Week: 4
Songs to Remember: Standing Alone - Bigstar

Well, there wasn't any podcasts or online trolling this time around. But there was some League play, and just, fucking around with my buddies on the Skype chat and what not.

So last post, I didn't expect it that short. I guess I just felt good after expressing all that and I was like "Hmmm, guess that was it". There's still stuff I need to discuss, like first impressions on classes, and uh, just other random updates. Let's get to it.

Psychology. AP Psychology for that matter. In my opinion, it is, out of all other AP classes you can take, it's kinda the easiest out of all of 'em. The real work is studying and reading. That's about it. As long as you can make time, about 10 minutes each day to review notes and maybe read aloud from the textbook, you'll pass it. The hard part is the study guide we gotta do, takes like 2 hours to ACTUALLY go through the book and find the answers in the text. So I just look at the answers included, then just study the questions and answers. I don't just copy, okay?

Also the tests so far are just 50 multiple choice questions in 25 minutes, 1 free-response question in 25 minutes. Now moving onto English, Honors English. My teacher has taught everything English known to man, heh. He has a lot of credentials, teaches sophomore English, Honors English, etc, etc. He's taught a lot, pretty hardcore. There's a vocabulary quiz each week, we still haven't done an essay yet, but OH BOY, when we're finished with these presentations for the Joy Luck Club, we're gonna have to do it, and shit's gonna get real. What I need to do pass is just, read as much as I can during SSR. That's 15 minutes I could use deducted to hard reading. Also, this. These posts. Sure they're informal, but hey, helps me practice talking without the talking.

AP Biology. Lots of work. That's enough said, heh. Lots of outside research because a ton of shit ain't covered in class or even on line videos at home. Gotta study on your own time. Tests, they're varied so far. I'm actually one of the lowest grades in the class so far, and I have a B+ right now in it, heh. God damn seniors man. Anyways, Honors Pre-Cal. Literally just, the same shit. Just, more shit. I have the same teacher as last year, the book format's the same as the Trig book last year, I basically am accustomed to all this already. Advice, practice.

US History. What a class. Fun. It's basically just... US History. Nice teacher though, unlike any other I swear, heh. Also the most decorative classrooms I've ever seen. Umm, yeah, just study. Review notes. And last but not least, Chinese II. One of the most interactive classes. One technique to pass: study the goddamn vocabulary words. That's it, heh.

Those are my thoughts so far. And because there's still so much shit to cover, I want to get all of it done right now in this post. So, I'll give a brief rundown. First of all, I just remembered and old, old toy I had when I was little. I looked it up and it was called the "Harry Potter Levitation Challenge Game". It's like this little machine thing, electronically blows air to make this ball " levitate, then you gotta turn the board so that the ball goes through the obstacles. I watched a video on it and was like "Oh man, I remember those sound effects!". Pretty cool how I remembered it. I looked up the manufacture date and apparently it was made in 2001! Holy that's old. Oh and uh, recently remembered this old song from 2013, "Stand Alone" by Bigstar. Forgot about it entirely, heh. Just a little thing.

As for events, I got club meetings this upcoming week, including but not limited to ARK (Acts of Random Kindness Club) and KDT (Korean Dance Team). Also, Hl's birthday is in 1 day right now. Hl, the one that I kinda have a thing for. Kinda. It's a lot of people alright, you can't just devote everything on one person, only to have it be all for nothing. Don't waste time. At least make friends, build bonds. It's good enough. Ummm, Homecoming. Sssss, yeah, October 3rd. HOOO. Did not expect it to be that early. I guess I gotta make plans with Yn right? She messaged me on Instagram on the old pictures we took. She said "ay, this pic is so old, we gotta take a new picture sometime" and I'm like "yeah, next time we meet, I'll be sure to take a pic" and something like that.

But here's somrthing: I found the Homecoming Facebook page for my school, the event page, and it says Hl is going. I was like "Ooooh myyyyy". Huh. Well it's less than a month away, I got nothing prepared, Ec might be attending as well as Jp, you know, our new buddy, and uh, it would be a fucking blast if they did. Definitely would be a big, big special for the series, the first big special aside from the series premier of course. I have high expectations so far. Anyways, I still got some work to do. Been saving it for Monday, because, thank the lord for 3-day weekends. Damn it's been relaxing.

So it's been a long post. I've got most of what I wanted to cover. Oh and just one little confession: I faked those screenshot pictures that I gave Jp to see. Didn't want him to lose hope that this one girl didn't respond to his friend request. Just wanted to buy time so I can message her to do it. And right now, I deeply regret it. First thing in the morning, I'm doing a "Hi, my buddy Jp's interested in you" message to her. Alright, I'll see you tomorrow. I mean uh, see ya.
