Week: 40
Songs to Remember: Out Mr.Mr.

If you're teacher ever offers you extra credit for licking a bar of soap for 30 seconds straight, don't accept it. Even if it is because you're learning about acids and bases. 'Cause you know, soap is a base.

First period was unusual. In a sorta good way. We had a substitute today, the same as the one we had on the day I lost my textbook (in which I still have yet to find it), We're actually gonna have him for the rest of the week. Anyways, we were supposed to watch a movie today, called "Hotel Rwanda", but there was no sound. The dvd player had the correct auxillary cables, the projector did not, and the speakers only had headphone jacks. So, we needed a laptop.

Since nobody had a laptop, and the teacher left his phone in his car, we had to go old school (as he said it). Yep, moved the big bulky T.V on the cart thingy towards the middle of the room. And uh,surprisingly it worked, 30 minutes after class started. I think the highlight of the whole thing was when the teacher dude said "Got eeemm". Oh my lawd, that was great.

English was fairly relaxing too. We went to the art show that our school has every year. It's basically just students' artwork, hung around in the small gym and people can go see it during class periods. This year's art wasn't that great compared to last year's, there was a lot more last year. I even saw Yn's art there. She actually had one of the bigger sections there. It was pretty crowded at first, up until about 9:30 AM-ish. I didn't see many other of our class their, so I was like "Hmmm, do we leave now? Ms.insert-name-here said that we wouldn't be there all period" to my buddy, and she was like "I guess".

By that time it was about 9:40 AM, so we just walked out and walked back to class. Nice convo on the way there. When we got to the door, we could see like, 90% of the class was there. We were like "Awww s***". Well, at least we weren't the last ones in. And uhh yeah.

3rd period was pretty interesting. The teacher dude, Mr.Sales, told us some stories about acids and soaps, because we were studying acids and bases. So, the first story he told us was how his neighbor (back in Missouri) got acid in their face and knocked on his door, asking Mr.Sales what to do. They got acid in their face due to not covering the drain after pouring down acid-based drain cleaner in their clogged shower drain, btw. And so, he threw baking soda into their face because bases neutralize acids. For the most part.

The next story was how he was jumping on his bed (back in Missouri) with his brother when they were kids and his brother pushed him off. He hit the floor and yelled "S***", and his brother told on him. And then his mother put soap in his mouth. And with this, he offered to us extra credit if we filmed ourselves licking soap for 30 seconds. Everyone was like "Are you serious" and he was like "Yeah, I even told the other periods". We asked "How much extra credit" and he said "Some". Basically, it was a gamble. He could give us 50 points, he could give us 5 points. I actually regret doing this. I'll tell you why later.

P.E. Was the usual. It's been pretty chilly these past few days, usually clouds blocking the sun. So, we swam in the cold. I chose swimming because I thought it'd be hot. But no, it's god damn May 19th (I thought it was May 20th today actually), and it's cold as hell. For California. Anyways, last night I didn't have time to study for the math test today, so I studied during lunch. I also studied during SSR. Good thing I remember some of those formulas. Actually I'm just lucky the test didn't have us use ALL the formulas.

It started off easy with some True/False questions. Alright, alright, then comes some questions about a drawn graph. I thought we were going to be drawing graphs, but no, just answering questions about an already drawn graph. Thank, goodness. Then came the proofs/trigonomic identities. She always picks the bootleg questions. I skipped those, went to the back, and those were just formula questions. Thank goodness I remembered at least some of the formulas.

The last question seemed pretty complicated. I thought "Hmmm, this might be a trick question" as in, it may look complicated, but has a really easy way to do it. And so, I sorta had a slight understanding of it, didn't show some of the steps for the proof, but uhhh, hopefully I get partial credit. And then came Chinese. It was the usual, really. Fun time though, bonding with Ic, Jc, and Zi. Lots of f***ing funny shenanigans and talk.

So yeah, I licked soap for 30 seconds straight for extra credit. I used my phone and filmed myself with a timer site on my laptop, and uhhh, well I accidentally did 47 seconds instead of 30 seconds. That's not the bad part. Oh no, the soap tasted horrible alright. The worst part was the aftermath. After you take the soap out, you feel like vomiting. I literally just went to the bathroom, brushed my tongue and spit. I think it was the hydrobeads or whatever in the soap that absorbed moisture from my tongue or something.

I did this live with my buddies in a Curse Voice call (basically Skype). I uploaded it to YouTube and uhhh, yeah it's pretty disturbing. I showed my buddy the video, that went well. Now Yn wants to see it. After watching it myself, I don't think anyone should have to witness this. Slightly erotic for the watcher, not much for the soap-licker. Anyways, see you tomorrow.
