Songs to Remember: I Just Wanna Dance - Tiffany
Well here I am, it's 11:04 PM, fireworks keeping people awake, aaand my cousins have left the building. House.
So that ends the Anime Expo 2016 adventures. I didn't go today actually, I mean I could've, my aunt woke my cousins and I up at 8:30 AM, so I had plenty of time to get ready. It's just that, it's 8:30 AM, and I'm going by myself, and I just woke up, and there's nothing to do there but look for deals.
And yes, there was somebody famous that was at the con today, Dyrus tweeted out a picture of him and TSM WildTurtle. It was a nice incentive/ purpose for me to go, but it's not like a guarantee. I would probably have to search everywhere for one picture (which is not even a guarantee meetup). Plus, Lyft fees. $6 for a trip to and $6 for a trip back is not something I'd welcome anymore, considering I'm motivated for my next year's Anime Expo cosplay.
That would be Ichiya Suzaku from the upcoming anime series "Qualidea Code," which is apparently premiering its 1st episode in 4 days, produced by A-Pictures, the same studio that made Sword Art Online and Fairy Tail. I'm actually not gonna make the clothes and all that, I'll be purchasing it, premade, on another site (with the gloves and such accessories, separately). As for the arm armor, that'll be attempted by me with foam.
Now with that kind of hobby in mind, I gotta keep shit under control. Right now, I'll be here, in this room at my grandmother's house, for about 90% of the time for, the rest of this week. After that, I got driving lessons, and a fucking math packet to do (which I know I won't do 'till like a few nights before the start of school but still). I will be busy after this week.
Instead of just relaxing, maybe I can do something to be productive. Remember last last last year? I think it was last last last year. That was when I tried to make bootleg mashups of K-Pop and EDM songs. Didn't turn out well after all this time, but it was a good experience. And yeah, that was the start of my audio splicing experience, so, props to me for that.
I'm thinking of either earning as much money as I can for my cosplay through surveys, or, start fiddling around with Photoshop (I got a ton of experience with GIMP but I can't use it forever; gotta switch to Photoshop eventually) and make some art and shit, or both. All the while, Skyping with my cousin of course.
Now that that's done and updated, here's my thoughts on the Anime Expo trek. It wasn't as magnificent as I had thought it would be... in some parts. The goods were, alright to say the least. The cosplays, yeah, some were okay, some were cool, I still only took one picture with a group of cosplayers. It was just, "okay" in that perspective for those things. However, the unexpected events and solo ventures were the highlight of it all. I got so many pictures with well-known people, I wasn't even expecting it. Did not cross my mind at all (okay, besides some like Mort3mer and LittleKuriboh and shit, but you get what I mean).
That, and how I wasn't afraid to venture by myself. "Oh shit, I just got a tweet from blah blah, saying that they'll be at this location at blah time, I gotta go." That happened numerous times, and I was tired from it all. But damn, did I take initiative. The only reason I got those pictures was because of me, and, social media. And, a bit of stalking and chase for one of them. Facebook friends were like "lucky" for some of my pictures from Anime Expo with well-known people. I'd say it was about 50% luck, 50% skill. 'Cause like, Jesus, maneuvering through hordes of humans, weaboo humans for that matter, and toughing out the soreness in my feet and legs were a huge feat if I do say so myself.
I still, however, consider Fanime 2016 to be the most thrilling adventure I've had so far, coming from The Days series and the new series' pre-season, anyways. So uh, 11:45 PM, the KDT cabinet has put up the songs to vote for to be in next year's lunar show, uhh, cosplay prep, graphic design fiddling, see ya.

Songs to Remember: Distance - Long Shot Party
I am both mentally and physically tired right now, might not even go tomorrow because of how tired I am. I got pictures with several people whom I wasn't expecting, I did get my picture with LilyPichu, I saw Dyrus again, Domics, ya know. No HotShotGG, but it's really whatever at this point. The rest, is history, aaand viewable on my Instagram. Well, it's only 11:22 PM, but I am tired as hell. My cousins are leaving tomorrow, and uh, see ya.

Songs to Remember: Razor Sharp - Pegboard Nerds & Tristan
I just want to go to sleep and die. My legs, my waist, all are tired from walking, standing, specifically standing, and walking.
So, first things first, schedule's out the window. I went with what worked best, which was social media. Most notably, Twitter and Instagram. I'll explain why in this next tale. I was not able to get a picture with LilyPichu and HotShotGG, although they were there, taking picures, pictures, but uh, security guard was like "Sorry, line's closed." Yep, could've gotten that picture had I gotten there a bit earlier.
And also, Dyrus was at the convention as well. You know, the retired top-laner for TSM? My cousins and I were at this fashion show at the convention, the hosts being comedians, and uh, I was pretty low on battery, literally, was holding onto like 5%. I even ran out of my 1 Gig of 4G internet, so Twitter notifications were slow as shit. I was pretty bummed about not getting a picture with LilyPichu and HotShotGG, I was like "Man, I got nothing to post for Instagram." In the midst of about 6:20 PM, I got a Writer notification, it was a tweet from Dyrus, stating that he was going to be at the League Cosplay Gathering until 7:00 PM.
I took things into my own hands and went over there by myself, yes, I walked all the way from the back of the convention, across the Staples Center and to the site, which was near the front entrance of the convention center itself. I stood there, hot, sweaty, tired, legs, waist, back straining, looking around for Dyrus. The gathering site was also near the bus-stop, so, there were lines of people of whom I thought were in line to take a picture with Dyrus. I spoted C9 LemonNation, I didn't really care too much since I already got a picture with him.
As I was looking in his direction, I spot C9 Hai. There's me, walking up to him, he's talking to a friend or manager or something, I wait for them to finish their conversation and bam. "Excuse me, can I take a picture with you?" What was surprising was that there wasn't any people around LemonNation or Hai, they were just, there, in the midst of the League of Legends cosplay gathering, which was surprising. I was still determined to find Dyrus, I looked to the right, back, looked into the actual gathering spot to see if he was in the group, whether he was still in his Sans cosplay or what.
I overhear someone say "Dyrus is over there" and I soon turned to looking to the left side of the site. I finally found his tall-ass, he was talking to some buddies of his, like, friends, talking about tomorrow's scheduling and breakfast and shit. I was standing there, got a bit closer, I looked like a fucking child waiting, heh, just like the Freddy plush I got. I didn't want to be rude and interrupt his conversation, so I waited. Again, I was surprised there was nobody crossing around him. But, once I was there, others noticed too and soon a mini-crowd formed. Dyrus' friend took initiative and announced "If anyone wants a picture with Dyrus, come here now, uhhh, the line starts here" and BAM, selects my spot to be the start of the line.
I was the first for it. All my hard work of walking and searching in a fucking turtleneck, looking like Spongegar or caveman Spongebob, to finally find Dyrus and get that second picture for my Instagram. Holy shit. Jesus. I was just, I was just done after that. Went back to the fashion show, went out to eat Korean BBQ, and that ends Day 2. But before all this, there was the Persona cosplay gathering (which was pretty boring and consisted of only Persona cosplayers, and they started doing single-person pictures, so, I left), getting my cousin to meet this "Gigguk" YouTube guy (which apparently a lot of people came to meet because there was a crowd), uhh, expensive lunch, walking, and exhibit hall looking. My cousin got a RWBY scythe, I got that Five Nights At Freddy's Freddy plush, and a Kiznaiver shirt (which would cost more online, and is also sold out online as well).
Things didn't really turn out the way I expected it to, didn't mean it was bad, just, different. Tomorrow, I'ma be camping out the CLG booth for my fucking photo because godamn, I want a picture for my efforts in keeping up with updates on people's Twitter feeds and Instagram. Then, it'll be just exhibit hall shopping, aaand artist alley. Thank goodness the meetup at the CLG booth is at 12 PM. Anyways, see ya. Oh and by the way, it's 12:35 AM.

Songs to Remember: Main Theme - Persona 5 OST
To be honest there was a lot of shit that happened today, and a lot of stuff that didn't. More specifically, the Cosplay Gatherings.
So my cousins and I participated in the opening of the convention, where everybody was all in a large crowd, waiting right before the steps to the exhibit hall. There was a drum solo, then people proceedee first through the escalators, and then finally us through the stairs, and boy, if you didn't run fast enough, you would've gotten trampled. Holy.
We were with my older cousin, who was with his friend (and other friend). We went like, round and round the exhibit hall for about, 50% of the day. The other parts was, 25% wait in line, 10% relax, 5% driving time and parking, 5% other. I did meet some people, whom I got really really excited for or even, didn't expect meeting. Those included: Mortemer, members of Cloud 9 for League of Legends, LittleKuriboh, and some others. Especially, C9. Like, we were going down the escalators to the main place of the convention where I saw them. Like, I thought it was just people who looked like C9 members and were Cosplaying them. However, once I got a good look at C9 Balls, I was like "Boy, nobody can replicate his height, this the real C9."
And I proceeded to get a picture with them (and Mortemer), which is all documented on my Instagram. No sight of LilyPichu, but, she'll hopefully be at the CLG booth tomorrow with HotShotGG, where I can get another picture with a person who probably makes more than I ever will, heh.
Another one of the highlights was probably when some dude asked to take a picture of me due to my Cosplay. I was pretty surprised (and like, delighted) for somebody to ask me for a Cosplay picture. Anyways, that was literally a one-time thing, if I want more of that attention, I gotta up my Cosplay game, which is set for next year.
We watched some finalists go head to head in Tekken, we played Apples to Apples (where "Niggers" and "Terrorist Attacks" were the trunp cards to the game), and had some pretty expensive lunch, consisting of rice balls and a blueberry slushy. Overall, hyphy, but could've been much better. Also I now realize that going to each cosplay gathering is almost impossible because of how you gotta walk out of the convention, and to places kilometers away. Then, whenever you wanna get INTO the convention, they gotta do a bag check (of which they stopped doing because they soon realized it was impractical).
Tomorrow is gonna be a lot of events, I'ma have to split for some because there are some, of which I want to go. Really want to go. And in the meantime, buy. As in, I bought literally nothing today but food, aka lunch. There was sorta nothing I wanted. Like I kinda wanted, but didn't really want until.now, where I thought about it. So uh, yeah. I was really tired after getting back to our grandmother's house, I even decided that I didn't want to Cosplay tomorrow because of the work (and holy fuck the heat before they turned on the AC). That was before this one girl, the one who recognized my Cosplay at Fanime, the one I contemplated sending a friend request to, commented on my Mortemer selfie, complimenting my Cosplay and Persona 5 hype.
Now with that support, I did change my mind on Cosplaying. And if course, there's going to be a Persona Cosplay Gathering tomorrow, can't miss that. Alrighty, that it for now, it's 12:00 AM, we're leaving tomorrow at 11:00 AM -ish, see ya.
