to go due to how tired I was after having to drive with "multidirectional" instructions, and uh, Skype. I also made an excuse to not go to the KDT Red Velvet's "Ice-cream Cake" dance workshop, simply because, I don't think I'm ready to learn a dance (of which the song I do not like. And, I believe I ain't ready). Anyways, see ya.
