Songs to Remember: Rise - Jeremy Sweet
Honors English, U.S History, Honors Pre-Cal, AP Psychology, Chinese 2, and AP Chemistry. 2 AP classes, 2 Honors classes, and 2 regular classes seem like a good balance. Like a balanced breakfast. But not if your balanced breakfast included a giant cinammon roll that'll most likely keep you up 'till 3:00 AM. I'm talking 'bout AP Chem.
After finishing up the test today for Chem, as I was turning it in, Mr.Sales was like "So how was the test?" I was like "It was pretty easy" and he's like "That's 'cause you're smart, you try". After class, I asked him about AP Chem, hoping to get an insight, a prediction on whether I'd pass or not. I asked "Mr.Sales, how hard is AP Chem?" He replies, "Very hard. I highly discourage you if you're going from regular chem to AP, it is a very demanding class. Honors would prepare you for it, but from regular to AP, I highly discourage it. You could talk to Ms.Blank for more info about the class, but I highly discourage going to AP". Not exactly what he said, but I remember there were a lot of "discourage"s said. Now that scared the s*** outta me.
When picking my classes for next year, I was not worried about AP Chem one bit. I was more worked about doing 2 honors AND 2 AP classes at the same time. Now, I fear AP Chem more than anything right now. I mean, my teacher knows I do well, but even then, he advises me not to take AP Chem since I'm not really prepared for it. I understand, but, ehhh. I mean, right now I'm leaning towards a major in science, maybe business. Out of all the major AP classes, Chem is probably the only that actually holds my attention for more than 30 seconds (major AP classes, I remind you. So no AP lunch, or whatever).
If something holds my attention, I most likely will put in a lot of effort into it. If it doesn't, I get bored. If I get bored, I'll get tired. I'll get tired, become lazy, procrastinate, lose interest, and leave it behind. Like a lot of projects that I've attempted from making games in Unity, to making stuff with Lego's, uhhh, digital art like, heh, YouTubr channel templates. Ah, those were the days. So the point is, if it doesn't hold my attention, I'll lose motivation to put on effort, or finish it. Therefore, I'm confident in that I will put in as much effort as needed to pass AP Chem (right now, my goal would be a C. Hopefully).
With conflicting points in my mind on whether or not I should switch to a different AP class instead, something like AP Bio (just memorization) or AP Physics (Physics Physics Physics meme. But really, less difficult than AP Chem right now), I needed another person to voice in an opinion. And that would be, random people on. Yahoo! Answers. I expected accounts of others' experiences in AP Chem, but instead I got letters. Which are fine too. Yes, letters as in the ones you mail. I found this document which contained letters written by students who had passed AP Chem. One of them was a 2010 valedictorian. A lot of insight I got from this. Most of them though consisted of agreements that the class was definitely hard. Some even said that it was the hardest class at their school. Others said that it was fun for them. One even made an equation for grades in AP Chem, which had variables such as time, social life, and sleep, heh.
They also made some, uh, acronyms for passing AP Chem, or rather, important stuff to remember. One of my favorites from them was "Only the PIMP can slap down the demon of chemistry. P- potential and kinetic energy, I- intermolecular force, M- Molarity/Molality, P- PV=nRT (Gas law, babe)". This was written by a dude by the name of "Mr. Duylicious", so if a dude with that nickname can pass AP Chem, hey, so can I. I just need to plan, plan, plan, study, study, study, manage, manage, manage, and review, review, gosh darn review. Right now, my classes are going by fine, I got time to spare, better prepare myself for AP Chem. Since I'm currently taking regular Chemistry and not Honors, I'm certain that on the first day of AP Chem, the teacher will be like "Okay, we'll be dealing with this and that, but we'll be skipping this because you should've learned this last year". Then I'd be like " Aww F***". And look, I'd have to catch up right there, on the first day. It'll all add up, and eventually, I won't be able to hold em' all.
I've read in some of the letters that those students used this "Barron" book for reviewing for the AP Chem exam. Apparently it's out of 5 I guess. Welp, no guessing there. This one dude said he studied during the last week before the exam, and it backfired on him. I was like "What the f***, if a week didn't do good for him, holy s***". Like, I plan on not coming home at all until 5:00 PM, I'll be staying afterschool just reading my god damn textbook without any distractions, heck, copy down the textbook word for word if I have to.
When people at my school said that AP Chem is "hard", I compared it to my math class and my Honors Pre-Cal, and it didn't seem that hard. Only until now that I realize my greatest worry right now is the class that I right now am in, considered easy. Oh f*** me in the gluteous maximus. Well, I plan on getting a head start in AP Chem, and that's by watching every single Bill Nye video. Starting tomorrow, episode one. I'm relying on you Bill. Also I'll be reading my Chemistry book that we never use. Better put it to good use. Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill Nye the Based God. Lord Nye help me now.
Sleep's not a problem with me. Yeah I'm willing to sacrifice my mental, emotional, and physical health. The state of sociality next year? I can probably kiss that good bye. I'll be attaching the document to this post if you wanna read the letters. One of the students said he was from Anaheim, so I guess it's from Anaheim. I have no idea who those people are. Found off the internet. Anyways, see you tomorrow.

Week: 25
Songs to Remember: Orange Orange - Asterisk
When I thought about going high school, I expected to experience, ehh, hanging out with my buddies after school, doing homework or whatever. Just having the time to ourselves ya know? Today I kinda felt that experience. Now if it was only night time, it would've been even better.
World History, notes, ehh. English, we start writing our editorials today, woohoo. Not as hard as I thought it wa gonna be. My classmate asked if we could do this at home, the teacher said no, that she wanted us to utilize classtime for it, which is, completely fine with me. Anything done at school is better than at home. And just wait, in about, ehhh 8 or so months, I'ma regret sating that. But right now, I wanna have as much fun as I can before I'll be put into voluntary torture for a year. AP classes.
Chemistry test was easy, I didn't even have to use my notes sheet. Apparently it took people a lot longer than expected, so the teacher dude was like "It's alright if you don't finish, I'll give you 15 minutes tomorrow in class for it". And I'm like " Seriously? Okay, okay. Now I actually wished I was in Honors Chemistry. A small test like this (about 85% multiple choice in fact) requires 2 days for people to finish? Come on now. You don't even need to write things down, just plug in the answers and see if it checks the question. For this test, it's much faster to do that, rather than do stuff individually. Only for this specific test though. Others, ehhh, may or may not work out as well.
P.E, table tennis, I move up, move down again. Along with my now-buddy, uhhh, Hd? Yeah, let's call her that. Probably after this week, uhhh, we'll, do whatever I guess. Maybe another singles tournament. It's only been about 4 weeks so far for P.E. So, yeah. Uhhh, math. The concepts for right now, and I mean now, these first 4 lessons, I do understand. Also, I write down hard notes, rather than bad ones from last semester. I want to start treating this class like if it was an even more advanced class, so when I get into Honors Pre-Cal (which I did get signed), I can expect the worst, and be somewhat prepared for it. Right now we're graphing stuff like parabolas, foci, directrix, hyperbola, and Ebola (just kidding. But seriously, there's a dude that said that). Uhhh, quiz on Friday for lessons 1 to 3. Feeling pretty confident, inb4 she uses imaginary numbers like "twour" or "feven", heh.
Chinese class, we did this thing called 007 secret exchange, where we write down a sentence using a vobaulary word on a strip of whiteboard (like a thin rectangular mini whiteboard) and go around asking people the question we wrote down. If they answer correctly, we write their initial on the back and give it to them. Then they do theirs to you, then you have to go around and find another person and exchange that card, etc, etc, unt everyone has 5 initials on the back of their card they're holding. Not very fun when you're the last few people. Then after everyone hands em' in, the teacher calls up a random person (usually someone whose initial is on the back of the card) and have them answer the question. She does this for everyone, and I was hoping she didn't call me. Staring at the clock, I was lucky that I got an easy one. Right before the belk rang too.
So I met up with my best buddy and my other buddy who plays CS:GO and we went around the school to get signatures for our AP classes. Get this: this one teacher wouldn't want to sign anything until after February break. Which is like, 2 weeks from now or something. She's right there, all she needs is to sign it. Nope, she's too lazy to write down her name in cursive three times. Heh. Anyways, we went to other classrooms aaand we forgot it was Wednesday. Teacher's have meetings on Wednesdays. Welp, guess we got nothing to do for an hour. My buddies' swim practice doesn't start until 3:15 PM. It was 2:10 PM. Sooo, we just did homework, talk about schedules and other s*** with another buddy of ours (the one who moves up and down with me in table tennis) while sitting at the tables that are "reserved" for the juniors and seniors. I was like "Hey, this is gonna be us next year". But then I was like "Wow, now this is peaceful. An almost empty facility, warm breeze, conversation, doing homework. Hell f***ing yeah". That was an experience of what is to come. I'm expecting to do that everyday next year. The level of calm could not match that. It was so relaxing. Damn that breeze.
So anyways, schedules are due tomorrow. Hopefully I didn't f*** anything up. Oh wells. Also, I worked on this blendspace lesson for our group in Chinese (with Zi, me, and this other dude). Aaand we actually talked on Facebook, Zi and I. 'Course, nothing more, I know I know. But it was alright. I didn't expect her to use Facebook often. Aaand she doesn't. Also she says goodnight. Well, you know my response to that one. "Goodnight, don't let the bedbugs bite". See you tomorrow.

Week: 25
Songs to Remember: Hell Song - Sum 41, Where No Eagles Fly - Julian Casablancas + The Voidz
I know I can work hard. Do I? Sometimes. Depends on what I'm working on, what for, and my motivation. Seeing as how we got our schedule papers today to write our new schedules, I decided to step back to see what's going on. I can't believe I'm doing this.
Real talk here. For English class today, we went to the theater to listen to a lecture that we've heard about, 4 times before already. Basically go over the graduation requirements AGAIN, and talk about what's in the course catalog. Which, we've already seen and done before. I mean, it's pretty straightforward, we know how to read. But then they explained AP classes and how we had to sign a contract if we wanted to take an AP class. We had to go to the specific teacher for class, they'll go over some stuff, explain what's gonna be taught, etc. Then, if the explanation has yet to scare you off, you can have the teacher sign the paper.
Basically you're selling your soul. You're selling your mental and sane soul for the chance to acquire college credits and hopefully make it out alive with a C or better. And once you sign up for an AP class, you can't change out of it. They said that if we change our minds and go to the counselors on the first day of school, they'd be like "Hahahaha no. You will go through the agony that is the AP class for a whole year. Tag, you're in the AP class. No tag backs". Like, that is some scary s***. Now, I've already had in mind what I classes I wanted to do next year, which are Honors English (No English 3A, now it's just Honors. Great), U.S History (Regular, No AP, not today!), deciding between Pre-Cal and Honors Pre-Cal, AP Chemistry, AP Psychology, and Chinese 3.
I find it to be a pretty balanced schedule. They recommended a maximum of 2 AP classes, not sure about honors classes. When looking at AP classes, I don't really care as long as the subject can hold my attention that I'll have the slightest motivation to finish work, and stay up late. Now, in deciding between Pre-Cal or Honors Pre-Cal. I've asked my buddies many times on this. They said that Honors would help with AP Calculus and I'm like "Are you f***ing serious, you just said AP Calc". The terms "AP" and "Calculus" do not mix well for me. Those are scary when used together. Math right now, I'm trying to keep my head above water here, and next year I'ma have to step it up AGAIN? My excuse right now is that I won't have a good teacher, or really, a teacher that I'll be comfortable with. My Geometry teacher doesn't teach Honors Pre-Cal, so I'm just like "Wtf". There are only 3 teachers that teach Honors Pre-Cal, and even though I already fear my current math teacher, I do kinda hope that she would be my Honors teacher, as now, I've conformed to the way she teaches.
If I were to go to another teacher, I'd have to conform to their teaching, and what that means is that I'll probably get f****d in the butt during the first couple weeks. But hey, on the bright side, at least it's not AP. Now, AP Chemistry and AP Psychology. I chose AP Chem because it'll hold my attention, and because I'm leaning towards a science major. Ehh. AP Psychology because it's considered one of the most easiest AP classes. Compared to other AP classes that is. It's mostly just reading. But hey, Psychology does actually interest me. I mean, being a therapist isn't really bad. Get paid for listening to people rant, heh.
And now after the constant arguing by my buddies on Skype about whether going to a community college first and then transferring or going straight to a 4-year would be better, I have chosen. My buddy's doing hard stuff, well, might as well go as hard as I f***ing can. Sophomore year's not going that great, so I'm gonna make Junior year be a f***ing nightmare. I'm gonna need a lot of Monster energy drinks, tea, candy, and a whole lot of time at the local library. I'm picking Honors Pre-Cal. Dear lord Pythagoras, help me now. Also, Vt greeted me this morning. Found out her first period is French. Proceeded to post on Instagram about how French class could, eh, "inhale her gluteous maximus". Very touching.
Tomorrow ilk be staying after school with my best bud to have some teachers sign our Soul contract. I mean AP contract. Oh, aaaand no Chemistry test today. We had a sub. He argued, even though it said in the book, that the relations between an egg and a dozen is not comparable to a mole and 6.02*10^23. It's fine though, I don't really give a s*** about whether who's right or wrong. But thank the lord for Slader. Also, one of my classmates from Chemistry, wanted to show me something. He got out a letter that he received from KFC. He said he wrote to them for a project in one of his classes and they actually wrote to him back. I looked ay the address and yep, it was from Kentucky.
It even had a KFC stamp on the opening part. I don't know what it's called okay, the lip of the envelope or something. Anyway, the letter was talking about "Oh, thanks for writing to us!" and all that stuff. Nice handwriting whoever wrote it. Nice cursive. Also, it was signed by "Friends from KFC". I was expecting Colonel Sanders, but it didn't occur to me that he's not alive, heh. Or is he? So, he told me that they got him gift cards, and brought out from the envelope (it was a pretty small envelope, about 6 inches long) 5 gift cards worth $10 each. I was like "HOLY-". "Wh- how, how does this even happen?" I seriously had a Tumbkr moment right there. A dude cones over and wants to show me something, brings out a letter he received back from KFC and shows me $50 worth of gift cards for Kentucky Fried Chicken. How many people do you know that had that occur to them?
Still surprises me to this hour. I know that after this school year, it's all over. No more games, no leisure, nothing. Just reading, writing, and silence. From, taking tests of course. And that reminds me: test tomorrow, test Friday, essay to write this week, CAHSEE testing in March, AP exams, finals for this semester, Algebra II/Trig, learning how to drive, summer work (really?), money, and college apps. Seems fair. Challenge accepted. Inb4 I try to crawl away from the work but it pulls me back in, drowning me in my own F's. "H-- he- help! *glub* Heeeelp! *gurgle* Wilson! I'm sorry Wilson!"
In other news, I don't have much work, yet in still tired. It's all gonna change. Just gotta step back to see what's going on, then just, go. See you tomorrow. Gosh, I don't even know if I'll have time to even write this stuff when the time comes.

Songs to Remember: It Girl - Home
I'm very tired, so I'll be making this post short, quick, and to the point.
World History, ehh, boring. English, gonna be writing a lot this week, doing am essay on solutions to make America become post-racial. Ha. Also, tomorrow, Sophomore English classes will go to counseling to plan out schedules. Oohhh, this is gonna be fun. I'm thinking I'll be going with Honors English, Pre-cal, U.S History, AP Psychology, Chinese 2, and AP Chemistry. Very scared on the AP chemistry, gonna be god damn dreaming about f***ing formulas all night.
Chemistry, tomorrow I got a test on mom's. Pretty easy in my opinion. Also, Yue actually messaged me today and was like "Hey, is the test going to be only on this section?" And I'm like "Yeah, I think so" and she was like "Also, how are you doing?" And I'm like "I'm doing fine, I wish you were still in 3rd period. How about you?" And she was like "I don't like 2n period :( We should take some pictures before I graduate :)" and I'm like "Yeah, we should". So, that got me a glimpse into the buddy picture-taking scene. Just a bit. Still have yet to plan the photoshoot, hehe.
Table tennis, I was doing good, got up to the pros, got destroyed, 0-3, moved down from the 3rd to 4th table with this one girl who's my classmate. And yeah. Math though, now that test we had, I think that is the worst I have ever (and hope that it will be the worst and stay the worst) done on a test. I'll let you guess. 70/100? Nope. 60/100? I wish. 50/100? If I got a free 8 point bonus. Yeah, I got a 42/100. But daaaaamn, I did not expect to get that bad. Well, yeah I kinda expected it. But, I'm not alone. A bunch of people got s*** scores like me so that makes me feel a lot better. No one got 100%, the highest for our class was like a 90. And it was a freshman. *sigh*, seriously, why does this happen. How could this happen to me, I made my mistakes.
My group members got similar scores. One dude got like around 40, I got 42, this one girl got 50, and surprisingly this other girl (the one who's like, to the right of me) got an 80. I was lie "Holy s*** that's good". And umm, yeah. Only that test for today, the teacher will show us our other one tomorrow. Might as well end the suffering now than prolong it. And then there's Chinese. I asked Zi what she got on her test and she got a 70. I was like "Okay, is this a fake Zi?" Like, holy s***, Zi getting that low of a score on a test? Was that really Zi? Yeah, it was. But damn, that was hard in the paint. Umm, today the teacher talked a bit about an incident that happened during the Lunar show on Saturday.
Some drunk dude was complaining, causing incidents, the usual. First time security had to be called. And um, everyday in class, there's usually nothing to talk about, and Zi's in my peripheral vision right, so she's kinda like, there, in my line of aight. Thank goodness for her hair blocking her peripheral vision though, or else this would all be a whole 'nother story. Aaand, uhhh, yeah. Zi's taking all the classes I'm taking right now, with the exception of Chemistry (she's taking Honors Chem) and math (she's gonna take Honors Pre-Cal, that insane b****) while I'm taking regular Pre-Cal. By the way, no way was I trying to be offensive, just, joking around. Think comedians.
Oh and my best Bud's taking swimming now. And, we'll probably gonna sign up for AP classes after school on Wednesday. Most likely. Maybe. I'm not sure how long we get before we turn in out schedules, but I know I only got a limited time to choose between regular and Honors Pre-Cal. *whispers* leaning more towards regular. Anyways, see tomorrow, sorry it was rushed, sorry, not sorry. But really, my left hand's tired. See you tomorrow.
Week: 25
Week: 24
Songs to Remember: "Best of 2014" K-Pop Mega Mash up - SHIMMIXES
F***, I keep writing January now. Well, today was a tiring day, tired from grinding over and over again. Also, my posts are still inconsistent.
I don't watch the Super Bowl. I don't even watch em' for the commercials. I dont even T.V actually. I don't even have cable anymore, heh. I mostly just get my fix off the internet, news, mostly just the stuff that people share on Facebook and the news bar on the right side. Apparently there was an interception. Also, Madden NFL 2015 predicted the score. Illuminati? Confirmed.
Well, that's all the time I got left. I really do wanna get some sleep on, because, tomorrow's Monday, and work, was tedious. And the fact that I finished it about 30 minutes ago. See you tomorrow.
